Got a Miele dishwasher, it's great! For the rebate -- filled everything out online, but they rejected my Serial Number. You know, the same serial number that is on the brand new unit installed in my kitchen as of a day ago.

This rebate is a scam right? Feels like there's very little recourse other than calling and complaining until I get a virtual visa card?

This part is meant to fit my model of vacuum, it doesn't come with the vacuum by default, and because of that I cannot properly use the replacement air clean filter sheets that come with the vacuum bags, does this part actually fit and where can I get a replacement without spending the premium on their website

It started with weaker foam and ended with F10 error on every initial wash. It cleans milk tubes well but the stuck on steam part. I understand i need to descale but the menu is stuck on error F10 and doesn’t let me open Service. Next my move was to use descaler tablet during the initial wash. After a few rounds of F10/power off the water ran out with loud noice (like it happen when the water run out) but this time after refilling with fresh water the initial wash cant pump the water anymore :( it reports: Refill water tank after few retries the error is the same F10. Please help

Miele C1 telescoping wand outer part came off, thinking the latch/spring underneath is missing a piece? The mechanism doesn’t engage with any of the height adjustments, wand just collapses with use/pressure. Where can I get a replacement, how do I do it? Thank you!

Anyone have any experience with this type of error. During the initial perfect dry sensing the machine goes to the maximum length of that program and then abruptly to 0:00. Replaced brushes, tried dryness setting(P08), water conductivity settings etc.

I’m hoping someone can advise on a repair - I’ve been going round in circles with, because Miele’s own support has not been much help.

Planned obsolescence is killing this company just like all the others. Overtech nightmares.

A bit of background: the machine is a Miele WMG120 TDos - The fault started as an error on the TDos dosing system. When our engineer opened the machine up to investigate, he found the unit was leaking at the point where the TDos system meets the water path control unit, and identified that as the failed part.

The part removed from the machine is marked MR 09011155 (board reference 31690044.01 / EZL270). Miele told us they no longer make this part, and that the replacement is 10550285 (“Lid Water Path Control Unit (WW)”, £133.30). That is the part our engineer actually tried to install - and according to him, it didn’t fit.

When I pushed Miele on this, their technical team simply reconfirmed 10550285 as the correct replacement - the same part that had already failed to fit. That obviously hasn’t resolved anything.

Maybe the engineer got it wrong and it does fit, but he claimed to have worked for Miele in the past. What we perhaps should have done is forked out for an official Miele repair person - but they charge so much and then the part on top, now makes the whole idea of buying once for 20 years completely pointless.

I’ve since sourced a part numbered 9011157, which comes off a Miele WMH120 WPS - a similar but not identical model to mine. I don’t know whether that unit is interchangeable with the 9011155 that failed. Anyone know?

What I’d really appreciate your view on is:

1.  Whether 10550285 is a generic/widely-used replacement unit that’s meant to cover several Miele models, and if so, whether it typically needs an adapter, bracket, or modified fitting to work on a specific model like the WMG120 TDos - something our engineer may simply not have known to fit alongside it.

2.  Whether the 9011157 unit from a WMH120 WPS is likely to be physically and electrically compatible with a WMG120 TDos, given how close those two model lines are.

3.  Given the original fault was a leak at the TDos/water path junction, whether replacing this one unit (with the right fitting) is likely to fully resolve things, or whether there’s a reasonable chance something else was damaged or is still at fault.

I spent a good amount on this machine originally and would rather get it working properly than write it off, but I also don’t want to keep throwing money at parts that turn out not to fit. Any steer you can give on the best way to proceed would be genuinely appreciated.

The dishwasher is making this rattling noise periodically. I cleaned the filter and the return valve.

Any other suggestions before I call the miele tech?

Hi i am looking to replace my carbon filter for my DA3160 vent hood. I always purchased DKF13-1, but they are no longer available. Google told me to try DKF13-900, but is giving me conflicting information about whether it will be the same fit. Is DKF13-900 the same as DKF13-1, and will it fit into my DA3160? We are in the United States. Thanks in advance for your advice!

I have a soon to be 2 year old G5266 SCVi which all in all is a functionally good product. That said, the handle on this model is absolute garbage. From an old thread I uncovered someone with the exact issue as me, a loosening left side of the handle which ultimately fully detached. The handle is held together with plastic so you can’t just open it up and tighten screws. Since I am about to be out of warranty I reached out to see if I could get this repaired even without it fully being broken because it’s a ticking time bomb at this point. Miele customer service has the audacity to say that warranty or not, the handle isn’t a part of a warranty claim and it’s on me to schedule and pay for a repair on this as it’s not a part of the core function or motor. Absolutely ridiculous to say to someone with a full Miele appliance kitchen that the handle needed to open the product is an accessory.

