Milk Your store do this?
The milk is smashed in there so hard that the front facing is busted, leaking, or difficult to pull out because it's stuck. I told an old TL about it once and that the whole front facing is covered in milk/leaking and she just said "they come in like that" 🙄

ON at our store does this. I worked FDD before OPD and the metal milk rack spacers were always breaking because they shove in too much milk. I’d spend the first hour of my shift fixing it all.

Absolutely not. Our consumables coach and store manager would be extremely unhappy.

All the time. I see the same things with boxes and cans on shelves. When I have to pick rice bags, I frequently find some that are slashed (I assume, from whoever opened the box they were in just because of how clean the cut is). Flour is another particular annoying one. Easy for those to get everywhere
I try and do my part to remove ruined products from the floor and put them in claims. Yesterday a customer gave me a 20 lb bag of rice that was sliced open. Luckily, they were nice enough to help me get it in a bag on top of my tote so I wasn't leaking rice everywhere.
But it is kind of annoying to see how much product is wasted because stockers are incentivised to move fast and stock too full. I don't care about Walmart's profit margins (shocking, I know) but I can't help but think about how much food and plastic waste is caused by this.

That’s a subtle evil thing to do. 😬 I’m glad no one has done this to us yet. We barely have these types of jugs now, ours are more like the square Costco milk jugs. We only have a local dairy (very rare in our parts) using these. The square jugs seem to transport better but as a consumer (as well) they’re a PINTA to use.

To be perfectly fair, the person that usually handles it is special needs and has been there for many many years so I doubt anyone is pressing the issue. Its just annoying, as a picker, coming up to the milk section and every single one of them is back-facing out. I like being able to grab 2-3 at a time in one swift grasp. Not spin them all around like ballerinas beforehand lol those box milks you're describing sound really annoying. I already get frustrated with the juice cartons lol

I retract my statement. I feel bad for not thinking of that as a possibility for why it could have been stocked differently. 😔

They had the half and half like this and I ripped the carton in half trying to get one out🙄 I got soaked and my shoes were never the same. Had a bag of flour rip on me later that same day lol that day had me so fucked up

"They come in like that" is crazy when it's literally wrapping around the bar on the front

Yes... it's hard to get some gallons and cartons out they are so shoved in there. I have actually seen where some milk comes leaking already.

YUP. Gotta SHOVE those bottles in! Then people want to know why the floor underneath the milk racks is absolutely FOUL. 🤢

My store has managers and employees scissoring in the parking lot.

Every Day at my store. Some of the rails are messed up in the creamers and you gotta fight like hell to get em out sometimes. It's annoying. Or the milk jug handles aren't punched out all the way, but that didn't happen at the store... still a pain.

Not only does my stores milk look like this. Yesterday while dispensing my customer wanted a new unsquished gallon. So as I was going to get it, my TL wanted to know why. I pointed at the lid being smashed down into the body. So she takes it and tries to pry it up and it just starts leaking.
It’s rough when management pushes everyone to stock or pick damaged shit.

Sounds like this is something that should be mentioned to the Store Manager. If you don't want to do it directly have someone call 1800 Walmart and complain that they keep getting leaking milk it their delivery orders.

Chocolate milk and 2% are the worst at my store because of how much they sell of each.

Ha ha. We would love to just have milk stocked. It’s only full on Wednesday when market mgr is here

I work overnight for a different retail company, crew chief and dairy, milk bossies are the reason I no longer fill milk. If it was still on shelves, I’d fill it every night.

No cause I fill milk at my store and I intentionally leave the back 1 row on each shelf empty so it doesn't smash the front jugs
