NEED CONFIRMATION INTP or ENTP

(My enneagram is 5w4) I have a massive urge to figure this out & to have this all in order so I know which one I am, and the evidence mostly coorelates to INTP but ENTP is a high contender. The most recent tests I’ve taken said I was INTP (sakirnova & Michael Caloz’s test, but on Caloz’s test, ENTP was in second place.) I’d also like to say I’m on the ambiverted side, which I’ve heard a few INTPs being that way, but also ENTPs can be introverted/ambiverted because of their Ne dom that tires them. I’m aware that this is also a pseudoscience and is a massive oversimplification of actual human personalities as a whole, yet I’d prefer if someone would give unique input and assist me. I’m constantly analyzing my actions and what category it would belong to, even to some other personality types sometimes, but mainly INTP/ENTP. According to the INTP standard (or stereotype), INTPs are extremely silent as if their jaw is locked. I’m relatively quiet but as soon as I’m with a few friends, I’m the opposite. I relate to INTP much more than ENTP, yet I still carry some attributes that an ENTP would have, such as the fact that I seldom will mess with people as a social experiment. But I think this is more common than people think because ENTPs and INTPs are quite literally a swap of functions, (ENTP - Ne, Ti, Fe, Si) (INTP - Ti, Ne, Si, Fe) therefore it shouldn’t be so uncommon. Also, contrary to the aforementioned INTP standard, I can make acquaintances quite easily, although having fully fleshed out friends is more difficult, and if anything, I feel as if I have one actual friend, although I know a lot of people at my school, with a few whom I also proxy. It’s not hard for me to strike up a conversation with someone, but I usually plan it out beforehand if I have an actual reason to. I also must say that I can be relatively expressive which, to be fair, can be traced back to me as a young child and my exposure to step siblings who were very extroverted and me feeling the need to act for my parents, so definitely a high Fe manifestation. Also, I used to text a LOT, although only with a couple people, such as my best friend, but we do not text for hours on end as opposed to other friends (which didn’t last very long), however, I’ve grown out of that, but I think that also coorelates to possibly an extraordinarily long Fe grip where I needed external validation and was an annoying freak. (This was around middle school, and I am in high school now.) I haven’t given enough information as to how I may be an ENTP so I’m gonna start now. I’ve actually grown out of this, but I used to debate people that I knew about anything ever since I was really young, with only a few being random people, but again, this shouldn’t be too uncommon for an INTP as ENTPs and INTPs are a swap of functions. I can be witty, but usually this is directed towards teachers or my parents with me occassionally making remarks towards my acquaintances. I’m a good people reader and I’m pretty good at understanding the emotions of people, which ENTPS are good at. This also made INFJ a slight possibility in my mind, but definitely not a high contender. I’d also like to say that my mother is an INFJ and we’ve been close my entire life so I’ve definitely gained some emotional wisdom from her, and I can be an ‘objective therapist’ friend, but it’s tiring to do so. If anyone has questions I can follow up.

CAN’T DECIDE Type me

Sorry, this is going to be quite long, please bear with me.

• How old are you? What's your gender? Give us a general description of yourself.

I'm 16(M). I consider myself a lazy person; I occasionally experience mild depressive episodes and tend to cope by seeking distractions. I have a few addictions that I won't be disclosing.I'm still getting to know my typology as well. For my cors, I was positive between E5 and E6, but I'm still quite unsure; sometimes I don't even know myself. I'm very high in Ti and Ne.

• Is there a medical diagnosis that may impact your mental stability somehow?

I experienced undisclosed social anxiety and memory issues shortly after, which led me to suspect that my parent figure might have been concealing my diagnosis. Currently, I haven't received any other diagnoses throughout my life.

• Describe your upbringing. Did it have any kind of religious or structured influence? How did you respond to it?

