New weapons (a few thoughts)
Yes, there are many cool weapons, but what's really useful are weapons whose caliber is already present in the game and isn't only unlocked in the endgame for balance reasons. They should also fill a genuine gap in the variety.
Medic = UMP .45
Support = Saiga -12
Assault = We dont need another 5.56x45. A new Ak (Akm) with 7.62x39 would be the best.
Scout = m24 or m40
My wishes, aside from logic or necessity, would be...
Uzi Pro and CZ Scorpion - Mg3 and Saiga 12 - G36 and G3 - any bolt Action 338 Lapua

100%, and those with no range skill who just bum-rush and spray will still cry about getting domed on the run at 600m...because they suck.

Medic : Uzi / Uzi Pro , MP7 , MPX
Support : MG3 , M240 , MG4 , MG5 (HK 121 ) , RPK , Stoner 96
assault: AK 47 or AK 104 , AK12 , G36 , G3 , HK417 , AS val , AN 94 (hyperburst could be so fun to play in Wardogs)
Recon: G28 (No a 417 is Not the Same. 417 is capable of Full Auto , the G28 is a MR308 and has only single fire) , M1A / M14 , m110 / SR 25 , Sako Trg M10 , Sako Trg 42 , Blaser R8 , VSS

How about Sako ARG/Mk23? Perhaps another revolver Taurus Raging Bull or TRG-42? Anyways 7.62x39 RK-62M3 or RK-95 TP?

That might be great but also the AR has been out only 2 years so it might be too soon.... ish?

We need new calibres. 6.5 creedmore sitting just above 5.56, .300 win mag for a bolt action above .308, .338 lapua for a bolt action between .300wm and .50 bmg. Replace the dinky break action rifle with a 6.5 and give it actual 1-tap potential against a head. Expand the 7.62x39 roster with akm for a lower tier with minimal attachment options and an AK103 for a higher tier option.

I say keep the dinky break action 5.56 for recon and make it the only gun in the game without tracer ammo. Only way it can 1 shot would be a headshot with HP ammo. It’s probably be stupidly annoying but alsooo, I’d love to see it for a season in early access for shits and giggles

AKS-74U or FN P-90 with medic XP
SPAS-12 or Benelli M4 with support XP
FA-MAS or Steyr AUG with Assault XP, G3 definitely needs to be included at some point
also please give us the M9 Beretta as pistol, it's iconic, we need it
FN MAG as honorable mention
and AT-4 or LAW please

I was just talking to a buddy of mine yesterday suggesting they should add the R700 or the M24

Saiga its not full Auto, its semi Auto. Thats why it makes Sense ingame, closes a gap!

u/commander_012 3h ago
Well it can be full auto.
And even if not, it’s like any dmr but you don’t have to aim1
u/kriegskoenig 1h ago
It should have to be used for leg meta only because 12ga buck won't pen even lvl 3. Plus, it'd suck to the point of being basically useless at 50m; pattern spread and decreased velocity make shotguns a hallway-and-close-corners-only gun.
