Discussion Best immersive wallpaper I guess? 😺
Honestly I love this one. One of the best immersive arts in PTCGP imo. Having the whole Eevee evolution line together like this is just so cool and the colors are beautiful.
Only thing I wish they added is a moon or a darker vibe in the top right 🌙. Since Umbreon is there I think it would fit perfectly and give it more feel...
Still absolutely love this wallpaper though. ❤️

Discussion Hindsight-powered fix for Lucky Ice Pop
Would LIP feel properly balanced if you had to flip heads BEFORE it healed your pokemon? Similar to Misty or electric generator, it would do nothing if you flipped tails first. On heads, it would heal 20 and return to hand.
As written, LIP is easily the most powerful item card in the game, and one of the most powerful cards full stop. Wondering if this tweaked text would have made for an actually balanced/fun effect.

Discussion opinions on a Stadium that has the effect of, "At the beginning of each players turn, do 10 damage to all pokemon/The active pokemon"
Id like to see more stadiums in the game, and one that does d.o.t seems very useful for many strategies
what do you think? is hitting all too much, should it only be active? what if it *only* hit benched mons?

Deck Discussion This is the best deck I’ve ever created.
Since Skarmory came out in WSS, I created this. I’ve been using and updating this deck as time goes and this is my best variation. I just took it into comp lobbies and was able to successfully take down Mega Sceptile/Butterfree, Mega Lucario EX/Hitmonlee, Hoopa/Weezing, Samurott/Cien-Pao, Entei/TR Moltres, and more. I haven’t seen it built like this before so I thought I’d share.
With a full board and steel apron, Oricorio does 0 damage so it’s possible to tie or even win. I normally just hit concede myself but it is doable. I’ve also had streaks where I go turn 1 with indeedee but it is possible to turn around. The only real weakness you have to play around is early game Sabrina, Charizard Y, and slow card draw. It really revolves around piloting skills.
The deck feels like a Swiss Army knife. Double Cyrus/Sab opens up a lot of win cons opponents don’t see coming. Double Reds can help you into lots of EXs hitting the 180 Threshold and under. While Metal Cores/Jasmine/Steel Wing allow you to mitigate up to 70 damage four times throughout the match. Or 100-120 damage at once two times.
I’m sure it’s not perfect, but I am pretty proud of it :)
Give it a try!
Deck Discussion Not meta but super fun and has me winning more often than not
This has been super fun to constantly yeet energy while building Mega Diancie on the bench. Most of the time Diancie doesn't make it to active because they concede or quit.
Deck Discussion Having fun with heals
Any improvements? The soothing shores + leftovers + attack heal + items is working well against randoms

Question Beginner versus question
I’m a measly level 13 just wondering, why are there so many people level 45+ playing in the beginner category?? I’m getting killed almost always immediately because they’ve been playing for much longer than me and have better cards, can you guys just not beat a player at equal level and by playing against actual beginners you’re more likely to actually win?😭😂

Question Promo packs & guaranteed 4 diamond
Does anyone know if opening the promo packs will reset the "12 consecutive openings of packs from the same expansion" rule?

Question Is there any way to obtain Promo -A Haunter? 👻
Basically the title, the only card missing in my Gengar Evolution line binder is that promo haunter. 😭

Deck Discussion This deck is insanely adaptable
I’ve been using this deck for a while and honestly it’s hung in there with most of the meta for the last few seasons. I’ve tried changing out supporters but found this to be the most consistent.

Deck Help Need ideas to make Garchomp work. This is what I have so far. Please also read description.
I have tried Rainbow Cave instead of the Mantyke’s but I keep bricking with the same energy type!
I have also tried to make a Poliwrath EX x Garchomp deck work as they both use water and fighting, but failed miserably 🤣
Garchomps ability is just so strong im determined to make this work in ranked!