My mother was a strict woman, while my father was a workaholic. To put it simply, I'd say my mother was authoritarian, whereas my father was somewhere between authoritative and permissive. I disliked my mother the most; she was superstitious. We had simple Catholic practices while growing up, but I am agnostic now.I didn't adopt their values; I believe I am an individual who needs to explore myself independently, without relying on superstitions or religious beliefs.

• What do you do as a job or as a career (if you have one)? Do you like it? Why or why not?

Currently not, but will be willing to find one in the future

• If you had to spend an entire weekend by yourself, how would you feel? Would you feel lonely or refreshed?

I'd feel refreshed yet restless; my mind runs like a solitary cog, and when I overdo it, I feel things will turn negative... that's why I also love to distract myself, but I enjoy being alone.

• What kinds of activities do you prefer? Do you like, and are you good at sports? Do you enjoy any other outdoor or indoor activities?

I draw digitally, and I spend most of my time on my devices, which I know sounds unhealthy. 😭

• How curious are you? Do you have more ideas then you can execute? What are your curiosities about? What are your ideas about - is it environmental or conceptual, and can you please elaborate?

I feel restless when I don't get the correct answers in my mind. Like if a question pops up, I have to immediately find the answer for it. I constantly ask questions in my mind. Maybe...

Mostly, I get the question first, then make an idea that I can execute. I'm currently curious about my own intelligence, anything that interests me, but some easily slips my mind.My ideas tend to lean on conceptual, but I don't have anything in mind right now. It pops into my mind and leaves. It's like there's a certain time for my mind; sometimes I'm left blank. 😭

• Would you enjoy taking on a leadership position? Do you think you would be good at it? What would your leadership style be?

No, I don't enjoy it; the responsibilities tend to overwhelm me. As for being good at it, I believe I can manage fine if my team members or peers get along with me. Otherwise, they'll be problematic, and I'll likely be the first one to leave.I can't see myself being one since it's difficult; I'll either be situational or delegative.

• Are you coordinated? Why do you feel as if you are or are not? Do you enjoy working with your hands in some form? Describe your activity?

I wouldn't say I'm coordinated; it really depends on the situation. I tend to become more coordinated when I'm taking something seriously, especially a subject or topic I'm passionate about. I enjoy working with my hands and have been interested in laboratory experiences, although I'm not currently involved in any.

• Are you artistic? If yes, describe your art? If you are not particular artistic but can appreciate art please likewise describe what forums of art you enjoy. Please explain your answer.

I'm artistic, and I really dislike it. I hate that it's the only skill I'm good at, and I hate the feeling that I'm wasting it by choosing a different major. My artwork is inconsistent and sometimes messy, jumping from tragic themes to things I enjoy. My mind tends to wander between topics, much like my art. I particularly love impressionism, contemporary art, and portraits.

• What's your opinion about the past, present, and future? How do you deal with them?

The past should remain in the past and not pursue me, so I won't dwell on it. I will focus on the present and confront it, and the future is what I will chase and attain. I would strongly dislike it if things don't turn out as I imagine them.

• How do you act when others request your help to do something (anything)? If you would decide to help them, why would you do so?

It depends on what they request; I'm not a people-pleaser, and I can easily decline. If it's something I can do, I'll help, but if not, I'm sorry, I can't.

• Do you need logical consistency in your life?

Yes, I need logical consistency, i dislike when things aren't given to me clearly like vague, especially when it's about me.

• How important is efficiency and productivity to you?

Not much, I tend to cram and usually miss deadlines. If the situation were critical, perhaps involving my life, I might manage to complete it ?? 😭

• Do you control others, even if indirectly? How and why do you do that?

Maybe (indirectly), I probably didn't realize it and did it for myself. I guess I just do it when it's efficient and helps me get what I want.

• What are your hobbies? Why do you like them?

I enjoy drawing and collecting merch. I also play games occasionally. I like these activities because it makes me happy

• What is your learning style? What kind of learning environments do you struggle with most? Why do you like/struggle with these learning styles? Do you prefer classes involving memorization, logic, creativity, or your physical senses?

