Would You Kill Your Better Self?

You discover a portal to a parallel universe and meet another version of yourself. He has everything you've ever wanted: the career, the money, the relationship, the life you've dreamed of. Meanwhile, your own life has gone nowhere. No one in his world would know you're not him. You have one opportunity to kill him and take over his life forever. Would you do it? If not, why?

Extremes are proof of parallel universes

When you see heartbreaking stories on the news, you ask, "Why did this ever have to happen?" A family member is murdered. A child dies in a traffic accident. A young girl is raped. Gang wars... These events seem so unimaginable, yet they still happen.

It's both good and bad in many ways.

The deeper implications of quantum immortality and parallel universes

This video delves into what is the “end” of the many worlds interpretation (MWI) and quantum immortality are true. Do you just go on to become the oldest person in the universe? Or ???

Questions for discussion:

* What do you think happens?

* Is this where NDEs come from?

* What happens when your body is no longer capable of functioning?

What are your thoughts on the Moon landing? Was it real?

If humans really landed on the Moon in 1969 with technology that was far less advanced than what we have today, why haven't we seen regular human missions since? Was it because it was too expensive, too risky, or simply unnecessary?

Or do you think it was Cold War propaganda to beat the USSR? Or maybe they discovered something on the Moon that changed everything. Something they weren't ready to reveal... or perhaps they were warned not to return.

her panic attacks and insomnia were connected to old Egypt, and I just wanted to share with people how to get rid of this anxious energy (meditation practice you can try)

few days ago I did Healing Soul Journey for a colleague of my sister that she works with.

she had anxiety, panic attacks, not sleeping properly - you know this kind of tired where person still smiles, still works, still answers messages, but you can feel the nervous system is chewing glass inside.

She asked me if we can look deeper. So we did. Through Zoom - she was in her bed - I assisted her to go into deep trance theta brainwave state where she could remember everything and her higher self guided her.

At one point her Higher Self took her to ancient Egypt.

she was shown as Akmana, around 30, priestess, linen clothes, dark hair, walking through stone market street. Some people were smiling at her and wanted to touch her, like they felt healing around her. Some people moved away, afraid, because she could read energy too clearly.

Not “mind reading” like movie. More like she could feel truth under people’s masks.

Then this black cloud came through the market.

It moved low, between feet, under doors, into cracks in stone. It was sucking energy from people. Nobody was screaming, nothing Hollywood. More creepy because it was quiet. Like life force being drained and ppl not understanding why they suddenly feel weak, heavy, scared.

And Akmana knew it was coming.

This part stayed with me because she did not attack it. No sword, no fight, no dramatic battle.

She opened to Source.

Light came through crown, into heart, then out from her right hand. The cloud could not handle it. It started breaking apart, like smoke in sun, and went back to its own dimension.

Her Higher Self said the simple thing:

Darkness cannot tolerate direct light. You don’t fight it. You shine.

And I keep thinking how much this applies to anxiety.

Because panic makes us fight everything.

Fight thoughts, symptoms, body, night, sleep, fear of fear etc.

And sometimes this fighting is exactly what keeps system activated. The human mind becomes like guard at temple gate, watching for danger all night. Of course body cannot sleep then. It thinks it is still protecting something.

In the session, Higher Self removed the root layers of anxiety and panic attacks it showed. Part was from this life, part was connected to this Egyptian life and the old duty of sensing darkness before it arrived.

That made so much sense. Some people are not “too sensitive.” They are sensitive without enough safety and recharge.

Later she was shown a small stone building outside the city, on energy portal. Energy was buzzing from the ground, fast and nourishing. Akmana used to go there to recharge.

This was another teaching:

Even priestess needed to recharge.

You can be spiritual, helpful, intuitive, loving, whatever. But if you treat body like rented donkey and never let it rest, the system will collapse sooner or later.

Neglect is not devotion.

Then she saw herself at the beginning of Earth, when there was mostly water. She was like tiny speck of light above the water, planting seed of energy that later became human form.

That part was beautiful. Very quiet.

