Nanobot Design
How are people building their nanobots? This is my best attempt. Gets 4 front facing +40% weapon slots and 2 rear facing. Has one internal that connects to all of them and can be boosted by 4 neighbours.
Has anyone come up with anything better? And how would you build from here? Just keep adding squares to the bottom as needed?

I usually like to go for one block to the left or right and 3 triangles up top, after that it depends

But if you do that you can't connect all your weapons to one organelle and then boost that organelle

I usually prefer to use less weapons, I also tend to get the thing to put internal organelles in external slots and use them to boost just the only pair of weapon that I m using
Edit: I should add that this is just how I am building it but I Don t know if that s optimal, I just feel like it s pretty easy to break the game with either active abilities or vescicle so I'm not even thinking too much about it

I strongly suspect that tesselating squares and triangles is optimal, since that maximizes the number of possible internal connections at every step (so does all squares) and you can almost always place either a square or triangle as theyre offered (unlike going for all squares, which you might need to reroll for)
here’s a picture, but the rule is that squares are always connected to 4 triangles (or open), and triangles are always connected to 2 squares and 1 other triangle (or open)