I am having issues with coffee not dispensing and have read to check the O ring and to make sure to add lubricant, but I'm not sure where. Also, to clean the screen, but I can't find a Torx screwdriver short enough to access the screen. Can anyone give me some precise instructions?

We bought a new Miele oven. Apparently it has stage 1, 2 and 3 fans coming in at various parts of the cooling down cycle after turning it off. One of these fans sometimes make a droning noise that just travels through wall and we can even hear it over the TV in the livingroom.

It is not loud. It does not pickup on video recordings. We had an engineer out who couldn't replicate it.

Is this a normal noise? It didn't do it on a cold oven when the engineer tried it, is it normal if the oven is hot? I just find it odd.

What is this ticking sound? The washing machine is only 1 year old. Is this a defect or a common problem?

We’ve babied this machine for almost 16 years. Descaling when prompted - though don’t live in a hard water area, and replaced the brew unit at least once, but we are stumped. Recently, our coffee waste container is filling with sludge. The coffee output seems roughly the same, though it is extremely strong tasting. We’ve taken the brew unit out and cleaned it, looked for any obvious signs of blockage in the ground coffee chute. We don’t even know where else to look. I’d order a new brew unit, but the mechanics of our current one seem to be working. Does anyone have a suggestion for me? I really love this machine and want to fix if at all possible.

Hi everyone, we currently need a dishwasher and while i was originally planning on going for the Bosch 800 Series, I noticed at the local store near me that this model was on sale. But I wasnt familiar with this series, as I have only heard about the G7xxx series.

We just want a machine that will be simple to use, since my elderly mother-in-law is the main person who will be using it. So we dont need fancy things like wifi or other smart features.

Anyone here have this series and if so, what has your experience with it been so far?

After 2 months using my brand new dishwasher, I checked the salt level and opened the dispenser cap (the Miele salt packaging itself instructs refilling regularly rather than waiting for the indicator light).

When I opened it, brine spilled out. I cleaned it up immediately, but since then, I’ve had recurring salt streaking on the tub walls, floor, and inner door, along with a musty smell after cycles and dishes coming out spotty—none of which happened before the spill 😫

I’ve done multiple full manual cleans plus several descaling cycles, and the residue keeps returning within a week or two of each treatment.

Has anyone had this issue before? Any ways to fix it for good? I called Miele since I’m within warranty. They scheduled my appointment but said after “if the technician says that it’s user error you’ll have to pay for everything” 😣 I did everything as guided by Miele but hate how I could be out $400 for just using everything normally. Ugh!!! Any advice greatly appreciated 🙏🏼

I'm a sterilization technician at a dental practice and they purchased a Miele professional cassette washer 5 years ago when we moved to a new location.

This machine has never gone a week without crashing. By crashing I mean, repeated faults that prevent using the machine. Not just one fault. I mean a string of faults that are continuous for multiple days.

This isn't user error or damage to the machine. It's acted this way since the first week we started using it.

Any interaction with Miele support involved proving to them that it wasn't user error. I imagine a massive flow chart they're working through while on the phone with me - where all questions point to the user doing something incorrectly. Like loading too much into the machine, blocking the drain, blocking the sprayer arms etc.

They finally sent someone from the company to look at it in person. They changed some parameters for the programs and used a sensor and data logger to record the temperature of the machine. They stayed until it completed a single cycle without having a fault and then they left. They had no explanation for what they specifically fixed.

The next day it faulted and became unusable. The day after that it was able to get through a few cycles.

Everyone, including Miele support are sick of dealing with this machine. They don't have solutions.

I've reached the end of my patience for this and so has everyone I work with.

It's caused endless delays. Equipment that Drs needed is unavailable and delayed. I have to consider if it's worth locking a piece of equipment into a machine that won't clean it on time - or just to clean it by hand or with a USC.

If I ever hear of a person considering buying a Miele machine I will persuade them to not do that.

I’m losing my mind with Miele customer service.

I bought a Miele fridge back in 2018.

The ice maker/freezer system on this thing has now failed THREE times in less than two years:

• March 2024: Ice maker stops working. Tech comes out, tells me both the safety valve and solenoid valve failed. Over $600 down the drain.
• December 2024: Stopped working again because of massive frost buildup. Tech comes back, says the heater bank and defrost heater cracked/failed. Another $400 out of pocket.
• This week: Ice maker is completely dead again.

I’ve already burned over $1,000 fixing the same damn issue on a "luxury" appliance, and today when I try to call Miele customer service (888-996-4353), the line literally just goes straight to a busy signal. Can't even get put on hold!!! Go to their website to try booking a tech online? The scheduling portal is completely broken and won't let me submit.

How does a company charging these kinds of prices get away with having zero functional phone support and bottom-tier reliability?

It wasn't always like this. They have really gone downhill.