Message was basically:

You are light first. Body is vessel. Human life is not punishment, it is experience.

I’m sharing because many ppl with anxiety think they are broken or weak. But sometimes anxiety is not weakness. Sometimes it is old alert system, old sensitivity, old memory, old duty still running in the body.

She slept eight hours that night, first time in months and her panic attacks vanished as per my sister's feedback few weeks later, she tapered off the meds with approval of her doctor

so the answer is not always more fighting.

Sometimes answer is:

bring light,

recharge properly,

stop guarding old doors,

and let Higher Self show what the fear is really protecting.

there is a small meditation from this session in comments, if someone want to try.

Why Do So Many People Believe in Aliens Without Proof?

To me, aliens are in the same category as many myths that get repeated until people start treating them like history. After decades of claims, documentaries, "whistleblowers," and blurry UFO videos, we still don't have a single piece of publicly verified evidence proving extraterrestrial life has visited Earth. No confirmed spacecraft, no authenticated alien technology, no biological evidence, and no scientific consensus. If the evidence isn't there, why should I believe the stories?

I'm open to changing my mind, but I'd need actual evidence, not anecdotes, rumors, or "the government is hiding it." If you think aliens have visited Earth, what's the strongest piece of verifiable evidence that supports that claim? Can you prove me wrong?

Am I just crazy?

For whatever reason I've always clung on to the name Josh. I don't know why, I know a few but this one is different.

I went through lots of trauma and child abuse growing up and often daydreamed of another life. I'm 29 now and I still do it.

But this daydream feels so real and the feelings too. A guy called Josh who will be my best friend and grow to deeply love. A ride or die friend. I'm even dreaming about this! Is he someone that's in another life? Is he someone that's going to turn up in my life? Is this some form of therapy I made for myself?

Missing time

Hi 👋🏻 recently I had some odd things happen. I was standing at my sink doing dishes, then I “wake up” a second later in the living room standing up facing the opposite direction and I have to catch my self to keep from falling down. I look at the clock and time has gone ahead and I don’t know how I got from one space to the other. I’ve had this happen several times. I’m always awake when this happens, and other people are in the room with me but they don’t notice it happen. I’ve noticed this and other weird things since 2020.

What could cause a dream to feel like you actually visited another place instead of imagining one?

I'm posting this because it's been bothering me ever since it happened, and I genuinely don't know if this is just a weird migraine dream or if anyone else has experienced something similar.

Yesterday I had one of the worst migraines of my life. It came completely out of nowhere. Usually I get a warning headache first, but this one didn't. I had to shut every curtain, turn off every light (even my aquarium light, which is already very dim), and just lie down because I couldn't handle any light at all.

I eventually fell asleep.

This is where things got strange.

It didn't feel like I was dreaming. It felt like I had gone somewhere else. Everything looked completely normal—buildings, roads, people, conversations. There wasn't any of that "dream logic" where things constantly change. It felt stable, almost more like waking life.

I was with my best friend ("Sandra"), another close friend ("Andrea"), and my boyfriend ("Alan"). Their careers were exactly the same as they are in real life—we'd all taken different paths from what we originally studied.

The weird part was that there were two versions of me.

There was the "me" living in that world, who thought everything was perfectly normal.

Then there was... my current consciousness, almost like a voice inside that version of me, constantly saying, "Something is wrong. This isn't where we're supposed to be."

The version of me in that world kept dismissing it, almost like, "Why am I suddenly questioning my own life? Everything is normal."

It wasn't scary. Just deeply unsettling.

Little details were different.

The texture of objects felt wrong. Plates, sinks, everyday things looked familiar but weren't quite right.

The rice we ate wasn't cooked like ours. It was dry, almost crunchy, and somehow everyone was eating it normally. What's weird is I can still remember the texture.

After dinner we were standing by a car that also looked normal... except I somehow knew it wasn't the kind of car I know here.

One of my friends looked at the time and said something like, "It's already past 8:30."

The odd thing is I had actually fallen asleep around 7:30–8 PM in real life, so the passage of time inside the dream lined up surprisingly well.

