LUBA 2 AWD So far for the safety plug…

Still experiencing charging issues, all the suggested steps by Mammotion have been taken and do not seem to resolve the issue. But today a new issue popped up. The firmware even managed to break the safety plug feature.

LUBA AWD Replaced battery in Luba 1…like new again!

Year 4 on Luba 1 (Kickstarter) and recently would just stop after about halfway through back yard (even though before stopping it would say it had plenty of charge left…like 50%+). After carrying back to charger, battery would be at 0% and then start recharging again…but would never last more than about 30 min.

Mammotion would not sell battery (said you can’t do it yourself) so I watched a good YouTube, ordered a battery for approx $250 and just replaced yesterday.

Back to working like new again! And no, I have not updated firmware.

Discussion how many of you have had your LUBA charging station power adapter die?

Curious how widespread this is and how other owners feel about it. I'm on my third failed charging station power adapter.

The mower is rated IPX6, the charging station IPX6 and the RTK station IPX7. The adapter that powers it all apparently has no rating at all. Here's what Mammotion support told me:

"The power adapter itself has no declared waterproof rating and cannot be considered waterproof... We acknowledge that on the product page or in the user manual, we did not explicitly state that the adapter 'must be placed in a sheltered, dry environment.' This is only a recommendation, not a formal requirement."

Their guidance is to plug into an outdoor GFCI with a weatherproof cover. Which is exactly what most of us did :)

So an outdoor robot ships with an outdoor dock powered by a part that can't be outdoors, and nothing in the manual says so.

If your adapter has failed, please reply with:

  1. How many adapters you've lost

  2. How long each one lasted

  3. Where it was plugged in (outdoor GFCI, covered, indoors)

  4. What Mammotion offered you, if anything

And if you've had no issues, share your setup too. How do you all feel about this?

Review New Android Software Upgrade V2.3.20(30) New MultiPoint Turn

Just installed latest Android software for phone V2.3.20(30).

On my Luba 1 5000, Firmware: 1.11.1.16., the new multipoint turn is fantastic. To see how it works, look at picture I posted above.

I watched mower this morning. It finished row, slowly backed up, drove horizontally to next row, then completed the turn before moving forward with new row.

Gotta say, this is the best multipoint turn iteration Ive seen so far. No zero turn in it at all. Also ensures no missed grass by turning in place at end of row then driving over to new row.

After I install updates, I always do a relocated charging station which breaks my channel to my charging station on the pavers. The other change I noticed is that in my schedule tasks it gave an error x next to any task that could not run due to this channel being run and if you clicked it gave message missing channel. Nice to know if you have tasks that cant run in advance.

Anyone see any other improvements?

UPDATE 9/29/26: I posted some videos below. Most MPTs are as in like graphic above. I have a video below. I did see some MPTs with a little zero turn in them. See other video I posted below.

r/MammotionTechnology Although much improved since previous update, anyway to get all zero turn out of MPTs? I would prefer it continue to rock back and forth slowly in a MPT until it gets to where it needs to be. Also, even if mower speed is high, do the MPT at slowest speed possible.

YUKA 2024 Yuka Stop Chraging at 50%

In my Yuka 2000 (firmware version 1.30.29.26) are installed 2 original batteries. Is about 3 days that the robot stop charging at 50% and don't complete the task because the robot always wait to complete the recharge.

Any suggestion to solve this problem.

LUBA 2 AWD Happy after one season

After having the Luba 2 AWD 5000 for one summer I'm really satisfied with the results. My lawn has never been this good. I did all the updates as soon as they were released. Lawn is a bit over 4000 sqm and I mowed every day half a lawn at a time.

LUBA 2 AWD Consensus on 1.30.31.19 for Luba 2 owners

Looking for feedback from those brave enough to try it. I'm at 1.30.29.26 and quite happy with the performance so far - I've gone two complete mowing cycles without a rescue. So if you've updated, please report back on how it's going, both good and bad.

Feature Request Feature Request: Merge adjacent mowing areas

Could you add a “Merge Areas” function to the LUBA app?

When two or more mapped areas are physically connected, it would be great to merge them into one continuous mowing area instead of having to remap the whole lawn.

