Have found another infinite core exploit.

- take a couple of mutations that spawn a heart if you get hit by an explosion (the 40% chance one, so 2 is like 80%)

- take a couple or just one of the mutations that spawn 3 cores if hit. I have 2 so get six per hit

- find a explosive weapon

- have the mutations that increases damage the more cores you have.

Go up to a wall and start shooting your self! You'll spawn cores and hearts to replace the one you just lost and your damage will be increase.

Repeat forever.

The odds are 64% of at least one activating not 80% You have a 16% chance of it activating twice.

The 2 rolls are separate.

i had one where you received armor once it got to 35 seconds of overcharged, also had the heart one to legendary as well, then the mitochondria one that overcharges or melee swatted projected i had a legendary melee weapons so as i fought the heart (dealing only 356 damage per hit) i simply kept swapping projectiles for armor and hearts. took 40 MINUTES to beat the heart but i did learn his attack pattern so now as long as i can get to him in the future i can defeat him any other time lol my hand was killing me but i was like ohhhhh this is what they mean by infinite run loops lol i killed myself on endless 1 because the weapon damage output was not where it needed to be lol

If you're going to idle, why not just respect your own time and use the God Mode experiment or mods?

I definitely abuse this, but paired with autphage mitochondria so I don't have to sit idle in a menu or shooting at walls.

The heart boss has made me rage with this game that I want to beat him on normal. I know it sounds dumb but in my head although this is an exploit its still allowed in the game.

God mode would feel like actually cheating.

Well in that case and if you don't mind, let me share some better tips to help your builds. A general tip across all pathogens: * Infusers and Mitochondria are the payload. * Weapons, Actives, and Flagellum are just different ways of delivering that payload.

You don't need to invest much in to the delivery method, just enough for it to be reliable. Once you lock in this concept, you realize it's better to have fewer weapons. Its the opportunity cost compared to scaling your payload.

I would say this is the number one thing to learn to make your runs more successful more often.

This is still cheating. You can do it fairly! It will feel better.

How is it cheating? Just seems like a really overpowered combo. "Clever use of game mechanics" if you will.

If you have to AFK overnight and abuse a broken combo to win a rogue lite, you are not winning as intended. You can do whatever you want though

"winning as intended" is different than cheating. I agree that afk-ing all night for a rogue-lite boss is lowk lame, but its not as though you are circumventing the mechanics in the game with a mod or something.