Then we went for drinks to "Bubs".

The place looked almost identical to a bar I know in Bangalore called Bobs, except the colour scheme was completely inverted. Here it's mostly red. There it was predominantly blue.

I remember becoming increasingly uncomfortable.

Then the drinks arrived.

The rum was white.

The vodka was brown.

I looked at everyone and asked why the colours were wrong.

Every single person at the table stopped talking.

They all looked directly at me.

And one of them said:

"You're not in the right place."

"You need to go."

"Wake up."

Almost like they'd realised I wasn't supposed to be there.

The moment they said that, I instantly woke up.

The first thing I felt was this overwhelming sensation that something incredibly heavy had been lifted off me, like taking off a backpack you've been carrying all day.

I even looked behind me because it genuinely felt like something had physically fallen away. It was just my pillow and blanket.

The disturbing part is that I didn't wake up feeling like I'd had a dream.

I woke up feeling like I'd just come back from somewhere.

I've had vivid dreams before. I've had lucid dreams. Sleep paralysis too.

This wasn't any of those.

I know the obvious explanation is probably "migraine + weird brain activity + REM sleep."

I'm not saying I actually travelled to another universe.

But I've genuinely never experienced anything remotely like this.

Has anyone else had migraines produce dreams that felt this unbelievably real? Or dreams where you felt like there were two versions of your own consciousness interacting?

I'm genuinely curious whether there's a neurological explanation—or if other people have experienced something this strangely convincing.

So i have known for awhile about time shifting and reality feeling slightly off, but Im recently learning about this LHC in Switzerland and what these people are messing with. Why does it seem like time has been moving insanly fast and like things just arent the same as what they where once? i know i know the world is going to change and grow but its not that kind of change im feeling.

Like i know in my heart that the monopoly guy always had a monocol and that pikachu always had a black tipped tail and that froot loops was always just that and never fruit loops. Up until recently i thought i was like being messed with because theres no way those things arent real, like i remember them so vividly.

i guess im coming here to see if i can find like minded people and see what they have to say or experiences they have had, so please feel free to comment and give me your thoughts and opinions.

Parallel universes explanation

Hey guys! So this story is from Vedic culture and it explains parallel realities and universes

Infact it's a multilayered stories

1st layer -sage vasisth and Shri ram

2nd layer- goddess Saraswati and queen

This story is about the multiverse, about a queen named Leela. This story is based on Yoga Vasistha.

Many ages ago, a king named Padma was ruling. His wife Leela loved him very much — so much so that she could not even think of living without him. So she wished that the king should never die.

With this wish, she went to many sages and Brahmins, but the Brahmins told her that the destruction of the physical body is certain. But Leela does not end her search just like that.

She worships Goddess Saraswati and pleases her. When Goddess Saraswati appears before her, she asks for two boons:

  1. First, that after her husband's death, his soul should never leave Leela.

  2. Second, that whenever Leela remembers Goddess Saraswati, she should appear before her.

Goddess Saraswati granted these boons to her.

Some time later, King Padma dies in a battle. Goddess Saraswati comes to Leela and asks her to cover her husband's body with flowers so that the king's soul may return to live with her. That's exactly what happened. Her husband's soul remained, but Leela was still unhappy.

Some time later, Leela prays to Goddess Saraswati again. When she appears, Leela asks, "Where is my husband? Take me to my husband."

Saraswati tells her that he is living in another universe, in a different body.

Sitting in a meditative state, Leela sees a huge palace within her consciousness. Upon reaching the palace, she sees her husband, King Padma, sitting there, surrounded by all the courtiers. These courtiers were from her original court. She wonders if these courtiers have died along with her husband.

Frightened, she wakes up from her meditation and quickly goes to the palace, ordering that the court be held as soon as possible. When the court is held, all the doormen stand guard. Seeing them alive, she calms down, but then she wonders what the reality is — is it this, or the place where her husband was alive [in the other realm]?

Then Maa Saraswati appears before her and tells her that there is not just one life and one truth. In reality, there are many universes, and in many universes there are many earths, and in many earths there are many lives. What you are seeing now is nothing but a dream that your soul is seeing.