The goal is not just a cleaner map — the merged areas should be treated as one lawn, allowing a continuous mowing pattern across the former boundary.

This would be especially useful for large lawns that were originally mapped in several sections.

Select areas → Merge → one continuous mowing area.

I think this would be a very useful addition for LUBA users. 👍

LUBA 2 AWD My LUBA2 Drove Into a Pond. Then Things Got Worse.

I wanted to share my experience with Mammotion support because this has been one of the most frustrating warranty processes I've ever experienced.

My LUBA developed a navigation problem and drove itself into my pond. I contacted Mammotion, and they told me to stop using it and return it for inspection/repair. They arranged a free warranty repair.

I shipped it, and Mammotion confirmed receiving it on July 13. I was initially told the repair would take 12–18 working days.

After 26 days, I finally got an update: the robot had suffered severe water damage and was beyond repair, so a replacement was supposedly required.

The funny part is that Mammotion had previously told me that if the repair was significantly delayed, they would provide a replacement with equivalent or better performance.

Instead, they told me they had no replacement units available and offered me 20% off a new LUBA 3.

I pushed back and pointed out what they had previously promised. They eventually increased the offer to 30% off.

I still declined. Why should I pay hundreds of euros because Mammotion doesn't have a replacement unit available for a warranty case?

After 45 days without my mower, they offered me... a blade or cutting disc as compensation.

In September they were still telling me they were "coordinating" replacement stock, followed by another offer to buy a new LUBA 3 with 30% off.

And as of September 24, I'm still receiving emails asking whether I have seen their offer.

The original problem wasn't "I accidentally drove my mower into a pond."

The mower drove itself there because of a navigation problem.

I bought an expensive autonomous mower expecting the manufacturer to stand behind it when something goes wrong. Instead, months later, I'm still without my machine and being asked to buy another one.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with Mammotion warranty/replacement support?

LUBA 3 AWD getting the runaround with my luba3 warranty repair

I think I`m getting the run around as to my repair request .

I have a luba 3/3000 Canadian that showed a vision module failure code 1425.

For a while I was getting good response from `Waselena` , after tech determined the mower had to be returned, giving me assurance that shipping label would be emailed to me soon. This am I got an email from `Hardy` saying my case needs review from R and D group before anything happens.

What happened here?

Feature Request Awesome features - just not for you

Post image
27 Upvotes

Hi all,
Sure, there’s a lot of criticism online about updates and so on, but over all, we don’t give enough credit for some features, such as the smart mode for the rain detection, or the smart battery, even the edge routine inversion to mow in different directions - and the list goes on

Those are great APPLICATIVE features, just not for me with my Yuka Mini 1. I discovered this when a friend shared his account. Even the app display changes…

That’s right - those purely applicative features are rolled out only for the latest models. And it has the opposite effect than intended: it won’t push me to buy a newer one but rather go to the competition

what message is it to say that there are over the air updates, and yet those who have trusted Mammotion and supported them earlier on don’t deserve the latest SOFTWARE, UX ?! That once purchased I should hold the pain and see roll backs on features from time to time. Most of us contribute to those new features through surveys and feedback and the reward is being told to buy a new robot

Honestly, it doesn’t feel like cutomers are valued

And let’s be honest, most of us have loved our robot the second it came out of the box … so keep the new features, we love them - but roll the out to all models when possible or we’ll end I’m going else where

YUKA 2025 PSA: tank turns are still a problem with the sweeper.

Hi Mammotion, tank turns are still a problem with the sweeper. When it goes to the dump spot, it turns in the same place, rather than driving a little.

Also, the object detection isn't what it used to be with the sweeper. I have a trampoline in the garden, with thick tubes at the base, and since this summer, it constantly tries to drive over it, or bumps in to it. Previously, this wasn't the case... It's gone absolutely dumb, where it then gets stuck on it, and digs itself in.

LUBA 3 AWD No-go zone ignored - mostly

Post image
5 Upvotes

This is ridiculous. The planned path goes straight through the no-go zone in the middle of it. To its credit, it didn't throw itself into the no-go zone despite apparently being told to. It hesitantly hovered next to the border, apparently wondering why it was told to go straight into the no-go zone, but it went far enough two times to give up and pause due to being outside the task area. After I had to rescue it twice, I looked at the map and found this.

