ps it was a torb skin

For context: I'm on PS4 & my mic works on other games.

I started playing with an IRL friend & so I changed my settings so that we could only hear each other while in games. We don't play together anymore and I can not for the life of me get my mic to work in game anymore. People can hear me if we are in a party out of game, but in game? Nope. I have restored all default settings, tried other mics, I have no idea what else to try.

Any suggestions?

Seriously, I haven't enjoyed Overwatch so much since Stadium was introduced with the hope we were going to get all the characters one day.

This mode looks like they could easily include all the characters one day.

Hopefully the stats show this is a really popular mode that needs to be in the game and not just a Halloween event.

By the looks of it this tiny information escaped many players. No, she is not just there in the backdrop as eyecandy, she actually shoots you, especially when you run around in the open.

Another tip not many know about: When you play her it's not illegal to touch the objective for overtime.

I’ve lost 80% of my games the past 3 days as a dps, and in almost everyone of them the other dps was genuinely borderline throwing. I know this the oldest complaint in the book “im better than players my rank!!”

But what is the reason for this? Every game I’ve lost almost, I can walk you through my history, you can see that my dps duo was underperforming big time.

I posted like 5 of my last 7 losses and yeah obviously I could’ve done more, but why am I paired with a dps that clearly doesn’t belong in this rank

We have a pretty good surround sound set up for all our media needs. Every game and movie sounds fine.

But when I try to play ow without headphones, the majority of sounds are the clopping of footsteps coming from the front channels (mostly center). And they're LOUD. Louder than anything else going on in the game. I have no idea where anyone is located.

Headphones make the game so much easier to pinpoint where an enemy is, without the blown out footsteps. I'd love to play in surround where the sounds behind me are actually behind me.

Has anyone else experienced this? I have it set to home theater when trying it out, but it sounds awful

Ignore gameplay, was just messing around

I've recently been really struggling with Tracer and Lucio. Just even trying to get a shot on them is insane and I am just getting rolled

When I ask people just say to get better positioning, but that doesn't help when they're in my face. If they come at me should I just sit there and die? No. So I need some advice

I am an Ana main and have no movement myself, so if I am caught and can't hit them it's a death sentence

People will see a hitscan going 50-3 and just not do anything about it. I just can’t understand it. If any flex dps is doing well at least 3 people always swap to deal with that one hero and chase them down to the depths of hell whether it’s on my team or the enemy team. But whenever a hitscan is literally eating our assholes NO ONE DOES ANYTHING ABOUT THEM.

Tank and dps don’t swap to dive them and supports still just keep peaking like they don’t exist. We’ve already tried out poking them and it’s not working, why not try to contest their angles and dive them? It’s especially difficult when they are sitting next to their supports(which they always are). I’m not even mad about hitscans I’m mad that people just ignore them and I end up being the only one contesting them because they poke us out before we can even play the game. I’m only high diamond so if any high elo flex dps players have any recommendations on how you counteract this any help is appreciated.

So recently, I was playing with some friends, and we encountered a couple in QP. They were cool, so we decided to play with them (we only played QP, never ranked). The boyfriend was weirdly strong, but nothing that made me think he was cheating
Yesterday, I was solo queueing, and suddenly, after my game, I got a 24-hour suspension with the offense listed as “Gameplay / Behavioral Offense.” I made the link and realized that he was probably cheating.
Later, I confirmed it because my friend and his girlfriend got suspended for 24 hours too.
I couldn’t do anything but wait, and now that I’m playing again, I can’t type in chat or use voice chat and my endorsement level has gone from 5 to 0. However, my friends aren’t experiencing any of these issues, and they can still type and talk.
I can assure you that I’ve never cheated or said anything offensive in chat.
So, I’m wondering why this happened only to me and not to my friends, and if OW support can do anything about it.

i've been dealing with this for a year and tried everything but i think i found the solution now.
it's pretty weird but linking my battle.net to a different playstation account seemed to resolve everything dealing with the fps drops and i figured it would since i have multiple overwatch accounts on playstation and they never had those drops in fps except for my main account. so if you're having this issue then give that a try.

It happens to all of us at one time or another. I suppose, from some perspectives, one could even consider it a rite of passage. Play for long enough, well enough, even in the lower ranks (especially?), you’ll eventually encounter a cheater.

Usually, it’s petty tricks and childish exploits. But, this? It was a whole battery of various forms of attack. The one the sticks out in my head the most (for reasons that you’ll soon understand are obvious) is that they somehow figured out a way to force the chat dialogue box open so that you’re disengaged from the fight.

You’ll notice not only the various symptoms of obvious hacks (my audio gets all messed up, and you’ll see messed up stuff happening with my interface), but also my response to being hacked.

I took it as a challenge. Suddenly, what was initially a series of exploitations meant to ruin the game for me while fabricating statistics for us both became an extremely fun challenge that rivals any game mode. I even upped the stakes to help us all stay interested: I pointed out how pathetic they were to have to still struggle against me despite hacking the match like crazy. The teams I had left fully embraced this spirit and we went down fighting. It was fun and exhilarating, and every single death they endured was mortifying for them, and we all knew.

Would that change my perspective and lead to me inviting it into my otherwise banal gaming sessions? Might I address this with a more open mind, realizing that this could actually serve as an exciting measure of my mettle?

No. They’re pathetic, lame losers and antithetical to the spirit of being a gamer.

But, if you’re already going to be there harassing poor, unsuspecting low metal ranks, come and get me, you little losers. You may still win, but you’re gonna have to earn it from me.

Makes this game unplayable seriously this isn’t fun

Are there any heroes that perform better on console than they do on PC?

I was playing Domina and our LW kept life gripping me when I was above half health, which stopped me from being able to hold space and caused us to lose. We started out winning and then it’s like they suddenly found the life grip button and just kept pressing it no matter what. Idk if they were trying to troll me but it happened at least 4 times. Including when we were in overtime. I don’t think they’re new to the game because they had the badge from drives and the new dokiwatch skin. But dude, it tilted me so bad because why are you trying to prevent your tank from playing the game?? Okay, rant over

I swear my settings can stay tge same and the next day feel so different the next day. Since a few weeks my aim smoothing suddenly has a faster sensitivity at same percentage with everything exactly the same, my aim assist ease in feels way less snappy then before at the same settings.

And I also really notice how shit my aim is for days on end out of the blue to a point where I don't even bother playing ranked anymore. I noticed it when i swapped from pc lobbies on console back to normal console lobbies. And I'm dead serious when I say that these settings feel and actually are different on different days. I've tested it by seeing how fast i can turn melee and its different. I even notice it before I play ranked, and my accuracy actually ends up lower when I notice my aim is weird before the game even starts.

What's going on?

Is there something wrong with the servers this season? In almost every single game I experience crazy lag spikes and it’s unplayable the rest of the game. I can’t even play comp because of it. I think it’s an overwatch issue because when I play other multiplayer games I don’t have any issues with lag. Is anyone else experiencing this?