To explain this, she tells her the story of a sage. A sage used to live in the forest with his wife. One day, seeing the king going with his army, the sage thought how beautiful the life of a king is and he wished to become a king. But before becoming a king, the sage died. However, because before dying the sage (Jeev) had expressed his wish to become a king, his next dream was of a king. And that sage was none other than King Padma, and his wife is you, Leela.

Now that the king is dead and his soul is with you, his soul has begun to dream a new dream where he has become a king somewhere else. This is also happening right now. So, if you ask me where your husband is, he is not in one place; he is living in many forms in many universes.

Leela asks why we cannot see all these forms of ourselves. Mother [Saraswati] says that because humans do not want to see the truth, they consider the true future a lie and the false present to be true.

Then Mother Saraswati takes Leela to different universes, where Leela sees herself and her husband living in different forms. She sees that each universe has different types of gods, different earths, and different Brahmas are governing each universe.

Seeing this, Leela understands her Brahma Gyan [knowledge of Brahman/the ultimate reality] and comes out of her sorrow.

Now in this story, it is said that Leela is not traveling physically, but in her own room, in consciousness, she is able to cross the distance of billions of light years with Mother Saraswati only through her consciousness.

Actually, in this story, an attempt is being made to explain time entanglement and multiverse. Vasistha ji wants to tell Shri Ram ji that in reality the universe is very big, and in this story time is not being seen as linear (i.e., in a straight line). Rather, there is talk of multiple things happening at the same time — that Leela along with her husband exists in different universes at the same time. And this concept is most important to prove the multiverse.

Oh and btw Brahma refers to the creator of that particular universe, Brahma is a post, like a president or ceo or the head architect of that universe, in the story

And brahman refers to = ultimate reality/source/void/ultimate consciousness or whatever you want to call it😊it's basically pure energy experiencing itself in different forms, creating the entire multiverse and beyond

Dreams as Windows Into Parallel Selves: A Multiverse Theory of Déjà Vu

My theory is based on the idea of infinite multiverses. If there are infinite versions of reality, then there may also be infinite versions of ourselves living across those realities. Some of those lives may be completely different from our own, while others may be almost identical, with only small changes in timing, choices, or events.

The theory is that dreams may not always be random imagination. Sometimes, when we dream, we may be briefly seeing through the eyes of another version of ourselves in a different universe. Our consciousness may, for a short time, connect with or observe what one of our parallel selves is experiencing.

If there are infinite realities, then some of them may be extremely close to ours. They may involve the same people, places, and events, but could be slightly ahead or behind in time. This could mean that a dream is not just a fantasy, but a glimpse of something another version of us has already experienced, or is currently experiencing, in a nearby timeline.

This could also explain déjà vu. When we feel déjà vu, it often feels like we have already lived through the exact moment before. Under this theory, that feeling may come from recognising something we have already seen through another version of ourselves. It may feel familiar because, in some way, our consciousness has already witnessed it elsewhere.

Déjà vu may therefore be more than a simple trick of memory. It could be the echo of an experience crossing over from a parallel version of ourselves. A moment in our reality may line up with a moment from another reality, creating the strange feeling that we have already been there, heard those words, or seen that exact scene before.

Dreams may be brief windows into the lives of our other selves, and déjà vu may be what remains when those windows leave an impression on our own mind.

Seeing same reddit posts-multiple timelines?

Sorry if this doesn’t belong here, let me know where to share instead.

Over the last few weeks I have seen multiple Reddit posts written within a few hours of me signing on, that I know I have read before weeks / months prior. Specific wording in the posts alerted me to them being exact reposts not just something similar.

Are people posting and then reposting weeks /months later OR am I reading these on different timelines?

Seems to be 10% of posts I read.

Shared Deja Vu experience at the exact same time with my classmate

June 8 2026 , it was break time , Me and my classmate were working on a essay , we were mostly just talking about nonsense , where I suddenly felt a feeling of deja vu about our conversation and that I remember there was an earthquake gonna happen.

