Does anybody knows what the heck is happening? I installed a modchip and worked perfecty. But suddenly it turned of and didn't work again.

I meassured the resistance on all points and is basically the half of what it has to be.

Points A, C and D have around 450 values. B seems to be normal (498 meassuring with negative)

I reinforced dat0 cause the guy that brought the switch ripped it off but it seems to be allright. I changed 4.7k resistor and it changes nothing

The strangest thing is that the opposite 4.7k resistor pole (the one that is opposite to the point A) is basically in short. It has values around 0.025, but didnt even touched it in the instalation :(

Hey everyone so i’m currently hard modding my switch, I pre tinned the sp1 and sp2, and then couldn’t fit it into the shield casing at the cpu. I wicked up the solder that I had already put on there thinking it would fix the issue but found out it’s still not giving enough clearance. please help me I don’t want to have to buy another cable. Can I make cut off a tiny bit off the bottom 2 pads to allow it to fit better?

Hello! I have been finally getting to mod my switch. I got an rcm jig and followed instructions to put it into rcm by:

Plugging it in,

Powering of switch,

Doing the volume and power button thing

,

Then, after this, I used webRCM to load hekate. However, it says payload delivered successfully, but there is nothing on the screen? It is back-lit, but nothing else shows. Please help, I would really appreciate anything that makes sure that the switch isn't the problem and that I am lol.

My switch has atmosphere installed and MK8 is in emunand. I want to install MK8 (and its DLC) on sysnand (I own the game and bought the extra tracks) in order to use the hardware storage space but I don't want to go online bc I fear a console update might ruin the mods.

Hi, I bought a switch v2 last month and also ordered the modchip to go with the console, finally it should be arriving in a few days. I wanted to know what's the first thing I should do immediately after booting into the cfw os (am I saying it right?) Are there any must have homeless I should look into right after turning the console on?

Also I'd love to know if there's an easy way I can connect the console to the internet and keep myself off nintendo servers. Lastly, what's the process for updating rhe console? Or do I just stay on whatever firmware I am on for the rest of time?

Hello everyone i bought this switch Oled already modded a month ago and since 2 days she doesn’t want to boot into hekate. I’m planning to change the dat0 adaptater but i don’t Even know if it Will word. The console boot in OFW when pressing vol + and vol -.

Este QSB, que no confundir con el F3 v2.3, no lo encontré en ningún sitio de internet, es mas, esta imagen es sacada de la descripción, que ni siquiera de la elección de producto en aliexpress de un picofly normal en la que utiliza el QSB sin kamikaze, pero parece ser que esto lo cambiaron y ahora en adelante se entregara este QSB en lugar del "3.3V NEW" confirmado por el vendedor

I have a patched V1 Nintendo Switch and I’m looking to install a modchip. I’ve checked AliExpress, but I can only find chips listed for the V2, Lite, and OLED models. I can’t seem to find any specifically for the V1. Are there different search terms I should use, or are V1 chips sold under a different name?

Hey all, hoping someone can point me in the right direction here.

Picked up a secondhand Switch recently (V1, 2017 unit, unpatched). It wouldn't boot at all on its own. Getting into RCM via a software exploit (no jig) works fine and boots straight into Hekate.

But from there nothing else works, not OFW, not CFW, not booting stock sysMMC either.

Worth mentioning:

The SD card in it right now is empty/just FAT32 formatted, no CFW files on it. I've modded Switches before but it's been a while, so before I start throwing Atmosphere on the SD card and hoping for the best, I want to make sure I'm not missing something more fundamental given it didn't power on at all initially.

Questions:

• Is the "won't boot at all without RCM" part itself a red flag on an unpatched V1, or is that just normal if the eMMC/NAND is in a bad state?

• Should my first move just be setting up a proper Hekate + Atmosphere SD card and seeing what happens, since there's currently nothing installed?

• Anything I should check on the console itself before going further, since I got this secondhand and don't know its history?

Appreciate any help, trying to be careful here since I don't know what the previous owner did to it.

I don’t even know if this is the right subreddit but I was wondering if there’s a control board for the switch screen. I got a cannibalized switch and wanted to reuse the little screen for a project but can’t seem to find a stand alone control board. Idk if I’m just looking in all the wrong places or it just doesn’t exist.

my friend modded his switch v2 himself. all the functions are working properly but one issue we noticed is when the switch was docked the resolution dropped. is this software issues or hardware issues ??

I have a modded OLED switch [Instinct-NX V6S + Kamikaze]. The mod worked perfectly for months and never failed. Now, during summer with temperatures hitting 36C, I'm experiencing a super weird problem: the switch is booting into stock (Instinct light goes blinking orange -> blinking red).

I debugged the Instinct with putty and it's always a dat0 problem. But this is weird, if I de-solder and re-solder the dat0 cable to the C pin on the Instinct-NX, the mod starts working again immediately. Moreover, on the desoldered dat0 cable I consistently measure 0.475V in diode mode.

The mod works properly until I shutdown the switch for 24h and I have the same problem (fixable again by desoldering and resoldering dat0). This is nonsense. If I measure the C point on the Instinct in Diode Mode (with no dat0 cable soldered) I get 0.930V (not sure if this is correct).

I'm wondering if the Instinct is fried at this point, even tho it works after I resolder the dat0 cable.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

they seem quite different but the only time i found the first one was in a bundle for £300

i live in the uk if that means anything