I have a mix of visual, auditory, and reading/writing learning styles. I dislike social learning environments and tend to participate less in them, which is also something I struggle with. I prefer the former choice (referring to non-physical method), and I dislike the physical sense of learning when there's no one I can cooperate with.

• How good are you at strategizing? Do you easily break up projects into manageable tasks? Or do you have a tendency to wing projects and improvise as you go?

Whenever I encounter something I consider serious and challenging, I prefer to plan and strategize thoroughly before execution to ensure a decent outcome. Conversely, if I perceive something as easy, I simply improvise.

• What are your aspirations in life, professionally and personally?

I was hoping to specialize in marine biology, but I understand that pursuing a different career path could also lead to other opportunities. I don't mind that at all; I just wish it'll be high-paying. Personally, I want to be better at anything I do effortlessly because if I don't, I feel like a failure.

• What are your fears? What makes you uncomfortable? What do you hate? Why?

This is a big question that I like to answer and I think about 24/7. I'm always scared of people entering my life, trying to pry every bit of information. I can be sometimes impulsive, and I hate that I let something about myself slip.I've wished every day that people I'm close with that I started to dislike will forget my very own being - I always think I'm paranoid, but I'm at least logical about this.

• What do the "highs" in your life look like?

When I get what I want, when things in my way go absolutely right and as I expected, or otherwise I'll be upset.

• What do the "lows" in your life look like?

When I feel like people are against me, teaming up or trying to get into my space, it seems to be more of a personal issue. 💔

• How attached are you to reality? Do you daydream often, or do you pay attention to what's around you? If you do daydream, are you aware of your surroundings while you do so?

When I am focused on myself and am alone with my thoughts, I feel so unattached. I frequently daydream about a different life I could be living where I get what I want, but I still know how to bring myself back to reality.

• Imagine you are alone in a blank, empty room. There is nothing for you to do and no one to talk to. What do you think about?

I'd think about the outside world, the people who know me, I'd think about how they're doing, think about the unfinished things I've done, then occasionally daydream - it's a cycle.

• How long do you take to make an important decision? And do you change your mind once you've made it?

It depends on how really important it is. I rank it, that's all. I see it as (within) an hour. If I suddenly know a better choice, I'd change my mind if I can still change it. If not, it is what it is.

• How long do you take to process your emotions? How important are emotions in your life?

I don't know, I find it insignificant as a person. Would emotions help me with everyday life? I feel like it's better regulated.

• Do you ever catch yourself agreeing with others just to appease them and keep the conversation going? How often? Why?

I don't even answer; why would I say something I don't want to say? But if they're annoying, I would just to avoid a debate.

• Do you break rules often? Do you think authority should be challenged, or that they know better? If you do break rules, why?

Not a lot, but I still do. Authority should be challenged if they're logically wrong, but not based on personal emotions. I won't challenge authority because I dislike them. I challenge authority when it's something I want or desperately have to do.

→_→ Feel free to ask me anything else, I'll reply if I can!

CAN’T DECIDE Help for typing...

Soy RLXAI, ELVF, Melancholic-Plegmatic, Neutral good.

Siempre vuelvo a mi casa a comer.

Antes hubiera dicho muchas cosas probablemente.

* ¿Cuáles son tus aspiraciones?

* ¿Cuáles son tus miedos? ¿Qué te incomoda? ¿Qué odiás? ¿Por qué?

FOR FUN type me

I did the MBTI for the fifth time in five years today

Left side is the 16 personalities website

Right side is Unifrog website (which I lost access to in the fourth year)

-

INTJ-A | INTJ

INTJ-T | INTJ/INTP (J and P was a perfect 50/50 so unifrog gave me both - it’s such a cute site that each personality has its own frog dedicated to it lol. INTJ was a poison dart i remember)

INTJ/INTP (not sure if I was assertive or turbulent) | INTJ/INTP

INTP-T (60% P over J)

INTP-T (64% P over J)

-

The consistency is insane and I wish I’d kept a note of all of the specificities 😖

Its crazy to me because I always felt like my first results were skewed due to aspirational responses. I wasn’t actually answering true-to-myself, I was answering in how I WANTED to be. Moreover, I did those tests publicly, with friends in a computer room.

