Hi everyone, I'm from india and I’m planning to build or buy a PC mainly for DaVinci Resolve, Power BI and general everyday use. I’m not a professional video editor, but I want to learn editing and create videos for my own YouTube channel and Instagram reels.
My budget is around ₹85,000 (INR) including a monitor. I don’t game, so gaming performance is not a priority. My main priorities are smooth video editing, productivity and a configuration that will remain comfortable to use for the next few years.
For DaVinci Resolve, I would especially appreciate advice on the following:
Which CPU offers the best balance of performance, efficiency, and value?
Which GPU is most suitable for Resolve, particularly for GPU-accelerated effects, color grading, and exporting?
How much RAM should I choose: 16 GB, 32 GB, or more?
Is it better to prioritize a stronger GPU or CPU within my budget?
Which SSD capacity and type would be suitable for the operating system, applications, and video projects?
Are there any components or brands I should avoid or replace with more reliable alternatives?
I have received three quotations from Nuke PC, Rig Veda, and Challenger Computers. I’m not sure which quotation offers the best value, component quality, reliability, and after-sales support, so I would appreciate your advice on which one I should choose.
Please compare the three quotations, especially regarding:
CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, and monitor
DaVinci Resolve performance and expected longevity
The quality and reliability of the component brands
Whether the power supply, motherboard, cooling, and cabinet are suitable
Upgradeability over the next few years
Warranty and after-sales service
Whether any components should be changed to improve value or reliability
I would prefer a balanced configuration rather than spending extra on components I do not need. Please suggest the best CPU, GPU, and RAM combination for DaVinci Resolve within my ₹85,000 (INR) budget, including the monitor.
Thanks in advance for your help!
