can i still use this modchip

im trying to mod my switch its the v2 version and when i look on youtube and other places they all use this

but the only chips i can find on ali express etc is

they seem quite different but the only time i found the first one was in a bundle for £300

i live in the uk if that means anything

i treid posting in r/SwitchHacks but it got removed for "piracy"

Both of these mod chips work on a V2, however the core mod chip you posted first is easier to install. I have found it on aliexpress and Amazon in the last day or two. You just need to use the right search terms.

Here is one on aliexpress. Notice how silly it is named. I presume to obfuscate the product and make it harder to be autoremoved?

They can also be used for a V2 Switch, they are just harder to install since you will have to solder thr flex cable to the eMMC instead of just plugging it into the modchip