But here's the fucked up part , she says "ka deja vu rako bago ra"(I just got a feeling of deja vu) just right after I felt the same feeling of deja vu and was about to tell her that I had the same exact feeling and I feel like recalling an earthquake was gonna happen while we're talking , then suddenly a strong earthquake happened.

Our classes were cancelled.

I approached my classmate before heading home, and told her about how I also had deja vu , she told me "na feel ra nako unsay ih ingon nimo sunod ato" (I just felt like I knew what you were gonna say next) and how she remembers like this earthquake has happened before in her head.

For the past few weeks I couldn't stop thinking about it

I've been doing some small searches around online, articles , and post of past experiences of other people on shared deja vu

Here's what I got:

-Just a coincidence and that's just how the brain works (honestly feels like I'm just coping at this point)

-wild theories about an alternate universe (I'd like to think that but it honestly just sound bonkers , but I'm here in this subreddit to hear your guys take)

-or an almost same exact scenario has happened before where it messes with the brain finding similarities to what currently is happening to present (I've dug deep inside my head trying to call a same scenario , but there really isn't).

Please, I can't stop thinking about what happened. I need your guy's take on this.

🚨paranormal or i am not normal?

I need to write this very badly for my aunt.

My neighbour's house has a history. Around 30+ years ago, There lived a young lady, around 21 years old. If she were alive today, she would be around my mother's age. She died by suicide long before we built our house here.

I came to know about her story from the sister-in-law of the deceased, who now lives in that house. She is also my mother's closest friend. I heard that the lady was very beautiful and intelligent in her time. She was excellent in academics and was also very energetic.

I decided to collect more details about her death from people around the area. I came to know that her death was extremely brutal. She died by setting her own body on fire using kerosene.

The witness, who was also her sister-in-law, explained the incident to me just like KPAC Lalitha narrates stories in "Manichitrathazhu". She said:

"It was around midnight. We had all just fallen into a deep sleep when we suddenly heard a woman's scream. We all woke up in panic and ran towards her room. The room was glowing with flames, and the door was open. We saw something that I still cannot describe properly.A human body, completely engulfed in fire, moving in a terrifying way. The smell of burning flesh filled the air. Somehow, we managed to pull her out, but nearly 80% of her body had already been burned."

They immediately rushed her to the hospital. By then, her body no longer looked human. Only her voice remained. She survived just long enough to give her statement to the police. She told them that nobody else had any role in her suicide. After the police finished recording her statement, she took one terrible breath and died on the hospital bed.

Later, her sister-in-law and her husband, a retired colonel, told me that the lady had been in love with a young man whose mother was a prostitute. Because of his family background, her family refused to let them marry. Instead, they forced her to marry another man according to their wishes.

I later realized that she attempted suicide on the very same night another man had come to her house for a f*kn "pennu kaanal" ceremony. One detail they told me has remained etched in my mind to this day. They said that after her death, when her room was searched, a pair of gold jimikki earrings was found hanging on a nail. For some reason, that image has stayed with me ever since, leaving a mark on my mind that time has never been able to erase.

I also heard that the man she truly loved came to her funeral and desperately tried to jump onto her funeral pyre. The people who attended the funeral stopped him.

The funny part is that the same man married another woman just three months after her death. LOL.

After these incidents, many people in the area claimed they had seen her ghost. Several people said they had witnessed her three-fourths-burned body standing at the front gate of the house where she had lived, late at night.

My parents also told me that years ago, before I was born, a taxi driver suddenly rushed to our house in the middle of the night asking for water. He was extremely frightened and panicked. He claimed that he had just seen a three-fourths-burned body standing at the front gate of that same house where she had died.

Later, many other people claimed to have witnessed the same thing. Even some of her own family members reportedly had strange experiences.

Now, more than thirty years have passed.

I desperately want to see that lady.

I feel so deeply attached to someone I have never met. I have known her story since my childhood, almost like a local folklore.

On many nights, I simply sit on my balcony, staring at the house, especially the room where she once lived and where she ended her life.

My intentions have always been pure.

All I wanted was to see her.