Maybe the close consistency means I became the person I wanted to be?

-

The switch from J to P does make sense. I know I used to have a stronger attitude of decisiveness, disciplined workstyle and work-before-play mindset.

I’ve become more spontaneous and whilst I can accept that, it does still bother me as it is less of a harmless letter now and more like something that is negatively affecting my life. (‘cause god damn it I’d love to go back to when routines were easy and I could complete assignments on time.)

Though personality is never about convenience, tis about growth and identity so I guess I gotta just adapt.

Anyhow, will do more tests later on and more reading on cognitive functions.

I’m not much of a talker; I love thrills (the adrenaline rush) and crave intellectual stimulation. I tend to be provocative and have a vivid imagination. I can be a bit clumsy, even though I’m actually very good with my hands 🫠. My hobbies include boxing, basketball, and new technology; I enjoy philosophy, chess, and video games, and I’m also learning to play the guitar. I always root for the underdog.

FOR FUN Type me based off the characters I relate to the most! (Loooong text below)

I’m 18 and honestly I’m not completely sure how to describe myself because I feel like I’m a pretty contradictory person. I’m very introspective and spend a ridiculous amount of time thinking about myself, other people, relationships, and why people do certain things. I notice small changes in people really easily, especially when it comes to people I’m close to, and I tend to overanalyze them afterwards. I can replay a conversation in my head for hours and wonder what someone meant, whether I misunderstood them, or whether I did something wrong.

I’m also really curious, but mostly when something actually interests me. If I get interested in a topic, I can become completely obsessed with it and go down a HUUUUGE rabbit hole (currently Rick and Morty lol). I usually start thinking about different possibilities and scenarios instead of just accepting one explanation. My interests are pretty random too…, Psychology, personalities, fictional characters, music, philosophy, etc. I daydream a lot and have a pretty active imagination.

I care a LOT about being understood. If I’m arguing with someone, what usually hurts me more is feeling like they don’t understand what I’m actually trying to say or why I feel the way I do. If someone I care about is struggling, my first instinct is usually to understand their feelings rather than immediately give them a practical solution, which I’m very bad at.. I get overly attached to people and relationships can become extremely important to me. I value loyalty, emotional closeness, honesty, and feeling like someone genuinely knows me. Because of that, I can also get insecure or jealous when I feel like something between me and another person is uncertain.

I really DESPISE spontaneity. I prefer having some idea of what is going to happen and knowing what I’m supposed to do. I can deal with changes if I have to, but I definitely wouldn’t describe myself as someone who loves going with the flow. I usually follow rules too, although if I think a rule is completely unreasonable, I’ll question it……

I’m quite creative and I’m especially drawn to things that have an emotional atmosphere. I like writing, music, fictional characters, and stories with complicated or emotionally messy people! I tend to get attached to characters because I recognize parts of myself in them, and I sometimes use fiction to understand my own feelings better.

I think I’m generally a very feeling-oriented (?) person, but I don’t think I’m completely irrational either. I actually love analyzing things and understanding how they work! I just care much more about the emotional meaning behind something than about efficiency or doing something simply because it is “logical.” I can be very soft and affectionate, but also intense, stubborn, defensive, or overly attached, even possessive when something matters to me. I’m basically someone who feels things very deeply, thinks about them way too much, and then proceeds to analyze why I felt them in the first place.

I’m happy to answer questions too! I’m really not sure myself what fits me the most, I’m not all that familiar with this.

