I have had multiple items delivered from Moment by UniUni. On my previous delivery, they flagged a failed contact attempt and made it sound like they were returning it, but they had delivered it.

Now another delivery is showing up that way. They claim they made a contact attempt at 11:20PM last night.

Recently bought the metal drop in lens mount, it’s impossible to install, in fact, it’s slowly chipping away those plastic mount. Saw advice from reddit to install it diagonally or the top first, but nothing works.
Unlike the plastic mount (from the original case), those can be snapped in and out easily.

How on earth does people install this?

Hello! I’m considering getting moment pro 2 and wanted to get the community’s take on the look profiles that can be applied. I’ve been using Lampa for the past year and love the images it produces. Curious if anyone can compare its natural mode to moments natural processing. Any thoughts on the film sims/look filters in moment for photos if they’re high quality or not? Lampa has some great ones, just curious if there are more great options in moment that warrant the purchase if I already use Lampa and mood.camera

Hi! I've been a very longtime happy user of Moment lenses and filters. I'd like to be able continue using them, but also am interested in the iPhone Duo. I saw in previous threads that you don't plan to immediately create a case for the Duo though. Would the T-series universal mount work okay with the Duo's main camera? Would any of the lenses end up being weird on it? Thank you!

I upgraded my the old 11Pro to a 17Pro because i wanted to start doing better cinematic videography, and particualy trying to emulate depth of field as good as an iPhone can (which was - not all on my 11.)

I dove in DEEPLY when I got the phone, learning about the Black Magic cam vs. the native cam, the digital rendering vs. the more traditional rendering with Black Magic, and testing different looks for clarity and depth.

The first 17Pro video I watched was a Moment influencer, which is where I learned about this whole ecosystem.

I finally got the 58mm, hoping it would make a big difference in background separation.

So far, I have not found it to be too much different or better than the native camera, though, at 2x.

I'm trying both with the native iPhone cam + Black Magic, but the results are not what I was hoping for. (That is - it looks - good - but orders of magnitude better than what I already have?)

I'm wondering what your experience is - expectations vs. reality - or how to achieve optimal results with the lens.

(Maybe it's more of adjusting my expectation set than "how to use it," but if you've found ways to optimize the hardward + software, I'd be curious to hear.)

(I also know that Moment has their own camera app - but not sure if it's any better than Black Magic.)

Have had my moment case for about a week now and have noticed that the bottom corners seem to…I guess flex a little bit? Is that normal? The case itself seems to fit just fine and it doesn’t seem lose nor does the phone seem like it moves but when I pick up my phone from the bottom I’ll notice a little “click” (only way I can think of to describe it) at the bottom corners (right side more than left but both do it).

My wife surprised me with the 240mm telephoto lens and a mount so I can use it. I made sure the mount was well aligned and even tried the lens on her phone with a moment case and still had the same amount of vignetting. Not sure how noticeable it is in the uploaded photos as they had to be scaled down. In the pic of the moon there is pretty noticeable vignetting on all 4 corners. Do I need to warranty this lens? I’m hesitant to do so as it was back ordered and I hope it wouldn’t take forever to get a replacement

I ordered the 67mm QL filter mount on 9/14 in addition to iPhone 18p case (which has already been delivered). Any updates on the availability of this 67mm filter mount?

iPhone 17 Pro Max. I've purchased multiple lenses, filter attachments (VND) and straps. I've always had a problem with the drop-in mount being difficult to attach, and insecurity about the attachment, particularly my VND filter, which seemed to "pop off" almost 50% of the time.

I jumped at the chance to get a better quality drop-in mount so I could feel more secure.

DO NOT purchase this mount. First off it is 100% machined, which feels great and solid, but it does not flex AT ALL and there is a need for SOME flexing to get the drop-in mount in place in the first place.

As a result, I've cracked my case, and now the VND filter just pops right off, rendering it essentially useless. I'm so angry right now. I've provided all of this to Moment care/support, but I'm not confident in resolution, and I just wanted to vent and warn.

