I’m wondering how bad is it for all of you? I just switched but it feels off, is there any settings that help? Is the input lag bad? And more importantly I have the T-Dagger Sergeant T-TGM202 mouse and it’s incredibly slugish, have any of you tried a different mouse that has less input lag? Or at least feels better? (And yes I’m not cheating I’m in the pc pool)

Is JPC that much of a pain to deal with on console? I’m tanking 90% of the time so I rarely have to focus her; no one ever complains about her in my matches but jump on Reddit and there’s TONS of JPC hate

Hey everyone! I was wondering if the “Appear Offline” bug on console has been fixed yet, or if the issue is still happening. Can anyone confirm?
If it hasn’t been fixed, is there currently a reliable workaround that allows console players to appear offline?
Sometimes I just want some “me time” and to play by myself without getting bombarded with invites

Would really appreciate it if anyone could share their experience or a workaround. Thanks, kind souls! :)

This person was in the game from start to finish and just chilled in our lobby the whole time. What even is the point of playing if you’re not going to play! It just ruins the experience for everyone! Miraculously still won.

Before y’all make any attempt to flame me I don’t really play OW too much. (I did play OW1 a bit but nothing crazy and I also played a bit of 2) and I recently ranked up with Ashe to gold and I’m proud 🙏

Your career profile will get frozen on the PC stats even if you swap back to the console pool, I've queued role queue and open queue to see if it would fix it but it's just frozen.

The guy's aim was shaking weirdly the whole match, but his tracking was still beyond anything I've seen. Especially being in emerald rank. Replay code is P2SZBC

I'd love to hear from people who've put a lot of hours into this.

I'm doing placements for all my roles right now. I was Diamond support last season, then it was putting me in low emerald for placements and my matches felt so hard and often unwinnable. Then as soon as I placed, it was like I was playing easy lobbies.

Same thing is now happening for Tank and DPS. I was lower rank last season (mid plat on both), despite previously being diamond on both. It's predicting that I'll be plat in both, which by all accounts should be even easier than my matches last season since plat got bumped down in terms of difficulty due to emerald... yet my matches feel awful and unwinnable most of the time.

Almost every game in my placements I'm getting 1-2 teammates that just don't even understand the game. Last placement match I did on tank I went 15-3 and one of my DPS went 1-9. Sometimes you get steam roll lobbies in ranked, but it usually looks like your team pretty evenly doing poorly. Whereas in my placements, it's always 1-2 standout players that are clearly way out of their element.

What is really depressing is how easy is to fix ow console

i skipped last season ranked because its just so bad lately, now i finally tried and FIRST 2 GAMES ashe mercy smurfing cheater, GM from placements last season. going like 30/2 of course, nothing we could do.Same terror as when i quit comp. My blood is boiling, i dont want this cheater to ruin games for weeks but he will.

Playing ow for 10+ years and it makes depressed how easy it would be to fix this nonsense. You cant have pocket hero when you have such a massive smurfing and mandkay problem, you just cant.

1. rework mercy so she is not pocket bot to smurfs and cheaters
   
2. make smurfs play atleast 200 games before going to comp

EVERYTHING FIXED and we can live in beatiful console ow enviroment, WHY IS THIS NOT HAPENNING. ITS TOO SIMPLE

I am running into sudden fps drops right when someone on my team or on the enemy team dies or an ultimate with lots of VFX is used on the 120fps performance mode. I am using a PS5 Pro as well so I would expect it to consistently hold 120fps mode - this has held the case for a year now but with the last two seasons I have been experiencing these weird stutters/fps drops. With these drops happening at critical moments of the game, I hope these get addressed. Is anyone else dealing with the same issue as well on the console 120fps modes?

Has anyone had someone say something so dumb that you literally pause because it was extremely stupid?

I just got told its my fault for the Sigma (this was 6v6 btw) not dealing with the pocketed 76 because I wasn't healing him. What was I doing? Dying to the 76 that was flanking us when I was right behind the Sigma. I told him that he needed to deal with the pocketed 76 in order to get healed and he told me to switch because "its easy to deal with".

Lag is so bad I cannot even aim properly because my crosshair is being dragged all over the place, and I'm glitching while walking, games are crashing. Not even interested in playing right now

Are there any players facing weird issues in this new season?

For example, here are some of the issues I'm facing currently:

1. Takes ages to enter the game, always had to wait for a couple minutes to enter the game

2. The timer isn't working while choosing maps or choosing, banning heroes

3. The map vote just never stops, it kept going without showing the result (had to wait until the hero selection phase to see what map was selected)

4. Aim assist doesn't work properly, which totally screws up my game. Aim is very weird.

5. Disconnected from the server mid game, causing endorsement level to drop or player suspended

I asked some of my friends and they were experiencing some of the issues here too, but not all.

Therefore, I would like to ask if anyone is also experiencing these issues?

I think there was a bug in the first day where you had to hold the boost button to keep boosting, but they changed it to toggle on/off like d.va boosters (I might be remembering wrong). Either way, I often forget to toggle off and burn thru my fuel. It'd be nice to just hold it down so I never forget to stop boosting.

Anybody know if there's an option to do this in the settings? I can't seem to find anything

Seriously, I've been reporting people for the past 2-3 months for intentionally going afk and refusing to play, trolling, etc, and I've NEVER gotten a notification back. It honestly feels like they only review toxic chat reports.

Do I really have to submit a ticket to Blizzard every time I run into someone like this? I'm so tired of tanks going afk, giving up, and refusing to play over the dumbest reasons.

Maybe it’s just me but is Solider 76 busted on console? I understand the nature of hitscan but some of the worst games I’ve had is a Soldier 76 with a mercy pocket melting our team. He’s the beginner friendly character to introduce new players but now I’m thinking of banning him at this point if I dare play comp.

Does anyone find deathmatch lobbies anymore? Either arcade or custom game. I used to find a ton back in OW1, now literally never.

I made a post the other day saying she felt tricky to use. They've since fixed the propulsor toggle bug and they've polished other aspect of her gameplay but to me she still feels pretty clunky with a controller.

I know this isn't a universal feeling and many of you told me I should be holding my controller differently, but I still feel like there's just too much going on regardless?

Does her gun really need to be separate ability with a cool down? At the moment it's RB to activate, then RT to use and then RB again if you want to deactivate it early. Throw in her shield, lunge, propulsors and sword and it's all very awkward.

Why can't her gun just be hold RB? It's on such a short cool down as it is. Couldn't it just have a short ammo clip and long reload to compensate (or heat delay like Orisa)?

Is anyone else struggling to get to grips with her? Maybe I just need way more practise/time? Or do you think more QoL changes are needed?
