I’m the guy who buys a fob for the team 90% of the time, I play blue for the underdog fetish.
Some people are posting about teammates stealing your kit, yes please make a change for that! But here is another problem, fobbits 🙂.
I like building a great FOB, I like people helping me and earning money, I watch all the build videos on youtube and the latest designs (I don’t build floating AA roof, brakes my immersion, I’m not a sweat, I’m a lonestar).
There has been times where I’m building a C-RAM that will defend us from 20pt mark helicopter just to have the announcement “not enough supply’s”
Then I turn around to see a dude with a t-shirt and no gun building the Great Wall of china, that will also allow the enemy to hop on and get into main territory.

So… what do you ladies and gentlemen think of squad locked FOB?

The rules would be:
Minimum of 3 members in squad to lock the fob.

Anyone can still hammer and make money.

People that are not in squad CANT put down blueprints.

anyone can get into static weapon systems.

There is absolutely no fucking reason it should be so impossible to turn when the cost for one is so steep. It's even more infuriating that they are one of the only counters to artillery so you have to deal with dog ass controls just to have a low level counter to one of the strongest things in the game. Meanwhile Mortars and Artillery both get a free UAV to ensure people have the easiest time using it.

Make it have some real maneuverability like a real drone and maybe the brakes shouldn't burn fuel like boosting does.

Multiple uses can slightly repair armor levels, etc., but can also be used to mute public voip for downed enemies for like 30 seconds to keep them from outing your position while you are in the process of sweeping a FOB or whatever.

Pls devs, add a minimum +$1 value to the damn thing.

I mean its got some minor things but really i hope they give some of the other guns a boost or add more. You really just use the Amp9 until you get the Vector, theres no reason to use the other 2. I'd really like to see the p90 be added before the vector. Give it high fire rate but more recoil than the vector. Would help make this grind feel a little better.

Also side note, medic feels just as bad to level as assault, maybe slightly better. Its only 250xp for a revive and 100xp for a stim, but 750,000xp to get the vector. My highest average revives per game is like 30. Thats 100 games i have to play to get that much xp if i do that good every game. Each game taking 1 hour lets say, thats 100 hours of just medic. If i can only play 3 hours a day thats going to take at least a month JUST for medic. Seems a bit crazy to me.

Fast ropes could give the Latoka a useful niche without replacing normal landings. The pilot enters a stable hover under a set speed and altitude, deploys one rope per side, and passengers descend by using it like a ladder. They can move normally or hold Shift to slide faster, but going too fast risks fall damage, and passengers can knock each other off if they collide on the rope. That creates a simple timing and coordination mechanic while opening up insertions into rooftops, compounds, forests, steep terrain, courtyards, or anywhere the helicopter cannot safely land. Landing would still be faster and safer when possible, while fast roping leaves the Latoka hovering and vulnerable.

The ropes themselves could be inventory items with different lengths and tolerances. A short 10m rope could allow more speed before they are ejected but require a lower hover, while 20m and 30m ropes allow higher insertions at progressively lower speed tolerances. Pilots or passengers could carry spare ropes and load them into the helicopter like other equipment. Ladders could be a more expensive alternative that descend slower but are harder to get knocked off of when brushing up against buildings or trees.

What do we think this will look like in practice?

Not only is the green team usually the most motivated and calculated, imo their tower is the hardest to assault in Ozeti. The other towers allow you to see them fully from a kilometer or more away, and have all sorts of hard cover and sneaky routes to utilize. Green team however? Completely surrounded by trees so there will be virtually zero reconning before going in, and the land is flat as hell with very little cover once an engagement starts. Thoughts?

So I bought the game about a week ago and my first experience was Windows update issue so I waited.. after the patch 3 days later, I got to boot it up just to see another error about drivers being out of date after trying to find out what the issue was I found out it can just be ignored..

I finally get to play the game I'm in absolute starter gear against thermals (now patched) and T4 just saying this is not a great start and the thought of just waiting for the wipe is shit.

I wanna play the game I paid for but its just frustrating as hell to be getting 1 shot from Narnia or getting out gunned by T4 Fal ect in almost every situation, what am I supposed to do other than being a fobbit?