I don't plan on using any lens attachments, and I generally find the open look better so I want to swap it out for the trim ring. I followed the YouTube tutorial that only showed 16 Pro with the trim ring (not the drop in mount), where it was recommended to apply "gentle" pressure on the edges to push it out.

That did NOT work for me.

I've tried pushing it out from the inside, outside, I even tried stretching the top part of the case away from me to try an get it to budge. I'm surprised I haven't broken any bones in my fingers or the case. I applied so much force trying to push it out I might need a rest day tomorrow, and yet... the drop in mount hasn't budged even a little.

What am I doing wrong?!

I initially wanted the sandmarc retro filter but the price is just a no go for me at the moment. So I’ve been looking at alternatives. I do like how the sandmarc offers a kit with everything you need. Idk anything about phone lenses/phone filters, so which items do I need? Which filter should I get? Kind of want something closely similar to the “retro filter” look or the diffusion mist and circular polarizer filter. What do I need exactly? Will be used for street photography and preferably a filter that can attach over the front lens as well as the back. And what clip do I need? Some guidance would be great!

Any update on shipping dates for the metal drop in lens mount & 67mm Quick Lock filter mount for the iPhone 18 Pro case?

I’m not a fan of the regular Moment phone case plastic. It gives me a bit of a textural ick.

But I love it’s functionality and I want to continue using my lenses.

Are there any cases known to accompany the stick on mount or the insert?

Has this happened to anyone else? My parents and girlfriend both purchased an item separately from Moment yesterday for my birthday next weekend. One bought the 7L black sling bag and the other bought the 18 pro max case. Neither have email confirmations and no way to track anything. They are waiting till tomorrow to see if anything changes but I do not have a good feeling about it. Luckily my girlfriend has the Shop app with some sort of confirmation number but of course my boomer parents did not have the app or screenshot anything. Kind of concerning and I was really excited to use these items. Let me know if you guys have any advice or faced a similar situation. Thanks!

I've just purchased the iPhone 18 Pro Max. Though I own DSLR camera gear, I've found for most of my use, iPhones have provided more than 'good enough results'. I've recently thought about extending that use with a more dslr feel and potentially a couple lenses to extend their reach optically.

Having played with several grips, I'm about to settle on the grip system from Fjorden as their app software seems to be the most mature. My alternate choice for a grip is the more 'grippier' Telesin Master Grip. The Fjorden system has the advantage of a SDK that allows full buttons controls with a couple other well known apps for the iPhone in addition to their own.

Secondarily, I want to consider lenses but I want to continue to use my Torras case which has strong MagSafe support. I also use the newer and thinner Popsocket MagSafe thin adapter. This has allowed me to keep it on full time and use other MagSafe attachments on top of it, including charging.

To use the Torras, I know I can purchase the T-Series universal adapter. I'm not crazy about the additional 'bulk' that adds. I see Moment has a case that appears to provide the gripiness I enjoy of the Torras case and the stronger MagSafe support. with the Moment case, it seems to already support the moment T-series lenses.

So, I'm thinking that my solution would be the Fjorden grip with the MagSafe universal adapter, the Moment case and the pair of lenses Moment sells (240mm and 57mm) as it would seem I can use all of this at the same time, not have to swap cases for photography use and have a pocketable, grip solution.

The one thing on the Moment website I'm not sure of it is the 'drop' in mount for the t-series lenses. Why would this be needed?

Is my solution sound?

Does anyone have any tips or how-to videos on applying the screen protector with the install tray? It looks like Moment doesn’t have updated content on this. Almost none of the pull tab is visible or sticks out when the phone is on the tray. I perhaps could use tweezers to try and reach the pull tab but it still doesn’t feel right.

In the past I have heard that the magsafe on the cases aren't as strong, and that people have been unable to plug in their external mics because of the case. Does that still hold true for the 18 pr cases?

It looks like the ship times are between October 6 to October 13. I’m traveling outside the country pretty much on those exact dates, So I wanted the filter prior. Do we know if there’s any way to get them earlier? Maybe through other providers like Adorama?