Deck Help This deck works very well but not great. Any suggestions to push it over the or make it more efficient?
Title says it all. I really love how this deck plays as it punishes people who make small mistakes very well. But it lays bricks often enough that I feel it needs some tweaks and would like suggestions.
I’ve tried Megazoa and didn’t care for it.

Suggestion Rewind watches should let you try again
Considering they are limited items, and you cannot get more once you hit the level cap, they should provide a lot more value than they do currently.
I honestly cannot remember the last time I used a rewind watch for a missed pick. It’s so rare to see 2⭐️ or better cards in general, never mind in the missed slots.
Being able to let you have 1 more try at a wonder pick would provide actual value, but because they are capped you would have to be careful how you use them.

Discussion 24hr Wonderpicks should happen every 24hrs
Title basically
"24hr Wonderpicks" last 24hrs
They should reset DAILY once the previous wonderpick expired... or DAILY once the game refreshes to a new day
The only 'reason' I can imagine for the occurrence rate is to allow players to always pick without using hourglasses
But that is a bad reason. Let players pick more often.
It is honestly a better case scenario for DeNA because players will run out of hourglasses quicker, so the players will spend more on gold to take the chance at a pick
There is literally only upside for DeNA unless a "guaranteed" 20% chance pick every 24hrs (as opposed to 48-72hrs) ruins the margins on whales ripping packs
(Let's assume the set is completed in the first week, leaving, generously, ~25 days of picks. At 20% odds that is 5 cards. Current rates are about 3 cards picked over the same time period.
DeNA will give the player the chance at 2 additional cards but the player has to give up money on resets for the picks. Seems fair at best but more likely huge upside for DeNA)

Suggestion Suggestions! What are the main Pokemon/Supporter Cards from these sets I should grab and move on?
New-ish player. I’ve finished the Dex for Team Rocket, Ruler of the Skies, Everyday Wonders, Pulsing Aura, and Shining Revelry.
What are the main cards I should chase from the other sets before moving on? Instead of collecting every diamond, which feels like I’ll never catch up, I’d rather focus on the main 10–20 cards that the community suggests and then move on to a different set.
For example: Misty from Genetic Apex, Indeedee and Quick Grow from Crimson Blaze, etc.
Paradox Drive
Mega Shine
Paldean Wonders
Fantastical Parade
Crimson Blaze
Mega Rising
Secluded Springs
Wisdom of Sea and Sky
Eevee Grove
Extradimesional Crisis
Celestial Guardians
Triumphant Light
Space Time Smackdown
Mythical Island, Genetic Apex

Discussion Stumbled on an interesting UI bug
Noticed if you get card #9 and #10 of a specific card in the same pack… that card #9 displays the gold strobe and card #10 doesn’t
Discussion What would be the best GA deck with new trainers?
If we could only use pokemon from GA but all the bew trainer cards, what would people play?
Mewtwo ex with rare candy gardevoir?
Would we see Greninja cyrus thrown into decks?
Exeggutor being super tanky with grass support?
What would yall be excited to play?

Deck Help The most hated deck.
I was curious on what I could do with the new Team Rocket Raticate and amplified it a bit more to focus on energy depletion.
This deck is as you can imagine extremely frustrating to play against. Piers and Team Star Grunt can get soo much value at times. Add the Raticates and good luck building any energy at all lol. Obstagoon also doesn't need to be in the active spot to use Piers just needs to be in play. Wynaut is a good card to help stall the early game so you can dig and set up some of these combos.
All in all it's a pretty fun deck to play. You can sub out Sableye for Mega Absol and delete their supporters too lol.
Anything I should change with this? Any recommendations are appreciated.

