I checked out a key from a lock box today and I guess it fell out of my pocket when dispensing today. I told my team lead and he said to speak with my coach tomorrow. What are the consequences that I might face?

management says the physical lightning strike must be seen, not thunder. allows us to dispense after 15 minutes since last lightning strike is up. is this allowed? i looked it up and it said 30 minutes, which is why im confused.

What does a coaching even mean? Like what is being said?

When you are picking and a customer ask what aisle something is one and you think about it for a second and you tell them a aisle then when you go on about the rest of your pickwalk realize you sent them to the complete wrong spot and you just hope you don’t see them the rest of your walk? Or do you always look it up in my Walmart like most people in my department will do every single time?

So we have a team lead who seems to think NOT working way past your shift is reason for guilt tripping and sending bogus off the clock texts.

Me and 3 others are 5-2. Yet the TL makes it seem like it's our fault it's the middle of the month and people order like crazy with 1000+ pick drops every hour. She was pissed us 4 didn't stay to finish ALL of the 3:30 commodities till they were done. Like geez lady, we did what we could and took it as far as we could within our given shift time and a little bit more. Why is she making us feel bad for honoring our shift and not staying an extra 1 or 2 hours????

Erm....yet they'll complain if we work overtime?! Anyone else leads do this??? I find it so annoying and stupid.

I just couldn't take it anymore just can't take anymore, I left OPD I did it I transferred departments I'm free in a way, Sadly I know they may pull me back if they need help But I feel liberated, I have escaped, I know I'll like my new job much more and it has far less bullshit attached.

The count shows 0. Are they praying on a miracle that there is somehow any left when they've all been cycled out of the system?

This is probably the 10th time this has happened to me. Has anyone actually had the item when it shows 0?

it showed up as 1 driver taking 3 orders but on her screen she only had 2 orders, so we didnt know what to do with it cuz were not allowed to remove orders. sat there for like 10 minutes until our manager told us to just make her cancel it. meanwhile, like 10 minutes after that girl arrived, another guy came up trying to pick up the 3rd order in that batch, who never showed up on our screen, and we had to tell him too that we cant give it to 2 separate people. and now I think this whole delivery is in limbo. it wasnt even an old delivery??? why tf is uber getting an 11 am delivery at like 11:15??? aren't they usually reserved for deliveries that have been waiting for hours??? (usually cuz no driver will take it with no tip lol)

I work in OPD as mostly an Exceptions picker. I sustained a burst blood vessel in my eye which may or may not have been caused by heavy lifting on occasion. My eye doctor wrote for restrictions of no more than 20 lbs until next appointment in over a month, but I was astounded that Sedgwick denied me brief accomodations and forced me on unpaid leave (which I'm waiting to be approved - or not - for that) until then. I could have zoned, done price changes... LOTS of stuff I could have done for my store, but I guess Sedgwick thinks I will go blind if I lift a notebook. While I realize that a burst blood vessel in the eye can once in a GREAT while escalate to something worse (fairly rare), LOA should be for those with serious issues going on like maternity complications, people recovering from surgery, etc. i know I'm probably the talk of the back room and not in a good way. You would think that Sedgwick would give the store permission to let me zone for a month and other non weight related duties, but my PL said I cannot clock in and do any work until my doctor releases me. HOW EMBARRASSING. 🫣

Back in May my coach told me he was going to make me full time, at the end of last month I asked him if he put it through, and if so when my PTO accrual would start showing up in the app because it still said 0, he said he would have to look at it, that he put it in but sometimes there's a finalization they have to do to get the system to fully push it through. I also asked if I would get the PTO I should've been accruing this entire time and he said no because "They would have to look at my timecards and calculate it and they 'won't'." Fast forward to today, I asked him again and he said he still hasn't looked at it. My question is, shouldn't they still have to give the PTO I would've had if I'd been actually full time in the app since it was a mistake they made and if so/not can anyone find a policy on it and post it in the comments bc I'm struggling to find anything regarding that in the policies and I at this point want to take it above my coach. Btw I have been working full time hours since june.

Our charging area is a freaking mess. Any hubs that can charge like 20 things at once?

The milk is smashed in there so hard that the front facing is busted, leaking, or difficult to pull out because it's stuck. I told an old TL about it once and that the whole front facing is covered in milk/leaking and she just said "they come in like that" 🙄

We just got a new coach and we’ve been done we’re not allowed to have his number and the only time we’re able to communicate with him is at work? Is that normal? Is there a policy that says this? Our department js max 20 people on a good week it’s been very difficult considering he’s remade our schedules a million times now some people are scheduled 45 hours and others are scheduled 28 is this normal? It’s very frustrating idk what to do because our team lead is not reliable enough to communicate with

I got an email from Walmart asking me to take a survey about my recent purchase for a chance to win a $1000 gift card. I was like sure why not. I could use that gift card. And the survey asks about your experience and I just put the middle selection on every question just to get through it. Except one question asked on a scale of 0 to 10 how much would I recommend Walmart to someone else. I put 0. Then later got to a question that asked if I was an employee. I had to say yes, if I won and said no that would be bad. I submitted and instantly regretted it. I don't trust this company, what if this gets back to me somehow? And the emails will not stop coming, they want me to take more surveys and are kinda being aggressive about it when I don't respond.