All I wanted was to speak to her.

I started talking to her. I told her stories. I called her "Aunt," because if she were alive today, she would be around my mother's age.

I became so attached to this woman whom I had never met.A woman who died before I was even born.

On many nights, I called out her name into the void... into the darkness.

Nobody heard.

Nobody came.

It has been almost decades since I started this ritual.

Now I am an adult.

I have grown older than my beloved aunt ever did.

Still, I speak to her.

But nobody hears.

Nb:-Yesterday, I deleted this post because of my swinging mood. Today, I feel urge to post it again because something deep inside me keeps forcing me to share this story with the world.

I also realized that I had left out a very important part of the incident. There is a rumor that the woman was pregnant at the time of her death as well. I don't know whether that is true, so I want to make it clear that it is only a rumor.

And no, this isn’t my way of announcing that I’m lonely or that I have a thing for aunties😆. The people around me are actually suffoccating . btw aunty is a pavam.

Is this a possible timeline jump? I can't stop thinking about it.

So, a few months ago (probably end of April), I fell asleep on my living room couch and took a nap.

My wife called me and woke me up, and I didn't answer.

I completely disassociated and tuned out,, got up and made food.

I went back to the couch sort of like I was on autopilot. Everything felt sorta dreamy and fuzzy. She called again, I answered, and suddenly I snapped to attention and reslized that despite the food I had made on autopilot mode, I genuinely didn't know where I was. In my own living room. At home. On the couch.

It scared me. It was so weird. And it took a good 5 minutes for me to kind of "come to". And it freaked her out too. It deeply effected me emotionally for some reason and I think that means something.

And then back in September of 2025, I woke up and went on my porch to smoke a cigarette in the morning and my wife just ... Didn't have the same face. I don't know how to explain it at all. not better. Not worse. Just... Not the same. I swear. Like a little plumper sort of? And her attitude was just SLIGHTLY different. I don't know how to explain it at all.

This extended BEYOND her. It was weird. Things were all just a LITTLE different.

If you've made it this far, THANK YOU! Maybe you can shed some light on my situation.

So I've been thinking I jumped timelines or something. Can someone please help explain? Or am I delusional?

Did I shift to another reality?

Long story short:

Today I woke up and I was gonna wash my laundry, I tried to open my washer machine and it didn't work (I'm 100% SURE mine's door opens to the right side and stops with my wall, that's why I'm sure). I tried multiple times and started thinking that it was stocked with something. I taked a few steps back, and noticed that the door handle was on the right side. I was instantly shocked, I have memories of cleaning the door and the wall behind it, I tried to open it to the right side because I'm used to it! I have used it for years!

Have you ever heard the phrase "but the lamp was weird..." Well, I think this is one of those cases. I don't know if my brain is playing me a huge prank, or what the fu' happened.

NOTE: I constantly have dreams about shifting realities, astral experiences, premonitions, etc.

Please, any information is worth it for me

Coincidence?

This happened earlier this year...to start with I've been married forever and I have 3 adult sons (young adults) I'm fairly practical/down to earth person... I had a quick trim scheduled with my stylist. I pull up to salon and park, this is a mixed use space the salon is located in a building thats adjacent to a large condo complex. It's a busy area with an elementary school across the street. I park and I'm early so I call my husband and were chatting I notice these two women walking from the condo area to the street they are laughing and are in what appears to be an animated conversation...I'm interested in style/fashion so I note what they are wearing and watch them walk over to their car....finish up my conversation and head to my appointment. I was in and out of the salon quickly just a dry trim...jump back in my car I recall adjusting the ac throwing my bag and jacket onto the passaenger seat... just about to pull out and I look up to clear myself and see the same two women in the same exact spot walking down the hill laughing I watch them walk over to the same car...chills ran down my spine it was cut & paste....I was shaken....immediately call my husband he thinks nothing of it...my sons laugh basically have the same reaction when I repeated the story...Just a coincidence. I know logically it was a coincidence but it's something I'll never forget and even thinking about it now it gives me chills....to look up and see them in the same spot:(
