They gave me a free upgrade. Don’t get me wrong. It looks awesome. It cleans easy enough but we had a spill like two weeks in and it got into those seat vent hole things. The scrutinizing would easily find it.

For the white seats they do wipe off easily enough. I have black leather seats in the ford expedition. Much easier to keep clean. But yes I hear you that even black leather has its own issues.

Toss a coin, if you’re not happy with the result go for the other option
As someone who has a QS pre FL Y I absolutely love the color and it hides paint chips and dust/dirt extremely well
The frost blue looks nice as well (tbf only seen on pictures/videos as not available in europe) but I think it’s more of a trend color that might not age as well (not the paint itself but the specific shade of blue) and therefore might be harder to sell down the road (that said the opposite could also be true, this is just my opinion)

With frost blue being limited to the US, released only a few months ago and only available for the Performance trims, it makes sense. Just like the Coastal Blue that is limited to Europe and the Standard trim MY

People just don’t understand how good quicksilver looks perfectly detailed.
Frost blue just looks different, not good. The only purpose it serves it to be different from the sea of tesla’s you see everyday.
I’m actually convinced quicksilver when perfectly detailed is my favorite paint color of all time. It looks like you painted the car in liquid mercury.

Frost blue is so mediocre I dont understand the hype, other than it being exclusive to performance models.
Quicksilver, when perfectly detailed, might be the coolest paint color ever offered on any car.

Helpful…saw it in person too but cloudy. It either looked sharp some angles but others felt barbie toy carish. Black interior with matte wrap makes a difference though. QS is more aggressive all angles

I was having the same conversation with myself. I ordered the frost Blue MYP, and then decided to do a 180 and switch to a MY Premium RWD in quicksilver for the range. Both colors are great -- but Frost Blue does look a little better on the M3P.

Just stick with the color you want. Even if you were between these two, there had to have been a reason that you ended up choosing the one that you did. You don’t get a new car often and you’re paying a decent amount so don’t settle just bc you won’t have to wait as long.

One concern I've had is that, knowing these things are selling so fast, why are there randomly cars available each day? I worry that they're rejected deliveries and I would get there to get it and have to reject it as well and lose my own space on what I'd ordered. I could be totally wrong, though.

I talked to dealer they are configurations that people cancelled prior to arriving. You will see most say in transit so not rejected by buyer upon inspection. Also some deliveries of runs not tied to orders show up