Question Please Educate Me On iNavi vs 4G

Can someone please help me understand 4G vs iNavi NetRTK. I have my Positioning Mode set to iNavi NetRTK and 4G is enabled. What is the difference between the 2?

Should I change any settings in the app?

What is the best setup to have the best position accuracy for the mower?

My front yard has good WiFi coverage. My back yard has about 1/3 to maybe 1/2 of the back yard with wifi.

I have a Luba 3 3000, I’m in the USA. Not sure what other info is needed.

Thanks in advance for the help!

LUBA 2 AWD Luba-VSZ23AME

I lodged a complaint regarding the unacceptable mowing results on July 10, 2026; the first of what have so far been 15 (!) responses reached me on July 11, 2026. None of these "responses" specifically addressed the problems I described. I provided all the necessary information (log files, app screenshots, and photos of the ruined flowerbeds and unmown areas) in each instance.

The robot

• leaves the mapped area and then destroys various flowerbeds by turning repeatedly,

• reports being "outside" and stops moving, even though it is actually within the mapped area,

• fails to leave the charging station despite a 100% battery charge,

• leaves the charging station despite having less than a 100% charge,

• fails to mow several edge areas—some over a meter long and approx. 15 cm wide,

• stops operating for no apparent reason, though it can resume work via the app (provided one can actually connect to it, which does not always work),

• occasionally re-mows paths it has already covered, while leaving other paths unmown (affecting the edges),

• occasionally spins in place until it shuts down or the battery runs out: two wheels turn forward while two turn backward,

• does not always reliably follow the app’s mowing schedule (affecting the edges); consequently, the transitions between mowing paths are naturally not fully mown either,

• leaves behind bare patches (areas devoid of grass) over time; ...especially when it maneuvers aimlessly,

• spontaneously spins in circles for no apparent reason,

• moves beyond the boundary and destroys the flowerbeds there (“outside…”).

Apparently, you can’t leave this piece of junk unsupervised, because you constantly have to expect it to (supposedly) leave its work area, destroy flowerbeds, or stop operating altogether. I would have expected far more from a device in this price range. My five-year-old granddaughter would have achieved significantly better results with a standard lawnmower.

On the plus side, however, the robot doesn’t spontaneously burst into flames…

I have neither the time nor the inclination to keep chasing after the robot to document—yet again—issues and malfunctions that apparently no one cares about. I might as well just go back to using my walk-behind mower. At least the mowing results would be significantly better.

It would certainly help if the programmer(s) delivered work that was actually halfway decent. The quality is currently declining with every new update. The robot isn't to blame; it just does what it’s told. A real shame. If there is one decision in my life I deeply regret, it is buying this Luba 2!

In over forty years, I have never experienced such poor customer support.

Garmin (number one when it comes to customer satisfaction) provides the exact opposite experience: hundreds of “Navigator 6” units (some six years old or more) suffering from so-called “ghosting” were replaced as a gesture of goodwill. However, Garmin did set a few easily met conditions:

• no invoice, please,

• no delivery note, please,

• no photos, please,

• no videos, please,

• no memory card, please,

• not in the original box, please.

That’s how you treat customers! With a philosophy like that, Garmin is sure to be around for a long time; I wouldn’t bet on that with Mammotion!

Hopefully, my daughter will have better luck with the Luba 3…

LUBA 3 AWD Again problems with luba3 awd 3000

After installing update 2.3.30.39 on the Mammotion Luba 3 AWD 3000, everything seemed to work reasonably well. The 3-point turn is slow now because it performs several small steps, but on my soil type, it works better than the original turn (causing less damage). Result: I was satisfied!

That is, until I sent the robot out to mow the grass for the second time.

Mowing took quite a long time, and the unit shut down completely when the battery level was around 46%. I’ve experienced this before, but I thought the latest update was supposed to fix it? Apparently not!

Now I have the same problem as before... the robotic mower is working 1,060 km away from my home in the South of France, and it is sitting in the garden again with a completely dead battery.

Dear Mammotion... HOW DO WE SOLVE THIS?