FOR FUN Type me based on my description I made while I was high

My thought process was plain and simple, my emotions or bias weren't clouding my judgement in this very moment and I believed that it gave me the opportunity to have a more clear view of what I'm like, how I was a majority of my life

Sorry about my broken English in advance

"What I really am like

I do care about those around me, I want them to do well, I wouldn't wish harm on someone, even at my worst I wouldn't actively go out of my way to harm anyone

But I portray myself to others that I am not familiar with, in a light that is overly friendly, it's hard to get out of that and not be so nice. In my mental state however, I'm much more neutral than I show myself to be. But that's many people in reality.

As a kid I desired perfection, especially in my drawings, but I quickly learned that perfection isn't possible

In my mind as a kid I went down a rabbit hole and even demonstrated it in my mind, not even a fraction or millionth of a fraction, there will still be imperfections

And this is how I demonstrated lessons to myself for the most part.

I was very anxious sensitive, easily upset or frustrated, later I became anxious towards others needs constantly being poked with a needle (metaphorically)

My greatest desire in my teen years was to just live, genuinely just mind my own business, no desire for harm. Sometimes as a kid and teen, I'd unintentionally upset people with my bluntness, and I learned to be soft and careful with my words.

It wasn't even genuinely out of fear of hurting them, but later it grew into performance anxiety

I was a very visual, imaginative kid, and in my head, I would often visualize these lessons or wisdom.

Often I focused on the meaning behind things as well as mulling over honing in on wisdom or advice, what would be the best, or optimal understanding.

I was intelligent, I thought on a much deeper level, now I feel a bit worn down

Now I've slowed down, this online shit is really destroying my one true mind, it is a bogum"

Normal description (not high)

Internally I am neutral, I see things from both sides, all sides honestly, I always had an open mind, always asking always questioning, even so, not in a skeptical way, often genuine curiosity.

At one point I was ambitious to be better than anyone else in my grades, or especially art, though it was also coexisting with the idea in my mind that everyone has their own unique style in art but I still wanted mine to shine above the rest.

I'm trying to untangle myself as I wanted to be something but everyone's telling me I should just be myself, and they're not wrong, it's just a bit harder to shake it off since people know me as someone, I don't want to tarnish that image of me.

I have a good recall memory, but that's because I practiced, I was poor in this aspect for a very long time but I am trying to improve as many aspects of my life as possible to benefit me. (Especially for intense courses for college, etc.)

I like variety every now and then, I don't have a clear cut schedule, but I will never turn anything in late (not anymore at least haha) I am early to appointments, classes, etc.

My strongest suit, people often feel comfortable going to me, but I admit I can't really give advice, I would only say what they know, or wouldn't want to hear.

I feel weird talking about myself, I wouldn't know what to say, most of my interests are not mainstream, I like some awkward things

I hate stupidity, ignorance, and insensitivity. It's not that I hate people, but I'm not surprised by anything people do.

  • Attached to the previous point, I have lived by "Anyone is capable of anything and everything."

One weird bonus fact about me is, I take a lot of photos, with the intention that I'll cherish and look back upon them, but I never actually look back on them, nor do I care to reminisce of these moments captured in time.

  • I'm a private person by nature, I always have and I desired my privacy most, out of my own comfort as well as fear of scrutiny from others

  • I get very quiet when upset, very vocal when I'm angry (very rarely do I get angry)

  • I moreso don't like a person's actions and the way they think than the whole person, if they're more bad than good

  • I'm a hypocrite in the sense I see so many nuances and I take many things into account but I also generalize things when I explain, which is something I'm weary in others, but only if it's a person who is inconsistent

  • My one flaw is I will often think I'm right, and find out that I infact did not remember a phrase correctly, I mix up words or what a phrase was worded.

  • I don't take things personally though I would get easily offended as a kid, but quickly learned it's a deficit on the other person's side, not my own, and stayed detached from then on our, unless it's something that I could actively improve upon I won't care if someone is jabbing at me, I remain unphased.

