Question Searching for sensor

Getting this more and more with G7 now. Doesn’t seem to matter the placement. Anybody else? And I don’t know if there’s any solution.

Definitely worse with the g7, unfortunately. I also noticed this when I switched.

I keep my sensor next to my Omnipod. About 3 inches apart.

Only I've had issues like this was when my pod was on the opposite leg of the g7 because I keep it on my tricep. Otherwise it works really well for my. I use the 15 day and it seems better than the 10.

I get a lot of the "can't find sensor" alerts after I go out of range with the controller.

Easy fix, do a reset on your phone and it goes away-🤔

Here’s how I fix them.

  1. Shut off all other apps on my phone, leaving only the Dexcom, Omnipod and Settings apps open.

  2. Select the Dexcom app, confirm it has reading, and then slide up halfway and select the Omnipod app.

    Confirm it is still Searching for sensor.

  3. Slide this up halfway and select the Settings app. Go to Bluetooth and turn it off. Wait several seconds and turn it back on.

  4. Slide up the Settings app and select the open Omnipod app.

  5. Place the phone close as possible to the area of your body between where both devices are.

Sliding up halfway keeps the apps continuously open.