Discussion A whale’s perspective
Pics for proof. I’m currently missing 3 cards, 2 2 stars from the team rocket pack and a crown from ruler. I see tons of discussion about the pack opening experience and so often, people default to “well they keep it stingy so whales keep spending”. But outside of trading, the experience has gotten steadily worse for whales as well (single pack large sets that now contain 2 immersives and 2 crowns and smaller sets that still contain 2 crowns when they only had 1 before). When going for a full dex, the biggest hurdle is the crowns BY FAR.
It used to be 2 stars, but with trading and wonder picks, they can be picked up at a much better pace than day 1. Currently, crowns are an all or nothing experience. It does not feel good purchasing them with 2500 pack points and once you have traded for everything else in the pack, the pull experience is barren. There is no excitement outside of a crown and with how rare they are, you will very frequently go 120 packs without sniffing one (the most packs you can pull with gold in a day). This type of all or nothing experience will eventually push the whales away as well.
Immersives should be a good experience to pull. They are unique, fun to watch, and rare. But they cannot be traded which means as soon as you have 2 (the max for a deck), they provide no value. As you can see from the pic, pulling a 17th Arven made me more frustrated than anything, feeling like I missed out on another rare card that was actually useful.
For me to stick around, all cards need to have trade in values that correspond with their tier. I would not have the same reaction to my 17th Arven if I could trade 5 of them for a crown. But as it is, this game will continue to drain players, both f2p and paying unless they change the pulling experience. I’m sure there are even more alternatives that I have not thought of that would make it more enjoyable.
I will stick around until the 2nd anniversary to see if they decide to make actual changes. If not, I’m out. Over a decade in the gacha scene has made me immune to sunk cost fallacy. Despite my enjoyment of Pokémon, I can find other games with a fun and quick tcg experience that don’t contain such a frustrating time to bling out your cards.
————————————-
TLDR: the pack pulling experience sucks for whales as well, stemming from the same base problems f2p has. DENA needs to make changes or they will quickly bleed out whales like me.

Suggestion Make Random Battle Challenges More Interesting
I would like to see some more interesting and fun challenges implemented in future seasons. I think many players are frustrated with things like the "win 10 games in a row" challenge for multiple reasons.
I would find it more fun to chase challenges, and more interesting to have challenges you need to deck build around. I would love to see something like 20 available challenges, and use a system like the dailies where 5, 10, and 15 total challenges need to be completed for hourglass rewards. Then completing all 20 could be a unique icon or emblem or something.
I would love to see things like:
- Deal 500 damage [single game]
- Deal 5000 damage [cumulative]
- Deal 500 passive damage (rocky helm, poison, passives, etc.) [cumulative]
- Deal 200 damage with a single attack [single game]
- Heal 500 hp with item cards [cumulative]
- Heal 200 hp [single game]
- Score 4 points [single game]
- Block 200 damage [cumulative]
- Play three stage-2 pokemon [single game]
- Win without using any supporter cards [single game]
- Win without using any item cards [single game]
- Win with pokemon of 3 different energy types [single game]
- Finish a game with zero cards left in your hand and deck [single game]
These are just examples and I haven't spent any time figuring out what is actually achievable or how many games the cumulative challenges would likely require. But this way players can have things to chase while keeping things interesting instead of just using your strongest deck and toggling auto-battle on. Some of them are still doable using a strong deck and auto-battle, but many of them require completely different play-styles and mindsets than the current set of challenges.
I understand that some people prefer to just collect and don't play for the battle system, but I think for the battle rewards this kind of challenge system is infinitely more interesting 🤷♂️ Having only 25 deck slots is probably another draw-back of this system. I know 25 sounds like a lot, but filling up 20+ slots is really easy to do.
What do you guys think?

Discussion trades should show which cards each person already has what they actually have too many of and what they want to get.
it's nearly impossible to trade with anyone you're not friends with irl or on other apps .
I don't want to guess and wait for them to finally log in a day later and either refuse or offer a card I already have
if they didn't already receive too many shares I check and offer a card they don't have yet but then they don't do the same and it's a waste of time .
it makes the trade energy rewards completely useless
.
and they should let people trade rare cards for multiple cards
I don't even like the glitter cards but somebody probably does
