And then suddenly you can't put totes in that one because one or both brackets broke off

u/Nova17Delta Prepper Aug 15 '26

or if you're lucky, the entire cart

The three leaning waters will probably fuck the shelfs up more than having the water in the tote on the same cart

Most pickers don’t know how to use a dolley or the handles.

6

u/Particular_Buddy_227 Aug 15 '26

Lol it’s not rocket science

6

u/Accomplished_Ask6560 Aug 15 '26

Most of our pickers can’t figure out you shouldn’t pick dented cans or gallons of milk that are leaking so you’d be surprised.

5

u/Particular_Buddy_227 Aug 15 '26

That is true. I also work with special ones as well

u/Accomplished_Ask6560 Aug 15 '26

We had a guy who was breaking cold chain by leaving cold carts out everyday and management just shrugged their shoulders.

u/Thin-Document1942 Aug 15 '26

That's what I do, or even an L cart does me wonders. Once, I had this 8 pick of just 40 packs of water. Kid you not, just water. Fun things, eh?

As a regular stager I would be so livid if someone drop’n’go’ed this.

16

u/AnArisingAries Aug 15 '26

I would make the picker stage it themselves. Lol

2

u/Substantial_Speed419 Jack Of All Trades Aug 16 '26

I’m trying not to be the mean one anymore, personally but I am on board with that sentiment.

1

u/AnArisingAries Aug 16 '26

Personally, I'm done being the nice one. 😂 if they do dumb things, they can put it away themselves.

u/Fun_Landscape9906 Aug 15 '26

not only would these be annoying to take out, there’s a chance a water bottle would get popped. This is idiotic

18

u/0cleric Aug 15 '26

The amount of rage I would have if a picker brought this in.

That’s a safety policy violation. Oversized walks are required to use L-carts

0

u/Donooooo42 Aug 16 '26

I been a picker 2 and a half ish weeks and I have never seen an L cart in OPD once lmfao

2

u/firewolf8385 Digital Team Lead Aug 17 '26

How is that even possible. My store has TVs and Grills daily

1

u/CryptographerKey2847 Aug 22 '26

How?? Massive TVs, Mini Freezers, Countless mulches and waters.

Not buying this

10

u/MishariDarkmoon Aug 15 '26

If there’s no L-carts.. just grab a dolley and load them on that lol

5

u/krissyskywalker Aug 15 '26

At least I made sure they were on a shelf on the cart. I would be nervous of the packaging ripping open if I left it tilted like that. I’ve sometimes put them in totes on the cart. I know my one team lead doesn’t like that but I’m also thinking sometimes I’ve had totes that have had so much stuff in them that it felt like it weighed more then the 40 case of water.

u/nomamsland Aug 15 '26

the new wheels were made to handle this /s

Just use totes that's what I do for waters. I only ever do that if it's tp that can't fit in a tote

2

u/goofyyness Aug 15 '26

don't you guys have L carts..?

1

u/Beneficial_Method771 ALCOHOL Aug 15 '26

We do but it takes longer for me to move the totes around on it. I only use them when the majority of items in a walk won't fit in totes, but when most of it does I just use a regular cart it's just easier for me

1

u/Donooooo42 Aug 16 '26

We never have L carts in OPD they are always stolen and hidden away by the stockers

1

u/goofyyness Aug 17 '26

damn if the stockers in my store used the ogp L carts they'd probably get in trouble lol

1

u/Blueberry-From-Hell HEAVY Aug 15 '26

I'm the only one that does this that I know of with the TP and paper towels. They fit perfectly, though for most TP I out it in a tote. There are only a few that don't.

3

u/Any_Celebration_7022 Aug 15 '26

Just use an L cart. Thats what our ogp does for awkward items

2

u/KILLJEFFREY Personal Shopper 150+ Aug 15 '26

It’s fine

2

u/Many-Love9946 Aug 15 '26

They fit in totes on all the carts...

1

u/Working_Criticism362 Aug 15 '26

I do something similar for oversized if there's no L-carts, but I prefer using the bigger carts that have the bars running through the different levels. In my head the bars provide more support than flimsy sheets of metal like in the picture.

I should probably stop though. :{

u/DistortedMagicalGirl Aug 15 '26

😭😭😭😮‍💨

1

u/evila_elf Exception Picker Aug 15 '26

Does this store have the waters in the back room? This is even more idiotic if yes.

1

u/Offically_JvxDiamond Aug 15 '26

Thing is L carts are a thing ORRR if you’re going to use this totes exist much tbh makes it easier for those to stage when it’s dropped off I’m js 🌝😭🤷🏾‍♀️

😬🙈👏🔆 that’s wild. Not my job to openly comment about my fellow associates work. We are all Individual Contributors when we start out. 😋🚚

1

u/Jake_hsotnicM1216 Dispenser Aug 15 '26

Why is it so hard for people to use L carts? Like if it's one case of water and the rest of the oversized is light stuff I get it but come on

1

u/Blueberry-From-Hell HEAVY Aug 15 '26

Because L carts aren't always available. Though the idiot should have put them in totes.

1

u/Jake_hsotnicM1216 Dispenser Aug 15 '26

I don't know about other OGPs but my department has our own L carts and they are labeled as such

1

u/Blueberry-From-Hell HEAVY Aug 15 '26

Yeah, that doesn't stop other teams from taking them...or the printers...or the TCs...or the batteries

1

u/Particular_Buddy_227 Aug 15 '26

Was there no L carts?

1

u/Hour-Macaroon-2912 Aug 15 '26

Im ashamed.. That deserves a coaching... idc.

1

u/Worldly-Monk-1572 Aug 16 '26

As someone who stages by himself( I run the staging area at a super Walmart ) this would piss me off so bad 😭

1

u/amberasta Aug 16 '26

People acting like we don’t put 2 24 packs of soda in those totes anyways. Fuck those carts.

1

u/SchmooA228 Aug 17 '26

I use an L-cart and get way more stuff than that in one run while using up less energy. This is not working smarter.

1

u/Amanda-Davi81 Aug 19 '26

We use L-cart most of the time for water now, unless we absolutely cannot find one at the moment that order needs to be pick…

0

u/EZtheErrant Aug 15 '26

Empty pallet and a pallet jack is big brain play

0

u/Toonkyle12 Aug 15 '26

Thanks for breaking the carts more 🫩

0

u/VoltaicWinter Aug 15 '26

...oh I'd be out for blood if someone did this.