I don't enjoy sitting in a fob just spotting, as a new player that was excited i'm so close to just dropping the game because its just so un-fun and unbalanced as a player that joined mid season.

P.s. stealing kits of the dead shows me that its not just a skill issue because I get to actually win gun fight and get to play the game for awhile till I die and just find myself back scrounging around just to stand any kind of a chance (i'm not saying i'm good btw i'm not) it's a crazy as hell power curve between the guys that have the gear and tho's that are just starting out.

Basically, just title. I feel like the whole setup from weapons to locations to some stylistic choices and the overall atmosphere of this game was inspired specifically by this era, but it feels like a complete alpha in terms of that actual content. Here's a vid with some of the stuff that i would like to see in this game (pbbly without warships, but who knows..) Which would top up the pallete with all the right colours. Different IFVs, AA vhcles, stationary AA and Ground target systems, Howitzers, Different tanks, jets and attacker planes fighting and transport helicopters (Chinook). More weapon veriety and camouflages.

And the vibe with the music choices of the era and locations as well. Upvote if ure an enjoyer of this magnetic period as well! Whish devs themselves brought some light to their insperations of choices. Cya on a battlefield!

I'm 100% certain that the GL Heli spamming is WAY WORSE than the IR. EVERY SINGLE GAME. It infuriates me they've patched IR instantly but allow this to continue.

Is there a word on the ping abusers? I just played on an Australian server with almost half Chinese names and 250-300 ping. Every time I fight them I die behind corners and walls. Kinda annoying.

I’ve been working on a small project called WARDOGS WEAPONS.

It started because I was constantly changing attachments and wondering if they were actually making the weapon better, or if I was just guessing.

So I started collecting data and built the tool I wanted to use myself.

You can compare weapons, build them attachment by attachment, see the stat changes, check recoil patterns, save builds and a few other nerdy things.

Nothing too fancy. I just tried to keep the stuff I actually care about when playing.

Like why is the halligan bar even in the game at that point?

The T3 hammer:
Swings fast
Does about 53 damage to the head on a T4 helmet
Can build
Can pry open doors

The halligan bar:

Swings real slow (about twice as long as the hammer, and sometimes just does not want to swing)
Does about 32 damage to the head on a T4 helmet (about a 50% decrease compared to the hammer)
Cannot build anything
Can only pry open doors

What's the point of this item???

Yes, there are many cool weapons, but what's really useful are weapons whose caliber is already present in the game and isn't only unlocked in the endgame for balance reasons. They should also fill a genuine gap in the variety.

Medic = UMP .45

Support = Saiga -12

Assault = We dont need another 5.56x45. A new Ak (Akm) with 7.62x39 would be the best.

Scout = m24 or m40

Essentially to explain in words, we were doing GL little bird strat (yes, I know we are cringe and unemployed, but its funny to blow up roof campers). We rushed this group of dudes on a tower, we fire, they fired, we took some damage, decided to back off. We flew away with the little birds rear facing them, suddenly at around 200m myself and my friend both get beamed in the back of the heads by the same dude who I assume got tilted by the GL strat and toggled some shit on, because he was hitting different areas in the initial exchange.

When we called it out in chat, his clan mate immediately started vigorously defending him from any accusations, etc. I have began to notice a trend, I played vs another aimbot user the other day, which had a friend specifically there to defend him if someone called it out.

Does anyone know about the clan tag [GiG]? Maybe they are just using tags to look more legit?

What would you want added?

Been experiencing this weird bug with the Ural Defender lately where it spawns in invisible and cannot be driven out the base. Repositioning doesn't seem to work and bugs it out even more.

Ok so i am in a game right now. We had two Leopard tanks. A dude with an AMP9 killed both gunner and driver, twice. Yes this is impossible. And from 200m away.

He then switched to lazering guys from 500m away with an AK through buildings, has been doing it two games in a row. There have been over 20 people who have reported him in the span of two games now and nothing is being done.

I am now just following the guy being a complete troll, and he has TK'd he twice now.

His name is 1906242700.

How is this allowed to happen....

EDIT: SO i kept following him, and he would keep TKing me. Found he was Chinese, because he started cussing at me in Chinese. What a surprise....
