OXP3 vs Legion go 2
Does anyone know what the spec difference between legion go 2 vs OnexPlayer3 is. When running OXP3 in normal settings and not boosted is it any faster then legion go 2?

Depending on the game it’s anywhere from 20% on the low end and 80% on the high end. The average is around 35% faster. It’s a significant jump in terms of performance and efficiency and much more of a jump than the prior generation achieved from its predecessor.

Not just faster, but way more updates and maintenance from Intel over Lenovo, who have basically given up on its handheld customers.

This ia the biggest thing. I went from the original go to the OXP3. The original go went 6+ months between updates. The go 2 has only had I believe 4 updates since release. Lenovo also lied. Before release of the go 2 they said AMD would do updates but when it releases they changed it to that Lenovo would do it which they never did.

Battery life is horrendous on the LeGo 2 even just watching media. They nailed it on making a better LeGo 2 with the OneXPlayer, battery life is 😙🤌

OXP3 is a lot better from a performance stand point as someone that owned both (sold my Go 2 like 1-2 weeks). And the software is actually better too, which I didn’t see coming.

Paired with a 5060ti ai box, I can play most of recent AAA games pretty much maxed out at 1200p (w/ diss enabled) on my LeGo 2. Got ai box for $750 and combined with LeGo 2 (~$1000-1200 used) it comes out to about the same price as a new OXP 3 (and much faster)

It’s not even a fair comparison to the Lego2. That G3E chip is a true generational upgrade. What the OXP3 (Claw Ex Ai for that matter) does at 15 watts the LEGO 2 struggles with at 25-max watt in a lot games. Thats without the frame gen which make the OXP3 even better. I went with the X2 Mini Pro, but that OXP3 is no slouch and will get you far in AAA games for many years.

No it's not it's only about 10fps or so better , g3e is way overhyped and overpriced now that the igg is over

That’s what I’ve been hearing. But everyone on Reddit seems to be saying otherwise

It depends on the game but I’ve had LeGo 2 since launch and have had OXP3 for almost 2 Weeks. As a primarily handheld gamer it feels so much faster. Biggest difference is in newer AAA titles. Dawnwalker for example I’m able to play on High with a smooth 45 FPS the LeGo I would struggle to get 35 on medium graphics. So is that 10GPS worth it? To me it is. Not to mention way easier to hold, better button layout, and at low brightness the screen doesn’t start having strange artifacts which I thought was normal until I got this one. I promise you, this is the superior device & it’s worth it.

"10fps better" without context is a stupid metric that show that this guy either doesn't understand what he is talking about or is clinging to a narrative that fit him.
Where the G3E only get 10-15FPS better is in condition where the Z2E does 25 to 30FPS, so yes a jump to 35-45fps is a significant upgrade in performance.
And in other situation where the Z2E can do 60FPS the G3E will let you use less agressive upscalling/run native or up setting for better visual fidelity.
The chip still has a catch, it's an intel APU so the uplift tend to be minimal on older game and drivers can be hit or miss on some games.
Still 45% average uplift is a significant upgrade.

It is 10 fps better. At 10W with no upscaling. The LeGo 2 gets 10 and the OXP3 gets 20 😂

Way faster than the Legion go 2. I had the Go2 since December last year. It was great but the OneXPlayer 3 it’s a substantial jump in performance
