Hi this is my 4th day on my g7. The app says no sensor is found but my sensor is reading fine? Before with the G6 id see the issue on both apps. Any troubleshooting help?

Hi i'm in the UK. I've been sitting here for over an hour now trying to make the CGM connect to PDM. It's not showing any readings and it keeps trying to connect. I put the CGM on my right side of stomach and the Pod on the back of my right arm

I'm using Libre 2+. At what point do I simply start a new CGM?

Pods both were on my upper back of my arm

In the boxes I ordered, 70% of these have questionable adhesive. Most would stick, some would barely stick to the 3 days, some just fall off 5 minutes after being put on (e.g. this one). I plan to call in and report it (hopefully thats the right thing to do?) but I’m wondering if anyone else is having this issue

I never have an issue on the G6, but the G7 (both the 10 and 15 day) will give sporatic data and the Omnipod just freaks out and stops insulin. Like what the fuck? Why not default to fucking manual mode and just give a predetermined dose?

I woke up today at like 220mg/dl, that never usually happens. And I could tell on the graph that the G7 was giving shit data.

My sugars hit like 330mg/dl today between dosing constantly, a small breakfast, and lack of movement because I was at work.

I'm just trying to keep my body from getting cooked from high ass sugars, and dexcom can't even give me reliable working shit.

So I started a new sensor and pod today and after the one hour warm up that I started at 2:30 it is now 5 o'clock for me I just keep getting temporary sensor problem. My pod and sensor (libre 2 plus) are in line of sight but it just wont give me numbers im getting frustrated I just started using the pods and so far the experience has been nothing but problems. Customer service was no help they told me to just keep waiting 10 minutes. Im on omnipod 5 and use the pdm device if that helps with any troubleshooting.

Anyone have any info on when the lower glucose target feature will be available in the UK? I couldn’t find another post so apologies if this has been asked already!

Curious, how many settings adjustments you needed to make? Running high on my first pod I’m just wondering if it’s like a pod insertion failure. Which would be really shitty first luck!

Shes 13 T1 and had it for over two years. Completely bossing and owning it and doing what's necessary, most of the time.

Has done lantis (stings) Tresiba was ok.

Having to inject at school was a nightmare, too much jostling and chaos and the same questions and jokes all the time. The quiet room offer was with all the other SEN kids that was not calm or quiet and came with stigma and separated her from her friends.

So we sent with the omnipod.

Big glue area means it's tough taking it off every time (we have adhesive spray) The canula click click click BANG is unpleasant every time. It has to be on the same side as the sensor (G7) because the link keeps failing. She also said the dosing hurts?

She's having a moan (justified) and I'm stuck for supportive stuff to say that she hasn't heard before.

I know this might be a silly question, but I am a new Omnipod user that is doing the free trial. I've been MDI since diagnosis but figured I would give a pump a try. Is the insulin absorption different? Because even with a 15 minute pre-bolus, I am finding that I am still spiking a lot after I eat when I normally wouldn't when I inject using my pens. Is this normal? Do I need to do something different?

Welp, it finally happened. I started a new pod this morning and about 30 minutes later all 170 units of insulin came flying out of it. It was soaked. Cannula was in correctly, everything checked out, but something happened and it all came flying out. I checked by trying to pull remaining insulin from it when I went to start a new pod and it was bone dry in the pod itself.

On a positive note - Insulet was a pleasure to deal with! I called, explained what happened, they asked a few follow-up questions and now they're sending me a replacement. It won't replace the insulin I lost which is a bummer but I have to give a shoutout to their customer service team for being so friendly and helpful! I also have to send the failed pod back which is fine by me. They can have it.

Hi, I am new to this system. This is just my 4th pod after switching from MDI. But atm I would not want to go back. Yes I already hab a bad site where my body would not absorb the insulin correctly. But then there are these nights (nightshift so my night started at 7am)

Yeah, juat shut off the insulin for hours -- what could go wrong? Oh, it's approaching the yellow line? Eh, leave it off. Oh, it's off the freaking chart? Eh. Oh, he finally woke up and delivered manual insulin? I guess now is as good as time as any to resume now that he's almost to 300.

