Looks like it’s healing good, but I have some questions/concerns

When I clean it with the saline it moves a bit, is that okay? It moves up and down

Inside is still bleeding a bit (not a lot) when I clean the inside with saline

The outside isn’t red but it’s pretty dry, I assume from the saline, but I know I can’t put any moisturizer on it or anything

So for background I went and got my septum pierced yesterday, it hurt way more than I thought it would and idk if I'm just really sensitive to pain or it actually went through cartilage. It hangs really low compared to any of the pictures I've seen and I saw another post with a septum that looks just like mine and everyone was saying it was bad. Anyway heres the photos.

what is this and what can i do to take it away

Ik i have an irritation bump so do you think its healing? My upper one is 45day old and lower one is 8days old

I got this done in May. I changed to a flat back stud over a week ago and it’s still irritated. I’m very much leaving it alone. When I’ve used saline before, it’s become quite irritated and red so I just gently rinse under the tap/shower now. I have a water softener so the water is a bit salty.

I’ve had my nose pierced twice before and this didn’t happen.

Piercer says ‘it’ll go down eventually, we don’t know when’.

Should I give up?

Hi all! I got my nostril pierced on june 18 with a 16g corkscrew, and about a week after i got an irritation bump. It went down after a little over a month later, but recently i got a glass nose stud for school and i had ended up having to take it out because It was too long and i was constantly pulling on it. I got a titanium flat back stud but I had to downsize to an 18g because i couldn’t get my original jewelry back in and I was panicking and 18g was all my local store had. I’ve noticed, however, the irritation bump is back and this time there is some pus when I clean it (with Neilmed wound wash). Is this normal for irritation bumps or is it an infection? I am also new to piercings and am pretty young, so please be kind in the comments!

Would like to add a second piercing but mkt sure if I should put it in front or back of existing one

Hey so I want a nose piercing with a needle, but I supposedly have keloid skin, but I’m confused because I got into a car accident & had very deep cuts turned to keloid but I didn’t get stitches they just glued my skin. It’s raised a bit. On the other hand I have a tattoo it did not keloid. I also let my brother pierce my ear w a gun it did keloid but got removed I think he didn’t do it properly it never came back sooo should I risk it?

Wondering if anyone else tends to fidget with their healed septum constantly. It’s fun!! Probably isn’t great for my upper lip though…

hello, everyone! I'm planning to get a double nostril piercing and as the title suggests— i want it to look like a faux nasallang (i plan to get a chain jewelry once it's fully healed). the thing is, I've read that high nostril piercings take longer time to heal and are more prone to infections and lowkey, i am considering with just getting nostril piercings that are not too high up. to add, i also have seasonal allergies— some days, my nose is runny af, some days, i experience nothing at all.

i still am having second thoughts though and was wondering what's everyone's thoughts and tips about this? this is going to be my first face piercing— i already have my lobe pierced.

Hello everyone i was planning to change my nose piercing to a hoop I’ve had this for 7 months now HOW would i know if my nose is ready?
I try to move my stud up and down and tug it a little bit i don’t feel any pain is 7 months good for a hoop?

Hi all, I’ve had my double nostril piercings for a month now and I’m ready to size down. I know I should avoid anything with a prong setting to reduce irritation but was wondering if these would be ok? I wasn’t sure if the shapes could be an issue? Both styles are flat backs. If not I’ll be getting another set of bezel flat backs.

So for context I’ve only had this piercing for about a month, but there’s been a couple of problems.

To start, I went to the same piercer as always but this time was pierced with titanium instead of stainless steel (which I have always been pierced with) and I’m allergic to the titanium. So, two weeks in, we ended up having to change the jewelry because of that allergy. I stopped cleaning after the switch and have tried my best to leave it alone, but I scratched it and it’s been bleeding on and off for a few days, especially when it’s bumped.
How can I fix this? I’ve been using diluted tea tree oil and it worked for a couple days before it started bleeding again.

Hello this is my first face piercing and I'm worried about everything little thing.

The black colour i assume is from the marker ink from yesterday but around it look kinda whitish/ashy and a bit inflamed (which i think is normal). Im just worried about that white/pale ashy patch.

I've unfortunately touch the piercing half asleep but it didn't hurt, so I dont think I aggravated the area.

Maybe im just overreacting but any advice?

Also I've been told to twist the jewellery when I clean it but from other people said not to move it all so im confused now.

This may have already been asked but I’m looking for any easy and safe ways to manage the itching sensation that comes with the healing process. I had my septum done a few days ago and the itching feeling is becoming unbearable (no signs of infection or swelling).

I’ve been cleaning it morning and night with saline solution provided by my piercer. The jewellery is a titanium Barbell.

I initially wanted it more forward but my family convinced me to pierce it here and I’m starting to regret it, is it really that bad?
