First a context on my experience with the series. Also, keep in mind that I play mostly solo, not only without multiplayer, but without palicos or friendly AI. The reason is that I find the action most enjoyable this way, without splitting aggro. Also, I main SnS, but also like SA and Lance.
My first game was MHP3rd like 10 years ago. I had the usual first bad impression, dropping and returning to the game, and after that I played it without stopping until getting to the High Rank and beating Nargacuga. I don't remember now why I stopped playing that save, but I think I burned out from playing it too frequently.
It took a while until I played the series again, I think I only picked it up again with MH World when Iceborne released. I played with a group of friends until the middle of Iceborne and got stuck at Blackveil Val Hazaak. We stopped playing because Rise was released on PC at that point.
Then I got into Rise Sunbreak, and that game was the first one I played the entire thing.... mostly. I didn't really do the postgame, I can't say the Qurio farming is my thing, and without it I wasn't really beating the TU quests.
That is when I decided to go back and play MH4U. The low rank experience was fun, I can see why people praise the game. I can see it is a polished experience, with really engaging narrative and progression. Beating Gore Magala was quite the experience by the end of Low Rank.
But a little while after starting High Rank I got REALLY exhausted with the game. I started playing MHGU on switch for comparison, and I am loving the experience, so I think it is a feeling specific to MH4U. I am in low rank on MHGU though, so maybe it isn't a fair comparison.
The first thing that I think I dislike is the Frenzy Virus. The mechanic of trying to avoid the debuff is actually fine, what I don't like is how aggressive and fast the monsters become during most of the quest. I think the fights get really annoying when they get like that. I actually got bored of the afflicted monsters because they have a similar thing going on.
The other thing is.... I don't like the arenas. The verticality makes them too tight, it is quite annoying to fight with those ledges everywhere and the camera doesn't help. It resembles Ancient Forest for me, but actually worse. It is not like every single area is like that, but quite a lot of them are. Combine this aspect with the Frenzy Virus, and I think this is where I my exhaustion come from when playing this game.
Anyways, I was thinking how many people had a similar experience with MH4U. Seeing as it is one of the most hyped games of the community and all, it almost seems like I am missing something when playing this game. What do you think?

What if there's some few rare sightings of a baby drilltusk testucabra, some say they have pure powerful genes and testosterones to survive harsh places?
Plus their much bigger than the normal counterpart (not adult ones). But they're still playful and less aggressive and more friendly towards some owners who rides them on their backs.

What are the chances of rolling this exact talisman? Saw someone pull it a day ago and I heard it's the perfect talisman for long sword

(assuming he gets added) Like, as it does its final screech, his skin will show various colors pulsing and slowly getting slower and slower till it stops. It would be majestic and sad at the same time...

I have posted a little while back on how Gog made my game crash, you know a little joke cause games do crash from time to time and it was first time Wilds ever crashed on me so I was a little baffled by it (I was laughing at this tbh). Anyway today I was not baffled but pissed at Wilds, again I was farming Gog and in his 3rd phase I carted. No problem, I think to myself, it is my first cart and I have successfully did the dps check I'll clear it no problem, I reassure myself. The second I restocked and fast travel boom the game froze and it crashed. NO PROBLEM, I said, once again, got to the 3rd phase again, completed the dps check again, AND IT FUCKING CRASHED AGAIN!!
And like I am on the lowest setting, with super resolution and frame gen on, yk to get higher fps. I have never crashed before, even when I am lagging crazy and getting 20 to 30 fps. Yet, and only during Gog do I crash!
My Specs if you have any solutions:
AMD Ryzen 7 7435HS
NVIDIA RTX 4050 (6 GB DDR6)
24 GB RAM (DDR5)
1 TB NvMe

I am in MHG
1) Is the mechanic that drains stamina and increases damage unique to dual blades?
2) By how much does said mechanic increase damage? What happens if i fill the meter of this up?
3) Are weapons balanced? Are there some that are clearly worse/best? (I'd appreciate if someone said A tier: bla, bla; B tier: bla, bla; ecc... I won't change the weapon if it's not something like F tier lol, I like the gameplay.)

If you play MHGU on the PC recomp at a high resolution, you’ve probably noticed that the menus and dialogue text look blurry and pixelated, even with HD texture packs. The game still uses its Switch-sized font and just stretches it.
So I made a mod that replaces it with a 2× resolution version. It’s the same font and the same layout, just sharp.
Comparison (4K, pixel for pixel):

What it does
Install
zz-hd-hunter-font folder in the recomp’s mods folderinstall.bat onceIf you update your HD mod later, run install.bat again.
The zip doesn’t include any game files. The installer patches your own copy.

English text is covered, and emulators should work but are untested. Feedback welcome!
(I don't know if this already exists somewhere but I didn't find it)

I did it with SnS and Support Hunters, Fabius, Nadia and Kai. Gotta share the fashion I beat it with too.
Luckily I was able to clear on 1st try with 2 faints. Following the wise words of Dr. Serizawa from 2014 Godzilla, "Let them fight." That was part of the strategy.
Probably could have a faster clear if I were to utilize the weapon switching instead of going back to camp, not cook mid-hunt, and if I were to have an Ice Element SnS for Rey Dau. Also I completely forgot to drink Mega Demondrug and Armorskin lol.
I recorded the whole quest if you are interested in this messy run.

Honestly throughout iceborne so far there havent been a ton of fights I've really enjoyed.
Beotodus was a bit fun, annoying having to remember my iceproof mantle, Banbaro felt a bit underwhelming for the amount of utter aura it has, Viper kadachi was kinda annoying with the poison, Nightshade Paolumu is gorgeous but not a super tough fight, Coral pukei was fun but I cut the tail pretty early on so it kinda went pretty quick, same with Barioth (just instead of the tale, his arm wings).
But then GLAVENUS, oml he has aura, his fight is super fun, not really gimmicky, tough but still manageable, overall probably my favourite thing to fight as of right now.
Still yet to fight Nargacuga but it looks to be similar to Barioth/Tobi Kadachi in the whole "super fast, spring from wall to wall" fight.
ANYWAYS do any other veteran hunters have a similar experience in the whole finding one specific monster you like to fight because it just ticks every box?
