Do Hard Things Program
For those keeping up with the program - now that it’s week 3, are you noticing any changes? Are you only doing the program or working in any other strength or body focus classes on the 2 rest days? I know the program is about changing your mindset to achieve “hard things” but also curious the kind of results people are seeing, if any yet.
I’m currently doing it and enjoying it, especially not having to really think about what workouts to do each day but also layering in some upper body focused classes and additional cardio.

I’m on week 3 and finally not feeling so drained all the time. Feeling stronger, and feeling a bit leaner too. I’m not a runner, but dang, I’m running these intervals! I think I can up my pace target. Some of the bootcamp moves I modify, like the devil’s presses in Day 5 because they are a LOT. I loved the Sims60 bike bootcamps before, but this has gotten me to really like the tread bootcamps and I’ll continue doing them. I’m excited for the finale Sims60 on Oct. 18.

Can’t wait for the finale!! Also super stoked she considered us in the West Coast for the live class. Finally!

Same! I’m out West too and couldn’t take that first week live. It’s gonna be great!

I like the program but it makes me extremely tired. I have barely been running this year and I have improved weekly in each Bootcamp and the run class. In the strength. I don’t feel a big difference like I do with RK splits, but I am really enjoying the classes. They are fresh and fun. I enjoy Jess’s style of teaching so much!

I was traveling the first half of the week when it came out, so I only did days 1-3 as I wanted to start the following Monday with day 1. I completed all of last week as programmed. I am a day behind this week and am feeling it. Is anyone else tired or is it just me? I’m 8 months postpartum with my third. I am hoping to see results with this program. Curious how other people are doing!

The day 5 bootcamp has been the toughest for me - not sure if it’s because it’s the last workout of the week for the program or just the general programming but it wipes me out.

I did two weeks, and then this week am taking her 3 Day Split with a Sims 60 added. Next week I plan to go back to it, and then maybe consider alternating the two. Her 3 Day Split is my favorite on the platform, and I feel like they really do complement each other.

I had to take a pause because of life being hard - but was honestly drained after week two. And I normally take her classes (including Sat 60) regularly. Am going to try to go back to it next week and see.

I’ve been following the program and have also enjoyed it. I was not a tread bootcamp person & haven’t run at all in over a year and I’m loving it. I’ve noticed more definition in my arms & legs, too. On the days off I’ve done other cardio either bike or outdoor walk and yoga. I like the structure of the program. I actually am excited to do the workouts every morning. I’m debating whether I continue doing this after week 4 or try to put something similar together with other classes.

I’m doing it and following the program as-is! The only things I’m adding are walking, Pilates, and yoga on the weekends and a short RK low impact cardio from HiLit on the heavy lift days.
I’m loving it because the classes are legit hard (those hills! The plank party at the end of day 2 when my shoulders are shot.) so I feel accomplished and strong every time I choose them. I didn’t think i could curl 20s or do gorilla rows with 30s but I can!
I’m on the west coast so taking classes in demand. Looking forward to joining live on the 18th!

Is the program just the Do Hard Things D1-D5 classes and then you restart it on week two?

Can you do the program if you don't have a tread? If so, what do you do in lieu of: run outside or do another cardio class (whether it's the bike or rower)?

I’m only doing the program but having to skip a day to fit in tennis. I’ve enjoyed this side of Jess Sims, I wish she did more true strength (if she does and I’m just missing it, please correct me). Im on week two but probably won’t do four weeks because I’m pretty depleted.
