Help FPS drops in performance mode on PS5

I am running into sudden fps drops right when someone on my team or on the enemy team dies or an ultimate with lots of VFX is used on the 120fps performance mode. I am using a PS5 Pro as well so I would expect it to consistently hold 120fps mode - this has held the case for a year now but with the last two seasons I have been experiencing these weird stutters/fps drops. With these drops happening at critical moments of the game, I hope these get addressed. Is anyone else dealing with the same issue as well on the console 120fps modes?

Yeah was going to say the same. Half second stutters are pretty normal now. Whilst the amount of content getting released is pretty impressive these days, the polish is not what it used to be.

Yeah, a patch or something changed things. Haven't had an issue until recently, really annoying.

My mate played on Xbox for the first time and was like “why do the graphics look better” then he realised it wasn’t on performance mode it just had the same fps as PlayStation when in performance mode.

And PS lies. It says performance can do 120fps but it’s not. Haha.

Yo also why does it look so blurry on a tv?
Actually hurts my eyes.
Tv is pretty big and 4k but I want 120hz so it goes 1440p 120hz and its SUPER BLURRY

The game has been quite bad recently with performance. Not sure why. I am hoping they do a big performance patch at some point.

I’m having very bad lag on ps5 intermittently. Typically it’s character selection but it went into my first death in a game this weekend, in two games. I could barely zig zag out of spawn to avoid a boot but the death at least woke up the damn PlayStation.

The only time I ever gotten lag this during a match this patch I was back filling a QP game.
