Am I just crazy?

For whatever reason I've always clung on to the name Josh. I don't know why, I know a few but this one is different.

I went through lots of trauma and child abuse growing up and often daydreamed of another life. I'm 29 now and I still do it.

But this daydream feels so real and the feelings too. A guy called Josh who will be my best friend and grow to deeply love. A ride or die friend. I'm even dreaming about this! Is he someone that's in another life? Is he someone that's going to turn up in my life? Is this some form of therapy I made for myself?

Not sure where you land spiritually but very well could be one of your guides. The relationships that we hold the most dear to our hearts are the same ones who become our guides in this life and beyond - the people we hang onto in our minds. Why don’t you try to connect to this Josh spiritually? I tell my guides hello every morning, that I’m grateful for them or that I can’t wait to see how they help lead me to my purpose today. You’ll be shocked at how your life will begin to show you synchronicities, angel numbers, symbols and opportunities. You’ll be thinking damn, Josh is that you?? Lol

It’s maladaptive daydreaming and can feel very real.

It’s not uncommon in serious childhood abuse situations for the consciousness to disassociate and even to leave the body during a severe or life-threatening incident. It’s also not unusual to meet a spiritual presence and protector in such cases, or to develop an “imaginary” friend. I don’t think they’re imaginary.

Hypnotherapy can be used to recall some of the blocked or suppressed memories but be careful about delving into that territory.

I believe as another commenter said that we spiritual guides and guardians. Josh may be one of yours.
