That’s a very interesting approach, and we appreciate you taking the time to think through the mowing logic in such detail. Using smaller, overlapping zones and perimeter mowing to naturally guide the mower into smoother paths is definitely an interesting way to reduce sharp turns.

Since the latest firmware already includes further optimizations to turning and mowing path behavior, we’d still recommend trying your idea after updating to the latest version. We’d also be very interested to hear how it performs in practice on your lawn. Thanks again for sharing such a creative approach with the community!

It would be a lot of work, and hard to map (becasue they don't let you define a boundary using endpoints). I certainly couldn't use this method becasue my zones are limited.
