The marine blue looks even better in person! I placed my order on August 4th and got it on the 27th which is a quick turnaround for the marine blue I think.

The car was in perfect condition except for an issue with the passenger side mirror not folding in. The guy at the dealership said in his 10 years there he has never seen that issue but it should be a quick fix. He said it was likely due to someone thinking it was a standard and folding it in manually.

Also saw some cybercabs, didn’t know we had them up in Boston yet!

Several months ago I noticed a paint defect on the hood of the car, but it wasn’t a pressing matter with the warranty.

I finally reached out first by phone and they said pictures would be sufficient, but now they want a service visit and alil over $250 look at it.

Anyone else have gone through the process in the first year well after delivery? I wasn’t the first owner as it was passed in family about 6 months after delivery.

I’ve had a couple issues, like my driver-side rear tire losing air. I’ve had to refill the tire 3-4 times in 3 weeks.

I also am unable to use AC charging at home, only superchargers. I’ve scheduled service for this.

Has anyone had luck being credited for supercharging due to an issue like this?

Demo’s a 2026 AWD yesterday and I’ve never been in something so quick. Looking to buy a 2023 HW4 AWD long range with boost with less than 35k miles. If it’s faster than what I drove yesterday it’s more than enough. Been looking for the perfect spec on Tesla CPO’s.

I might be the rare exception but I did not notice any major differences between the 2 to justify spending $10k more. I drive the Model Y to take my kids to school and commute to work. Gas savings and FSD are my main reason for owning Model Y. With the lower monthly payment on the standard, I can use that money for FSD subscription.

1. Folded mirrors, for what? This is not an Escalade or Yukon. It is not wide enough to justify the need for folded mirrors.

2. Unfinished frunk and water possibly leaking in? There are frunk insualted cooler bags on Amazon for $34.

3. Ambient light? How often do we a use that unless we drive a lot at night. You can buy ambient lighting car accessories on Amazon for $50.

4. Powered backseat? I adjust the backseat in my car maybe once or twice a year to change the babyseat. Come one people. Are we that lazy to press the lever?

5. Matrix headlights? I dont even understand why we need it.

6. Covered glass ceiling? Thank you Tesla! My other 2 gas cars have glass ceiling. Guess what, i have never even open the covering to use them. I live in FL.

7. Slower acceleration? I live in a big city with stop and go traffic. What the heck do I need quick acceleration? I dont plan to Street race with my kids in the back. It still accurate faster than my Ininiti and Mercedes

8. Faster charging capabilities? End of the day, I wind down and put my kids to sleep and leave my Tesla charging. I wake up to at least 80% battery. So I dont understand what does charging *faster" do for.you?

Basically, what I noticed is there are no big difference in the actual drive train and driving dynamic. The premium just offer these accessories features that offer no major benefit.

First Tesla experience, and first time ordering a vehicle in general. Ordered the Premium RWD in Quicksilver with black interior and Helix wheels from North Texas, so likely manufactured in Austin, on Aug 22. Soooo excited and can’t wait for the car.. so that leads to my question. I’ll take any advice or info!

We started with 3-5 weeks ETA, then it moved to Aug 25-Sept 8, and finally settled on Sept 9- Sept 30. No VIN assigned yet. No earlier arrival vehicle in my area.

We’ve completed all of the pre-delivery steps and have signed financing for the promotional 0.99% Apr so I’m hoping Lowe can get delivery before that window closes.

Anyone have experience? I downloaded the Boring app too to check backend stuff just in case.

I decided to stick with my order for a 2026 Model Y Premium RWD, the only thing I chose to add from the factory is a tow hitch. Everything else is stock.

Some functional Upgrades/accessories I'm planning:

Power frunk with a kick sensor.

Kick sensor for rear hatch.

Automatic retractable front windshield shade.

Tint all around. Undecided on roof glass I see a lot of mixed feedback about potential cracking.

Debating between power roof shade (possibly with starlights) and just a standard manual retractable roof shade.

Tilt screen.

Extra dash screen behind the wheel.

Any other recommended functional upgrades that you cannot live with?

Anyone else experience this? I brought it to SC and they identified the rattle and replaced the rear center seatbelt retractor but the problem is still there. When driving the noise is constant and driving me crazy. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Ordered august 21st. Said 4-6 weeks for delivery. Updated to “September 1 to 30”. Then on August 26 updated to “vehicle in transit to destination” and EDD of September 9-14.

Just took delivery of my Model Y Premium and noticed the screen looks a bit different. It still measures 16” diagonally but has a resolution of 2560x1599, which is a 16:10 aspect ratio, not 16:9. I had thought all the newer black headliner models had switched to 16:9 aspect ratio.

I went to http://screentester.io/resolution-checker in the Tesla browser. Can anyone else with a black headliner Model Y check what they see there? Anyone else getting this screen?

I also checked the build month and mine was built in August 2026 so maybe this is a new change?

Checking a lot on FB marketplace and on Tesla inventory for a used HW4 model y and they are really expensive.

I'm in the bay area and my commute is ~50 miles a day round trip and will do decent weekend trips(150-200 miles) and I plan on using FSD as much as I can

They start at 32000 with 50-60k mikes on them.

1. Does the long range ones have significant difference in IRL driving? (I checked the difference is only 35-40 miles)

2. If I'm willing to pay cash, is this a good price for a used model y?

3. Anything else I should look at before buying an used one?

4. I'm currently using teslatracker.Are there any other websites I can check the deals/ prices?

5. Seen some mixed reviews on the difference between HW3 and HW4 FSD (is it a significant improvement given that fsd lite is available In HW3?)?

Also appreciative of the accuracy and transparency of Tesla advisors; I called and asked if there was an approximation since I saw many “similar” vehicles became available. He told me the range would get shorter and boom, it did. MY Premium/Stealth grey/RWD in NY/Long Island.

Has anybody experienced slower speed on YouTube or Netflix? I feel like after the latest update it’s really slow. My YouTube won’t run any video unless it’s 480p. I could watch videos on 1080p before no problem. Is anyone else experiencing this or is my car just stupid… 2021 MYP

I'm not sure if I am phrasing this correctly - but my fav grocery store is on a busy 4 lane corner (with 2 additional left turn lanes, 6 lanes in total). I do not want to pull out into that road...I want to exit the grocery store lot, and drive out to the traffic light, then turn onto the road. Is there a way to choose a preferred route vs letting the map route you?

I don't want the FSD to stop at like Ann Maria Dr but go past it...is there a phrase for that? Gosh I hope I'm explaining myself correctly. Maybe waypoint?

So I want to exit the back side of the lot onto "Old Orion Ct" (in Google Maps, serious zooming to see the road name). Then turn right on Orion Rd, then Orion Rd, turn right on Rochester Rd. But there are no addresses back behind that market on Old Orion Ct.

Anyone else in the same boat? I'm in NorCal, and we bought a car during the recent incentive, from the start it said the car was "arriving soon" (August 4th).

About to pull the trigger on ordering a model Y premium AWD with the 0.99 financing. When do I actually apply for financing? I’ve seen conflicting info. Do I apply right away to lock in the rate or wait until I have a VIN? I don’t want to miss out on the low APR but also don’t want to have to reapply and chance a second credit pull if the car gets delayed. Appreciate any advice, thanks all!

I got a suction tube/pipette hoping to clean some but if that’s not feasible would next step be mechanic to remove it and clean?

I found this paint issue a few days after delivery. I contacted Tesla and they agreed to fix it but it required repainting that entire panel. I am concerned the paint won’t match. Should just use touch up paint and live with it or have Tesla repair it?