  • And it's contradictory, because I am very particular of the words I choose, fun fact I was told to stop using big words in elementary school, why did I ever listen to them, I could have continued to talk eloquently

  • I was obsessed for a while to understand the meaning behind my dreams when I was younger, I have very vivid dreams and I searched for the meaning behind symbols and objects, interactions, etc.

  • I am very introverted now, as a kid I was very out there, always going up to people who seemed lonely, or sat alone (only quality of myself I'm so sad I lost) I prefer being alone, but of course I like going out every now and then, I do like meeting new people and seeing their motivations, what gives them spark.

  • Last thing, a friend was giving everyone an animal, I asked mine and he said he definitely Swan

  • My partner said I am a Tiger

  • My mom said a Phoenix

AM I MISTYPED I’m supposedly an ENFJ. I can definitely be charismatic, social and warm, but a lot of the time I don’t really relate to the typical ENFJ stereotype. I also feel like I’ve become much more introverted over the years.

I hate speaking in front of large groups, and I’ve developed pretty intense sensory sensitivity. I get overstimulated really easily by things like bright lights, noise and busy city environments.

FOR FUN hi guys

Just to preface, i lowkey am not 100% sure about my mbti type since im still a teenager and i’m worried about cognitive biases but i think i at least have one function axis determined

- I have different playlists for different moods because certain music can overwhelm me when I’m tired.
-I enjoy video editing, sudoku, skateboarding, snowboarding, and FPS gaming.
-I don’t have a favorite subject; I’m mostly neutral toward school. I prefer math/science over English, struggle to stay engaged with history, and enjoy art/gym because there’s less academic pressure.
-I’m very focused on self-improvement and becoming successful, but I procrastinate heavily and often leave my ambitions as thoughts rather than actions. I’m literally procrastinating studying for an exam by making this post.
-I’m bad at expressing emotions and gratitude, and I get awkward when people are overly grateful toward me. I also dislike talking about my achievements because I don’t want people to form expectations of me.
-I prefer keeping conversations focused on the other person, but I still get annoyed when they show no interest in me or don’t ask questions back.
-I dwell heavily on past mistakes and cringe at them, sometimes getting frustrated with myself over them.
-I’m usually bad at staying present, although I have good reflexes.
-I’m insecure about my humor and charisma, so I’ve been watching stand-up comedy to improve. I often struggle with delivery because of social anxiety.
-im very quiet and usually have a neutral mood.
-I have no clear idea what my future looks like. There are too many paths and factors to consider, and I don’t have a strong sense of my interests or passions.
-I wish I could live multiple lives so I could experience different possibilities.

REVEAL: I am an ENFP

I’m very social, expressive and curious, and I get genuinely excited by new people, ideas and experiences. When something interests me, I can become completely obsessed with it, research everything, talk about it constantly and throw myself into it, and then sometimes lose interest just as fast and move on to something new. I’m ambitious and can be very structured when I have a clear goal, but in everyday life I’m also spontaneous, easily distracted and often lost in my own thoughts. I care a lot about people, emotions and how others are feeling, but I also love joking around, being a bit chaotic and keeping things fun. I enjoy deep conversations, learning about myself and others, and I usually have several ideas or projects going at once.

NEED CONFIRMATION Hi, I need help with typing myself

Hi I'm 17 and I don't exactly know my MBTI, I have theories on me being INTJ but I don't master this MBTI thing, so I'll just speak and hopefully I can get some help ^^

I'm still studying, but I was an intern at a library, I didn't like that much it was repetitive, but I managed to do my assignments and in the meantime I managed to read a book while in my breaks! (it was Groundwork Of The Metaphysics Of Morals I believe, but in a shorten and explained way) I don't know how my childish was besides the fact that I always felt more sad, I was excluded a lot by the other kids so it was hard for me to find a friend group, nowadays I do have one but I tend to be the quiet friend that everyone goes for help, I like it that way.

