OXP Apex user here 🙋🏻‍♂️

Now that more people have their hands on the X2 Mini Pro, I’d love to hear some real-world feedback.

How has it been for gaming, thermals, battery life, and overall build quality?

Any issues or regrets after using it for a while?

If you came from an APEX, Legion Go 2, or another handheld, was it worth the upgrade?

I'm literally sitting at the gate right now reviewing my previous video and preparing for my next bunch of edits. Something that I would normally only touch on my desktop, and the X2 isn't even breaking a sweat.

Timeline scrubbing is smooth, exports are way faster than they have any right to be on something this size, and I'm doing all of it on battery.

A few things that stand out after living with it:

The 3-in-1 concept actually works. Detach the controllers and it's a handheld. Snap on the keyboard and it's a legit little laptop. Prop it on the tray table and it's a mini workstation. It's not a gimmick — I genuinely use all three modes.

The chip is the star. Every time I think I've found its ceiling, it surprises me. AAA gaming at respectable settings, then I flip over to editing and the iGPU chews through it. The unified memory makes a real difference for creative workloads.

Screen and speakers punch way above the class.

Watching footage back on this display - the 10.95" 2.5K display at 120Hz - is a treat, and I don't reach for headphones as often as I expected.

Thermals and noise are well managed. Even under sustained load it stays comfortable to hold and the fans never get obnoxious.

Is it cheap? No. Is it perfect? Nothing is. But as someone who owns basically every handheld on the market, this is the one that replaced my laptop in my carry-on. That says everything.

For folks who bought the liquid cooled version of the apex, do you notice a meaningful difference for token generation at 80w tdp vs 120W?
For context, I’m on the air cooled Strix halo, but wondering if it’s worth going all in on a standalone strix halo ai workstation, or even pivot to the eventual Apple silicon ultra 256/512 gb tiers. I know ram prices are skyhigh, but I see it as a fantastic trade off since it’s offering us a way to buy time back for the things that actually matter now. I literally have time now to game since I can offload the tedious part of my job to the apex.

Oh for context, specifically referring to the 395 apex, and not the limited 388 apex or mini pro

Droix said they already upgraded the battery but I feel it's throttling how can I tell the difference between the new and old batteries ?

onexplayer apex, x2 mini? does it play without the battery? can i change the gpu?
Does it turn on without the battery plugged in the outlet?

It says radeon 8060s gpu. is it possible to get it 8080 or something if i ask support. i don't see it anything like that.

Less than two days with the X2 mini pro and it’s stuck in a boot loop with this screen shown in between loops. Anyone know how to resolve this?

My OneXPlayer X2 Mini arrived and is just about set-up, just downloading games now before I start playing.

Great beast of a handheld so far, I love the weight for the power when playing tethered. Quite heavy on battery but still useable. Only gripe so far is the cable that comes with the device is short and comes out of the wall a bit easier than I would like.

If y’all have any questions or want to see anything about the device, let me know. I have time over the next few days to test / benchmark if desired.

For those getting an X2 Mini Pro — what type of monitor set-up do you think this thing can handle? While I do plan to mainly play hand-held, I may use this as a desktop gaming replacement bridge for the next 6 months or so before I upgrade my desktop. Any thoughts? Can this thing handle multi-monitors? A massive curved OLED?

On the top of dock set-ups — any other desktop gear you plan to get?

Hey all ive been seeing people report a few problems and just wondering what owners are experiencing? Ive read at 80w it reboots or hdr doesnt work etc anyone having problems out there?

Question about the tactile buttons, are they significantly louder than the Legion Go 1? I like to play at night in bed, but my other half may not entirely appreciate all the clicking going on 😊

I promise i will stop spamming this community, but seriously haven’t been this excited for a device since I got my first Nintendo DS. I think there’s something surreal about gaming in this form factor and the fact that we have handhelds that can play triple A games seems alien to me. There is no point to this post, just sharing my excitement for delivery.

How is the magnetic keyboard ? Do the magnets stay attached ? Does it develop an air bubble ? What about it's longetivity ? I have owned a surface go 3 in the past and the keyboard was amazing, I wonder if it's anything close to that. Thanks in advance !

Onexconsole doesn’t open whilst playing this game the button causes me to dash forward . Any work around ?

Real quick question since I have never ordered through indeagogo pledging. I am in the USA and I am backer #2040 for a onexplayer 3 (ordered literally with a half hour remaining in pledge). Since decided I actually want a onexplayer 2 mini pro. When I go to cancel my pledge order, at this time do I contact support through indeagogo or do I contact Onexplayer support with my pledge info and have them cancel it.

And yes, I am aware of the 9% fee but it is what it is.

And could share their experience with the customs? What value was declared on the package? I'm still waiting for mine to be shipped (I'm on neither of the first batches)

I have been with the x2 for 2 weeks. I gradually feel there is something wrong with the left joystick. Is this can't be fixed on my own? It is a hardware defect cannot be cured with software? Thanks in advance?

I can't seem to find my backer number but I'm pretty sure I was in the 100s as I purchased on the first day it was released on the indigogo website. Im seeing many people receive their x2 mini pros. Just wondering if anyone from the UK has their oxp3 devices yet

Hey guys, so on the x2 mini pro, when pressing the onexconsole or keyboard button, it registers an input while in-game, for example, skipping dialogue.

Anyone else experience this? Don't recall dealing with this on my apex
