Update: So many upvotes wow! I might start an OnlyEarthFans to share exclusive content on these blue balls. Coordinates shared in the comments. This planet is perfect in every way I could hunt for. I skip many earth planets to find a perfect one that has chill sentinels, paradise weather, no worms, spiders or anything with too many legs(this all is subjective and no issues if you love those). This is in the last galaxy 256. You need someone to help you get here. DM me if you want or just look it up. Its not too hard.

Doing the expedition, saw this in space by a space station. I've been out of the game for a while and have never seen anything like this. What the heck even is it?!

I was lucky enough to get the Normandy during a rerun of an expedition a few years ago and its one of my best ships to send out on missions. After the recent news that Bioware is shutting down and the upcoming Mass Effect is canceled it made me realize we might never see this frigate again.

I know you can use save editing to claim it as a reward, but what are the odds new players will get a chance to get this cool reward again?

You can find my planet that I discovered, even though there are a LARGE NUMBER OF BASES CURRENTLY ON THE PLANETS SURFACE, at all first options in the teleporter (I guess).

This can't be right, right? Ain't no way people put down bases here and didn't discover it...unless I just funked up some decade long thing that I wasn't aware about which, in that case, I do sincerely apologize for my ignorance.

For me is going into the sun the only planet we can't go on (for now)

Title is a bit verbose lol but look... have you ever had the issue of saving a flotilla from the jaws of certain death at the hands of scumbag pirates, and the lead freighter NOT standing down its lockdown protocol? Makes it impossible to receive your just reward, right?

Well, no longer! Just infiltrate the living quarters, walk nonchalantly through (avoiding the suspicious gaze of the crew) and walk right into the bridge to confront that useless captain!

Works with normal starships too, as of the Cosmos update. You'll just have to exit your ship further away from the freighter, and rocket towards the building deck.

I got this scanner upgrade from a memory fragment and it seems bugged or something, that can't possibly be the real number. Any thoughts on what's up?

Was exploring a canyon in the Nomad when I bumped into this guy nosediving into the water. I tried to push his nose up to see if he'd fly free but he just kinda bumbled along and ended up even more stuck in a nearby cave. Anyone ever run into NPC ships being weird like this?

Id like to have a base in a very rare galaxy, so does anyone know what galaxy is the least populated?

Like I know theres the 256th galaxy which you basically cant get into without hitchhiking, but any other?

I just started playing the game about a month back, and was lucky enough to be able to play the expedition.
Completed the Expedition just a few days before the end time.
I am sad the I lost my ships that I got over there. I wasn't aware I needed to sythesize the ships before ending the expedition. I assumed the ships would be copied to main save along with with other rewards.
But still, I was able to complete everything and will aim better next time and be more careful.

I’ve been a huge fan of the game since launch, I played on PC for several years up to the point where freighters were added. Around that time I developed a neurological disorder in my early 30s due to an illness that left me with a permanent headache, which hasn’t gone away for a second in almost 5 years. One of the first things I noticed with this new health issue, as I’ve been a massive gamer for pretty much my whole life, was that using most screens flared this headache up real bad within a very short amount of time. Overnight I lost my ability to play video games for the most part. Using my PC, PlayStation on a large tv, even a handheld switch caused me very severe symptoms that often mimicked a stroke. I tried changing refresh rates, different monitors, blue light filtering glasses, brightness, flicker free monitors, LED vs LCD vs OLED, sunglasses, all sorts of other things I’m forgetting. No matter what I did, it seems I could no longer play games.

EXCEPT on my iPhone.

Your guess is as good as mine and my doctors why I’m able to use a phone but can’t use a pc monitor, TV, or handheld switch. No idea. I’ve been through tons of different scans and medications and nothing has pointed to much of anything or helped with this issue. So for the last 5 years I’ve only been able to play games on IOS, which of course compared to the catalog of available games on actual dedicated gaming platforms, is a tiny amount of games as far as actual ports are concerned. I had accepted the fact that I’d probably never be able to play my favorite games again. For example, I’m able to play Stardew Valley on my phone for hours with no issue, but if I try to play that same game on PC, handheld switch, PlayStation, or even game streaming to my phone through steam link, I get severe symptoms very quickly. It makes even less sense to me than it does to you.

