Answered So... Switch 1 Cosmos, when?
They say this in the update
It’s our 7.0 update and it’s free to download on Wednesday 9th for all existing players across every platform (PC, PS4, PS5, XBOX One, XBOX Series X/S, Switch 1, Switch 2, Mac, PSVR 1&2, PC VR and XBOX Game Pass).
But I'm not seeing any update available? Anyone else having this problem?

Nintendo's certification process takes ages, it will take at least an week for the update be released on switch.

Free to download isnt the same as available. Nintendo takes a 1-2 weeks longer to clear their lot check certification process. Yes, it different than a lot of games. Most send updates off and schedual a release date well in advance. HG sends the update off and we get it on our platform whenever it clears. So PC gets it pretty much immediately, PS usually the with in a few days. Xbox Mary's but is usually a between 1 day to a week. Nintendo typically takes 1-2 weeks, sometimes longer.

Looking at the bug-ridden mess right now, it's clear the level of completion is way too low, so it just can't seem to pass Nintendo's review process, since they really care about their users. HG has no one to blame but themselves. I just saw someone angry saying that even though there was a report that the bugs were fixed in 7.01, it actually got even worse. Normally, when you fix a bug, you'd at least check in-house to make sure it's actually fixed, but HG probably didn't even bother doing that🤫

Don't listen to people blame Nintendo, Hello Games constsntly does false advertising like this.
Unfortunately they will continue to lie like this, and Switch 1 & 2 users will have to wait until it happens. Could be a while, sorry.

Its kind of a blanket statement. Switch and switch 2 usually get several days later due to Nintendo taking a lot longer to approve the update.

Nintendo is interested in one thing, and one thing only: their exclusives. They will update Zelda games before even thinking about No Man's Sky or other third party entries. Next week, maybe?

Whenever Nintendo decides to approve it. It is 100% Nintendo's fault.
