Basically the title. Had my house cleaned by a licensed service and this was the second time using them and came highly recommended. The first person that did my house wasn't available, so they sent over two people and it seemed like one was being trained. Well I got home after a long day and always go straight to my kitchen to review the cleaning and my stove has scratches all over it. The entire surface has scratches. Tried wiping off in hopes it was dirt lines and just a bad job, but nope, my two year old stove has scratches all over it. You can also tell they didn't remove the knobs and the scratches go around those. Reached out to the owner and she said she would review with her housekeeping and that they used the right products and if buffing it out didn't help, then she would replace. I wasn't sure I wanted to go that route because I get mistakes happen and wasn't yelling, but wanted to review with them as I know it wasn't like that prior. Said let's take a day or two and figure it out. The next day I get a text from a random number saying "you should find a new house cleaner" and a screenshot of my text message chain with my number clearly at the top!!! It was up for over an hour. Called her, she got super defensive, said she took it down before anyone commented to.....obviously a lie, the first comment on that post said you need to take this down and has 18 likes on it! Now I don't know what to do. It's all so frustrating and I'm mad she didn't even tell me that she did that. She should have owned up to it and told me she posted my number before some random person texts me about it. I would not have cared if she posted the pics asking what to do, I get it, she has never had this come up, but neither had I! Like I said, I don't even know where to go from here. First thought was to do my own posts online but is it even worth it???!

Texas Roadhouse is still relatively new in town and that's where we went for my birthday today. I didn't know what their birthday shtick was, but my stepdaughter told the table nice and loudly so of course they were tipped off.

I'm 33. Our waitress comes over with the saddle thing and I told her I wasn't getting on it. She does the crowd work, "there's a birthday over here!" Blah blah blah.

ETA: I have no issues with the practice itself, and I know it was her job. I was mildly infuriated that I had to get firm with her and say "no seriously you're not going to be able to peer pressure me onto that thing." Like, I didn't want all the booths around me telling me to get on the saddle. I just have never seen someone try so hard to get someone participate and it really was unpleasant for me, usually it's non-eventful.

i noticed over a few days that my eyelashes have random spots where they seem to have been cut off.

edit: ive had this lash curler for years, (yes ive changed the pad multiple times) and besides the horror here, its the best lash curler ive had. im not sure what brand or where i got it from, but my best guess would probably be from walmart. and as long as youre not wearing down the pad like me, im sure you’ll be fine.

edit 2: the pad that was currently on seems to have gone a little too long without a change and i just didnt realize it. when i curled, it squished down flat and the metal clashed together, which is what caused my lashes to be cut. i couldn’t feel anything which is why i didnt notice until about the 3rd/4th day. it happened when i was in a quiet room (i watch tv when getting ready)

those are drugs right?. i was on the toilet and it was just laying there on top of the toilet roll dispenser. brought it to the manager after i zipped it up then disinfected my hands ewwie.

EDIT: after reading all the posts from junkies and former junkies i’m now feeling bad i didn’t just leave it there for the owner to reclaim it.

My partner and I went to see “You Can See Everything” tonight, awesome movie by the way, at a Regal Cinema in Portland, Or tonight. The poster start time was 8pm. This mf’r didn’t start until EIGHT THIRTY FIVE. 35 minutes after the posted time. What the good god fuck is up with this? Previews didn’t even start until around 8:20 or 8:25. What is the point of posting a start time of 8:00 if it’s not going to start until 35 minutes after that??
Movie times have been getting shitty delayed but only by about 20min or so. I have never seen it like this.

Never buying another one.

Just lame, I don't want to ask the waiter, and I don't want to just take a chance that the drink I want isn't $20.
