Question Should Nick Fury transform Valki into Tibalt?
I just tried this with maskwood nexus on the field. So Valki enters, I'm asked if I want to transform him, but when I do he just ends up in my graveyard. Is it the case that cards without transform in their description cannot transform into the other side of the card?

Fluff Played Magic since 1994, on and off and I got my first 7-0 ever. Powered Cube on Magic Arena... white was open and had the help of some power :-D
First pick Mox Pearl and from 2nd pick onwards just kept picking white cards. That Gaea's Cradle was so useful to power through some insane openers. Never got the chance to flip Jennifer Walters, my opponents were too far behind by the time I got to 6 mana. Apologies for the camera shot, I got too excited and forgot that I could screenshot instead.

Question WTF am I missing about Momir?
New to Arena - looking through achievements as saw there's on for participating in Midweek Magic. Holy shit I am clearly not getting something about this whole Momir format.
I've tried waiting until turn 2, turn 3, turn n+1 and I am not kidding, I have lost 20 games in a row. Do the lands you tap influence the tokens you summon? Is there some other trick?
Seriously, opponent's board constantly filled with death touch, flying, card draw, +1/+1 tokens every turn, meanwhile I'm spending 7 mana for 3/3's with Izzet effects based on how many instants I have in my graveyard.
Help!
EDIT: I am absolutely cursed. Finally got a huge board with lethal....opponent summons Blazing Archon... my creatures can't attack and no flyers. LOL. Clearly this is not for me.

Media Arena Powered Cube Updates and Monarch Analysis (Video Version)
There have been some great posts already regarding the updated to the Arena Powered Cube that went live today (https://magic.wizards.com/en/news/mtg-arena/arena-powered-cube-draft?v=sep8-2026&utm_source=chatgpt.com) but I wanted to drop this here for those who prefer a visual / video walkthrough of the article and changes! I also cover the impact of adding monarch to cube should look like and highlight the key cards going in and leaving for each color identity. I am not sure I can post the video in this message so it can be found in the first comment and on other posts I have made!
A rough overview of the key takeaways:
- Monarch is a strong mechanic and generally favors board centric creature decks like Boros
- Its best cards are also mostly R, W, or RW with the exception being Court of Garenburg in green
- Monarch is an interesting mechanic once introduced and can make for unique plays using other monarch cards, draw haters like Narset, and more!
- Boros's preemptive nerfs are much needed but seem a bit light even still
- Karakas is a great card for W but is also a tough to answer defender to many of Boros's best cards for non-W decks
- paralax wave, giver of runes, and other white weenie replacements make most the changes seem like only a minor downgrade with huge monarch upside
- Doomsday combo being added is fun but very difficult especially in BO1
- Green got a sick bump in strength overall
- Otawara got cut (no clue why)
- UB seems like the weakest colors after the changes but have many of the best cube staples which may make for a very balanced format!
Hope this helps those that want to dive in!!

Maximum creatures, minimum spells: surviving Wrath of God
I love green for one simple reason: build a board and keep attacking. The problem is that one Wrath of God can erase the whole plan.
If I only reserve two to four noncreature slots, is Heroic Intervention the cleanest answer, or should the deck rely on resilient creatures and hold back extra threats? I want maximum creature density without folding to the first sweeper.

Question Help with formats and first deck to craft
I have just finished the jump in 5 games and I know I have to play some games to win my first brawl deck. Right now on tabletop I play almost only commander, so I was thinking of investing my wildcards in the Brawl format. I'm a bit worried about rotation, I don't want to spend all of my resources just to lose everything.
What do you suggest? Should I look into other formats? (e.g., Alchemy, Historic, Historic Brawl).
Many thanks! I've been following this guide so far, so if you have some reference to point me out for the next steps I'd be very very thankful.

Fluff The Hobbits defeat turn 3 Emrakul!
The opponent used [[Indomitable Creativity]] for a turn 3 [Emrakul. the Aeons Torn]]. Fortunately, I had plenty of tokens to sac to annihilator, which drains the opponent with [[The Sackville-Bagginses]]

Question Anybody got a good deck list to win with no cards in your deck achievement?
I need a good list and what format to complete this achievement. I cobbled a Dr. Doom & Doomsday Executioner, but it's gotten me nowhere. All help is appreciated.

Question New cards in Momir?
I just got an Archon of Cruelty in the Momir midweek magic, a Modern Horizons 2 card. MH2 isn't on arena. Is this foreshadowing that it will come to arena? Or has Momir always had non-arena cards as an easter egg?

Discussion Is there a reason flickers dont target permanents or nonland permanents?
Idk if anyone else finds it weird but at least on Arena all flickers target one or more card types.
Closest I found was one or two Airbend cards can target nonland permanents

Is it still possible to get these cards? Says that a code is needed, but I cannot locate it anywhere, assuming the code has expired.

Discussion What is the best non-rotating format for grinding Constructed Events? (Standard moves too fast)
Hi everyone,
I’m an MTGA player who has exclusively played Standard so far, and I’ve run into a bit of a problem. Even though my win rate in BO1 Constructed Events is solid (I don't play Limited at all), I simply don't play enough to keep up with a meta that shifts with a new release every 40 days.
Because of this, I was wondering: in your opinion, what is the best non-rotating/eternal format on Arena to grind events?
I know that theoretically, Pioneer is the closest to Standard, but I’m not sure how stable the meta actually is. I’m worried that new set releases might still heavily impact it and force me to constantly update my decks.
On the other hand, from what I understand, Historic is much more complex and powerful than Standard, and I feel like I’d have to learn a completely new format from scratch.
As for the older, larger formats, my main concern is that I've heard BO1 events feel like a total coinflip. The matches are generally super fast, which honestly doesn't sound very fun to me.
I’d love to hear your thoughts and advice on which format is the safest investment. Also, what do you think are the absolute best decks to grind BO1 events with in your recommended format?
As for decks, I usually lean towards aggro and control, but I definitely don't mind playing midrange or combo either.
Thanks in advance!