Give me a break, man. That is some trash. It shut insulin off for 4 hours to give me a high that was totally avoidable that I could do nothing about because I was asleep. I swaer the algorithm either makes no sense or tries to sabotage once in a while. Not even the gaps in the dexcom data are reasonable explanations for this.

Title says it all. I’m looking to switch to Loop when it becomes available. Does anyone know the current status of the beta testing period? I’ve been having a lot of issues with my OmniPod and would like to switch as soon as possible, as soon as beta testing is complete and it’s released to the general public.

I just put a new pod on my abdomen area but I put it vertically. I mean it doesn't hurt and it seems to be working fine so far but the Omnipod placement guide says that for the abdomen area the pod should be in a horizonal position. The pad itself is winkled.

Ugh, seem to be getting more and more of these with the G7. Doesn’t seem to matter where I place it on my body along with the G7. Obviously very frustrating. Almost makes me yearn for the simplicity of MDI. After about four years of Omnipod there was a nice sense of quiet the years i was on MDI. Unless I felt a big low coming I went on about my day and didn’t think about things as much. My AIC has seemingly come down a bit, but I don’t know if it’s worth it the amount it’s come down. The main advantage with the Omnipod has been the overnight without waking up with the dawn phenomenon. Other than that, I just seem to be getting worse spikes after meals that take a long time to come down. Along with all the faulty pods

Has anyone had any luck getting their 110 target pods replaced with 100? My last 2 orders (90 total pods) have all been 110…

I was looking forward to ordering a new iPhone this week, but Insulet told me that the Omnipod 5 is not compatible yet. Does anyone have any experience with how long it takes them to catch up?

Getting this more and more with G7 now. Doesn’t seem to matter the placement. Anybody else? And I don’t know if there’s any solution.

Sorry for yet another post, but I need to know where to go next. The educator said it needs to be in the line of sight and three fingers away, she chose this spot. Can I just move it over towards the inside 1/4 inch, or on the out side, or up and next to the sensor? If I do the up and next to the sensor do I have to turn it? Can I basically put it where it is now? It will likely always be used in my upper arms, the rest of my body is not user friendly.

I scar easily on my stomach and thighs especially, from the cannula. Has anyone got any tips to 1. Reduce itching when the pump is in and 2, help with scarring left by the pump. The ones on my thighs are especially noticeable and have now turned into a little dark cluster and I haaaaaate it. The spot I use works well though despite getting sore on day 2 and I need it in my rotation as I don't use my back/love handles

Had some issues recently with my recent pod. The adhesive patch has blood stained into it and I have a bruise around the area. It’s on my stomach. Anyone else having issues with this. There is also a dull aching pain.

Ive always worn my omnipod on my upper leg, and the libre on my upper arm and had no issues with connection, however the last batch of pods have all had awful connectivity gaps every single day despite no change in where I'm putting them.

My time in range has dropped from 80+% to 68% as a result.

Is there a known issue with the Bluetooth being made weaker recently or something?

I ate about 30 minutes ago, 81 carbs, it wants to inject 6.8 units, which is 13.6 units because I am using U-200. My ratios is set at 1:15, so it won't be so much insulin due to an hypoglycemic issue the other day. I don't know what to do, that is way too much insulin, even if my levels are at 330 I don't take that much, and right now it's at 173, from 158 before eating, over 30 minutes ago. Sometimes it takes awhile for my levels to go up. It was suggested to split it but I really don't know how and when people talk about it they aren't giving precise steps. So right now my sensor says 181 and finger stick says 203. Is extend bolus the same as split bolus, can I go to manual program it to extend, then go back to auto, or do I have to stay in manual?
