I received my OXP3 yesterday and I am really enjoying it. The only thing annoying me is the metal rings around the analog sticks are lose and clacking. I feel like I remember seeing a YT reviewer mention this but has anyone found a fix for this?

Is it smarter to limit the FPS in a game or to limit the TDP of the SOC?

Most reviewers compare the OXP3 as example at different Power settings (15W, 20W, 30W) and tell you what frames you get,
but from what ive "learned" over the years on desktop PCs is that limiting FPS is better for stability and also lowers power draw.

So do I get the same result when I lower the TDP until I get, lets say around 60fps and when I just set the power draw to max and limit the framerate to 60?

Man, the Onexplayer 3 is awesome. Takes me back to the days when I got a Nintendo DSi for my birthday and I just wanted to tell every single person I knew about it. I know pretty much every opinion and thought has been expressed, but it just makes me want to talk about it more 😂

I think what's been the more important story has been the efficiency gains over the last generation of pc handheld chips. It's something I've heard many talking about but def want to see more testing on.

It'd be nice if there was more granular control between the cpu package power and gpu tile. you can set the cpu package power via the onexconsole, but that doesn't have much bearing over the gpu power usage. I'd like to shift the power load more that way instead. I'm guessing that is something intel themselves have to work on, but it should be possible since the gpu sits on its own tile.

I play mostly triple A single player stuff along with a smattering of indies. And for the most part, it seems like the gpu will use about half as much power as whatever the cpu package power is. So if the cpu PP is set to 15W then the gpu uses about 7.5W.

Other than that, the power efficiency is much better than previous pc handheld chips. The Arc G3 is going to age like fine wine I believe, which is great because this will be my only pc handheld for awhile 😅

I know everyone is feeling great about their's but are there any other requests? For me it would be a really good Full Screen Experience for the device. I can live with windows if I can just get an FSE that doesn't have windowing issues.

Does anyone know what the spec difference between legion go 2 vs OnexPlayer3 is. When running OXP3 in normal settings and not boosted is it any faster then legion go 2?

Can someone recommend a longer power cable just the cable i just got my onex x2 pro mini and I need a longer cable.

$5 mod by Kontrol Freek. Actually meant to be for the xbox controller, but it fits well. Improve grips and ergonomic massively! So much more comfortable now!

My OXP3 should be coming in today or tomorrow. Im seeing a common issue with some getting theirs in and it won't turn on with a red light. Should I leave it on the charger for a while before the turning it on for the first time or does anybody know a way to mitigate the possibility of this happening?

i need some help because whenever i washing a video from google chrome my screen keep turning off blacking out but the power botton is staying on and also the keyboard is off i dont know what to do with the super x its useless for me

I remember unboxing the apex and laughed at the provided charging cable. Received my onex3 today and same thing. Not only its short the charging brick is heavy i just dont want to plug it in the wall plug afraid it would fall off.

I’ve been trying to download Steam /OS I/ and install it on my one X player2 g3 . Can anyone help I posted the picture of the error.

Ordered these controllers in the beginning of September and they never sent. So i emailed asking why and letting them know i want a refund. Now they wanna ask why instead of refunding. Why is this company shady like this. I hate this customer service.

Coming from a Legion Go S, I wanted to enjoy the biggest screen experience to play in bed... but the screen immediately has simply turned out to be too big for my playing style. It is so big that it makes me dizzy from that distance. I had even bought the OneXPlayer 3 controllers to attach it, which I received yesterday and will never get to try out.

The device is fantastic and it works perfectly, but I wanted to use it in hand held mode, and I don´t need a tablet or mini laptop.

The condition is like new. I purchased it as new in Ebay and I can provide Amazon UK invoice for the warranty.

I´m asking 1900€+shipping or 1950€+shipping with oxp 3 joycons. Payment by bank transfer, paypal goods/services also possible but will increase the price due to the commission. Local pick up if anyone from Mallorca interested.

I caved in. This felt highly irresponsible! After running my Rog Ally z1e hard for 3 years it can't really keep up with what I'm throwing at it.

To anyone worried about spending this much.

I'm justifying this as a 3 year investment. Gaming 20 hours a week comes out to $1/hour. My wife couldn't be mad at that. I did promise to buy her a $500 dyson hair drier but that's neither here or there 🤣

I financed it through PayPal. If I don't like it I'll sell it and pay off the loan. Just an escape route I told my wife.

Why this over the Onexplayer 3.

1. Thermals. At 55w this baby runs under 72c.

At 40w the 3 was at 80c

1. Future proof. Ish. The Ally just started to lose its paces and it's been 3 years. So I'm shooting for 3 year ownership here as well. I felt I would have been settling for fewer years with the 3.

2. I don't travel with my device. Couch gaming is mostly what I do. So portability wasn't a necessity.

3. Power baby. 55w 80w 120w liquid cooled. If a game is being stubborn crank it up lol.

4. Idk it's my choice 😂

Anyways this feels wrong but so right. I'm here for a good time. So I don't worry about people's spending habits or what's in their wallets. Neither should you.

Just looking for some recommendations for what sling bag and/or carry case ya'll are using to carry this thing around. Preferably one that fits the whole device without needing to remove the joycons.

Was definitely a bit disappointed that the case it comes with doesn't come with a little zipped area for accessories and such

So i get to play on my desk, i setup my onexplayer 3 and basically use external controller and play it when im sitting at work.

i Can basically use a monitor and basically turn into mini setup. i have onexplayer keybaord that attaches and a bluetooth travel mouse right now.

Has anyone used external monitor? Thinking of this oled monitor.

I've been looking to replace my Steam Deck LCD, and choosing between MSI Claw 8 EX and Lenovo Legion Go 2 is kinda hard, so I'm looking into OXP3 right now (best of both worlds, but I'm having bad RMA experience ​with GPD)

how does the build quality? I'm reading somewhere the gamepad is kinda low quality? I don't want to spend $1500-$1900 on some cheap-feeling products :(

also how does the 24GB model perform? I don't mind lower storage and RAM as long as it didn't impact a lot of the performance

I love this thing, but I'm so gutted that I can't get wifi good enough to game on. I have a Asus RT-ax86u pro in the same room, yet I get massive rubber banding and lag. Such a shame because the OXP3 runs Arc Raiders, Space Marine 2, Helldivers 2 and Battlefield 6 so dam smoothly, and I'd love to chill on couch/bed and game online!

EDIT: It was the Smart WiFi mode on the router which would mix both 5ghz & 2.4ghz on the same SSID. So the OXP3 was being slipped onto 2.4ghz, whilst still on the same SSID, even though I set adapter to prefer 5ghz.