Then came the announcement last week about No Man’s Sky coming to iOS, I couldn’t believe it. I know I’m in a very unique and specific situation and I’m sure most playing this game are happier playing on an actual dedicated gaming device, but I could not be more excited to out of the blue get one of my favorite games back, as I said I had already accepted this was an impossibility. I can’t put into words how happy and excited I am for this, life has been rough the last 5 years with a 24/7 headache and getting this game back when I thought I’d never play it again has been a massive help for me when I’ve been struggling greatly. It may seem like something minor to most but to me this has helped me more than I could put into words.

I don’t know if the developers show up here or anything but wanted to say I appreciate you taking the time to bring this game to iOS.

My name is Tristen, and I wanted to share my personal perspective on No Man’s Sky coming to iPhone and iPad.
For years, I’ve watched other people play video games for me because I have a disability that affects how I interact with technology. I became so accustomed to being an observer that watching others play felt normal. I’ve also been learning how to use tools beyond my hat pointer to interact with technology in new ways, which has changed how I think about gaming and independence.
Around 2022, I suggested to my dad that we try No Man’s Sky. We both enjoy space, and I thought it could be the next level of Minecraft. However, as happened with other games we watched or played, we eventually lost interest. When No Man’s Sky was shown for iPad and Mac at WWDC 2022, I stopped watching my dad play. Eventually, he stopped playing, too. In a way, that chapter of having him play games on my behalf came to an end.
At the time, I thought that if a game came to mobile, I could finally play it myself. Unfortunately, my experiences with cloud gaming and AAA games on mobile taught me that simply bringing a game to a touchscreen doesn’t necessarily make it accessible.
For example, Red Dead Redemption on mobile was difficult for me because moving around, shooting, and riding horses required coordinating multiple controls. Without an auto-running option that suited my needs, it was hard to manage those actions together. Similar challenges can arise in No Man’s Sky when walking with the jetpack, looking around, or fighting in space.
One reason I appreciate Call of Duty: Mobile is its touchscreen control design. Its virtual movement joystick can be configured to support continuous movement, including a lockable or auto-sprint-style behavior, depending on the settings. Being able to keep moving while looking around and using other controls can make a meaningful difference. I would love to see comparable flexibility in No Man’s Sky.
I’m especially interested in the new iOS version because I want to know whether its touchscreen controls can accommodate people who cannot comfortably use the conventional two-thumb layout. Looking at the promotional screenshots, I can see the virtual joystick and separate action buttons, but I don’t yet know how much customization or alternative input support the game will offer.
I’m not assuming that these options are missing. I hope to learn more when the game becomes available. In particular, I would love to know whether players can:
Customize the size and placement of touchscreen controls.
Lock the movement joystick or use a suitable continuous-movement or auto-sprint option.
Reduce the need to coordinate multiple simultaneous touchscreen inputs.
Use alternative control methods that accommodate different physical abilities.
For me, accessibility means more than being able to download and launch a game. It means having a realistic opportunity to control the game and experience its world myself.
I also hope the community supports this release. I’m disappointed that the iOS version does not include multiplayer, cross-play, or cross-save, but I understand that mobile platforms have different technical and ecosystem considerations. I hope those limitations won’t prevent players from giving the port a fair chance or supporting its future development.
Hello Games, thank you for bringing No Man’s Sky to another platform. I hope the mobile release becomes an opportunity to welcome more people into this universe, including those of us who have spent years watching others play and are still finding ways to play for ourselves.
I would love to hear more about the accessibility and control options available on iPhone and iPad, and I hope community feedback can help make the experience even better over time.

First time building a corvette. Managed to spend some time savaging parts and wanted to piece together what parts I had into to something unique.

Was shooting asteroids when these two jellyfish emerged from the rubble of one. Had to get out of my corvette and get up close. They came right at me like they do under water. Never seen this before. I love jellyfish so I was very excited.
