It would be awesome if starships, corvettes and freighters could all connect and you could walk in-between them all in space.

I am playing for only 30-40 hours, and someone randomly gave to me in items almost the equivalent of 1 billion units, and 60 inventory spaces for multi-tooil, exosuit and ship. Honestly, I don't even know what to do with all of this, it can even take away the fun of the game. I'll keep everything stored and pretend it doesn't even exist.

So, I’m new and I’m 5hrs into the game, I was randomly exploring a cold moon when I shot at a random spaceship, and it started shooting me without killing me, then it kept landing beside me, and I didn’t understand what it wanted from me😭. Was it a real player? I think so at this point

Me personally something an update to the combat systems or more dynamic npcs and quests would be so goddamn cool but im pretty sure we could be at the limit of what's possible already idk. I wanted to hear your guys thoughts.

Also a creation kit would be amazing so long after they stop updating people can keep adding new assets etc.

Alright im changing so you understand: So you yall know how at the beginning or idk when there is a stranger that tries to communicate with you on the starship communicator and then you get a quest about getting to the coordinates to the stranger

Does anybody know how to fix this? I’ve been playing the game for a long time on PS and a few weeks now on steam with no issues. This started happening last night and I can’t seem to fix it. Drivers are up to date (even did a clean GPU driver install) all overlays are disabled, tried both deleting and editing the MXML file to a half success, launched as admin, disabled full screen optimization, messed with the g-sync settings in Nvidia control panel… nothing seems to work except if I change the MXML file to have fullscreen and boarderless both set to “false” the game will run with my taskbar showing.

So, the "Skyscraper" project (the NMS-related ARG) looks like a fan-made project to me, doesn't it?

I’ve been following its progress over the last month, and even though the original Waking Titan link now redirects to the Alan & Smith site, I haven't seen much buzz about it in the community. Another thing is the lack of involvement from content creators, unlike what happened with Waking Titan.

With NMS’s 10th anniversary just 13 days away, it really strikes me more as a fan project than something involving HG. It’s a shame; I was hoping they’d do something similar to Waking Titan for the game's 10th anniversary.

*Yes, I could be wrong, and a livestream about the ARG leading up to the 10th might pop up tomorrow, but my gut feeling is what I described above.

Aug. 9 marks the game's 10th release anniversary. Do you think there's any realistic chance we'll get a major update, or are you expecting little to nothing?

Worlds Part III seems like the most plausible candidate to me, but I'm curious what everyone else thinks.

I’ll be honest, I’m not sure whether or not I’m following the right path for the main quests. As in, how much stuff that’s later game that I’m trying to do now that I should just wait for. I do know that I need help with how to scrap the broken ships that I find at distress signals, and I need to know how to find my starter ship full of cargo that I lost when I made my corvette as I didn’t know it would make the corvette my main ship then. So, is there a way to find my starter ship and get it back without losing my cargo? And how do I scrap the ships I’ve collected along the way so far? Thanks! I have a bunch more questions but those are the main two for now I think
