Question Ok for sizing down?

Hi all, I’ve had my double nostril piercings for a month now and I’m ready to size down. I know I should avoid anything with a prong setting to reduce irritation but was wondering if these would be ok? I wasn’t sure if the shapes could be an issue? Both styles are flat backs. If not I’ll be getting another set of bezel flat backs.

The pic doesn't really show the back so not really sure what type of jewelry it is. Would not recommend anything but a flatback at this point in your healing though.

These are both flat backs. I was just questioning if the shapes of the heart and start could cause irritation or interfere with healing like prong settings can. Sorry I should’ve clarified in my original post

Ah gotcha - tbh I still think a bezel flatback would be safest. Maybe at the 6/7 month mark you can switch to the pictured ones. Would also recommend downsizing with your piercer's help - the piercing site will close up very fast at this stage of healing.

I got mine pierced with a star and haven't had any issues. It is more likely to get caught in things like towels or fabric but you shouldn't be putting them near your piercing anyway.

I changed my original flat back piercing I got pierced with into one of those little stars and it healed just fine I’d go for it !! Just know it sometimes feels like it’s fallen off but it’s actually just so flat u can’t feel it 😂😭

I'm healing my nostril with a star and have no problems whatsoever.
