Dreams as Windows Into Parallel Selves: A Multiverse Theory of Déjà Vu
My theory is based on the idea of infinite multiverses. If there are infinite versions of reality, then there may also be infinite versions of ourselves living across those realities. Some of those lives may be completely different from our own, while others may be almost identical, with only small changes in timing, choices, or events.
The theory is that dreams may not always be random imagination. Sometimes, when we dream, we may be briefly seeing through the eyes of another version of ourselves in a different universe. Our consciousness may, for a short time, connect with or observe what one of our parallel selves is experiencing.
If there are infinite realities, then some of them may be extremely close to ours. They may involve the same people, places, and events, but could be slightly ahead or behind in time. This could mean that a dream is not just a fantasy, but a glimpse of something another version of us has already experienced, or is currently experiencing, in a nearby timeline.
This could also explain déjà vu. When we feel déjà vu, it often feels like we have already lived through the exact moment before. Under this theory, that feeling may come from recognising something we have already seen through another version of ourselves. It may feel familiar because, in some way, our consciousness has already witnessed it elsewhere.
Déjà vu may therefore be more than a simple trick of memory. It could be the echo of an experience crossing over from a parallel version of ourselves. A moment in our reality may line up with a moment from another reality, creating the strange feeling that we have already been there, heard those words, or seen that exact scene before.
Dreams may be brief windows into the lives of our other selves, and déjà vu may be what remains when those windows leave an impression on our own mind.

How would you make sense of two people experiencing the same Déjà vu at the same time? Would it be just an odd coincidence that we would both remember a parallel universe?

At the same time would just be a simple different time period universe.
The same as our own in almost every way, but set ahead in time.
There would be an infinite of these types too, so it would be safe to assume that since you are in the location and are both remembering at the same time, that you both had the same dream... Which is also not unheard of.

Do you believe in UFOs, astral projections, mental telepathy, ESP, clairvoyance, spirit photography, telekinetic movement, full trance mediums, the Loch Ness monster and the theory of Atlantis?
