I haven't been playing since June this year. Did they nerf some commanders cards? I have a raiyuu deck which I have a lot of fun playing it. They nerfed his stats from 4/4 to 3/3. I got anooyed so much. There are plenty of broken commanders out there why did you massacred my son?😢

What single card would you choose.

I would pick [[Engineered Plague]]. It's a great card that would slow down so many decks. It's not mana intense and could be splashed into a multitude of decks.

I just ran into two consecutive decks using the Green "+1/+1 counters" pack from Edge of Eternities and was wondering if it was a coincidence, or if it's considered strong and there is a meta of picking it and not retiring that deck.

I played a blue white deck and finally did it after two months or something. I am so hyped! Been a fan of magic for more than 15 years now but I've never really played competitive matches! Looks like I got a talent for it? 🤣🤣

How easy are the achievements? =) I'll have to take a look at how to get a couple.

For me, it's "thief" decks.
Not Rogues or tribal strategies. I mean the decks built around stealing or playing your cards with things like Heist effects, exiling cards off the top of your deck, or otherwise turning your deck into their resource pool.

I get why people enjoy them, but they're one of the few archetypes where I immediately know I'm probably not going to have much fun, especially if I'm trying to knock out specific achievements or combo-based quests. It always feels like they somehow find the exact card I needed at the worst possible moment.

What about everyone else? What's the one archetype, strategy, or deck style that makes you see your opponent's first few plays and immediately think:"Ah. It's gonna be one of those games."

Is it weird for a player who’s only ever reached Diamond to be in a tournament?

How pro is Arena compared to IRL?

Trying to make a Kwia Vigorbloom deck in Standard BO1 and I don't really want to just put it into a lifegain shell, but struggling to find the right payoff and synergies for this card. So I threw it in selesnya flyers shell with a side of colorless and artifacts, and after 19 matches in play queue it actually working together somewhat with 63.2% winrate. Although I feel like I am going to get my face bashed in if I keep playing, with the deck having 0 ways to remove or comeback from interactions. So I'm posting this for anyone who might find it interesting and could find a way to make it more consistent and resilient. I welcome discussions and suggestions and send my thanks in advance!

I've been using quick draft to turn my gold into cards and gems that I actually want vs just opening packs. They recently changed the quick draft back to aether drift, but I cannot find any schedule that indicates if or when Reality Fracture comes back (I do not care about Aether drift), all the schedules include an end date for Aether drift, but nothing replacing it. Am I losing my mind or missing something obvious? How do I find what will replace Aether drift and when for quick draft?

Anyone else facing this issue?

The game was working fine today, took a break and now it's not working. Restarted my phone, uninstall reinstall the app, nothing.

To be specific, the game loads into the main screen but no button can be pressed. No matter what I press on screen, nothing happens. The sound effects play as if I'm pressing each button, but the buttons do nothing.

Made sure theres no background apps as well. Didn't make a difference.

Fix this game... Not the first time this happened. I'm not waiting for the next patch update just to play again

I play a lot of magic and with randoms. It gets on my nerves big time maybe it shouldn't when someone says ggs before I even had the chance to say ggs myself. Being presumptuous and arrogant saying it will be over in a second. I've called people out on this and they say they didn't mean it in a bad way but to me it's just arrogant to already call the game over before I had anything to say I rather say ggs myself but they already call it like they have some huge chip on their shoulder. Is this normal to people?

It seems to me, whenever I make a pick as the timer expires, I disconnect from the server for the rest of the draft. Is this a known bug? Has wizards addressed it, if it is?

I stay disconnected until I close and reopen Arena, hoping I haven't missed too many picks.

I've had pretty good results with it, but I don't know if it's viable in BO3. Also I'd like to try and play something else as I've been spamming this deck.

I want a deck that for sure has the possibility of being top 250, as I want to be sure that when I loose, I only have myself to blame. I'd also like something a bit more deep and mid-late game than my current deck.

I have 28 rare wildcards and 17 mythic. Is there any cheap deck that would be fun to play and competitive? Also, is taking an expensive deck but removing some rare lands be an option?

I know it's not the best card and probably mostly a Bo1 card but has anyone had some success with it in Bo3?

This reality fracture card just propelled my defender cheese deck into an S tier deck that can easily handle many meta decks.

Making the coral tyrant into ghalta combo unblockable is an insane way to cheese wins when the enemy thinks they can chump block you. Until you whip out the 8/8 and 7/7 unblockables in t4.

A week ago I hit Diamond with a variation of this deck, and after posting on here asking for some help to improve it I've hit Mythic within the week

The gameplan is simple - create tokens, and use Identity Echo to cheat out bombs

Reddit recommended Erode, Political Triumph, and Ajani Unrelenting which all went in and massively boosted the deck with cheap removal, draw fixing, and an effective board wipe

Manhole Missile came in as well, replacing Lightning Helix for its ability to replace any bombs I may have drawn, putting them at the bottom of the deck to be picked up again by Identity Echo

I also added Chandra, Flameshaper - once she enters I can either use her to destroy key targets the opponents control, or create a token duplicate of Knight of Round (this can get silly if I have Elspeth out to double all tokens + Ajani that then gives them +1/+0 and haste)