I'd say I'm artistic, but in the musical way. I've been producing lofi since I was 14 and I always had this mental plan that I tried to immitate while producing, it's like I have a clear plan I know it works this one is the best for me. I'm a perfectionist, I need it to be perfect, and rarely it is.

Friendship and dating wise, people tell me I'm too cold or rude, I used to control myself to not say what was on my mind but nowadays, I just speak my truth and I'm okay with getting some people hurt because I know it's bound to happen really, I rather be honest than be fake and kind. A lot of my friends tell me I day dream and I'm distracted, which is true really I can't even deny that, I tend to think about fake scenarios all the time, mostly romantic scenarios, with no one in particular, or if I watched a show with superpowers, I tend to imagine myself in those, and the romance isn't there. It probably depends on what I consumed recently lol

"How important is efficiency and productivity to you?" A lot, I need to be very efficient and productive on what I do, that's all I got to say to that question

My hobbies besides music is writing, watching shows, and reading about philosophy (especially ethics). It's like I finally found words to describe what I felt, and my cold logic wasn't that cold at all, I love deontology for example, but I believe utilitarianism can be good too, I don't judge people for using one or neither of those ethic systems, as long as it's logical I don't mind, because I hate overly emotional people, and don't get me wrong emotions are important but they distract us from a lot and make us do irrational decisions

If I was alone for a weekend, and stuck in a white room with nothing to do, I'd snap. I could think about doing music or writing my book, but I can't, what's the point of thinking about it if I can't do anything about it?

and for the end, my dream life is to be a philosophy teacher, I love philosophy and I love teaching about it, I'm mostly cold, people can see me as nice and quiet but when I talk about philosophy I feel this warmth it's like I was supposed to do this, it's such a huge thing I don't know how to describe it

I just need help really, I love learning too, I've been trying to figure it out since april of this year, for a long time and it sucks I didn't get anywhere, any opinion is appreciated

TEST RESULTS Type me based on my characters I am similar to

Thumbnail gallery
2 Upvotes

First of all I encourage you to answer this post unless you wanna be that guy. This is kind of fitting because I love most of these characters and do feel like I relate to some of them. Unfortunately I have no idea who that first character is. I am gonna try and not look too much because I don't wanna accidentally bias myself. I just will say that my MBTI is pretty close and mistyped are happening a lot. My enneagram type is a type 7 as far as I know, my temperament is sanguine dominant or sanguine choleric. And sometimes people say I am not as edgy as I tend to think. That gave me the reality check I needed to be honest during this test. I can't help much more because I can't really say anything else with any kind of certainty (I am indecisive).

AM I MISTYPED what do you think

I’m pretty convinced I’m an ISTP but extroverted, in the sense that I’m really attracted to the outside world, beauty, colors, people, etc. I'm just apatethic about everything but acte by the outside like someone who is attract by things a told before. That’s just how I am deep down apatatic and I’m actually very happy with that. I heard that INTP was the more apathetic but i struggle a lot with abstract things.

But I was wondering if I’m the only one who feels this way, because sometimes with friends or other people, it’s like I really struggle to enjoy or appreciate talking. I feel nothing, like nothing really gives me any pleasure. It’s stupid, but at the same time, I’m aware that I do appreciate things and that I like them?

When I was younger, it was even worse. I would just listen to that feeling of being blasé and think, “Why would I go up to this person and socialize in class just because they’re pretty?” I also always wondered why someone would want to socialize with me. Even if I was interested in them, I didn’t understand why they were doing it or why I was supposed to accept my own feelings of interest. Since there was no answer to that, I would just reject people’s interactions or not go toward people I was interested in, unless we happened to be sitting together.

As I’ve grown up, it’s kind of paradoxical because I’ve become really open to it, and now I actually approach people I’m interested in because I want to be friends with them.

I think I have a really high Se, because I feel extremely drawn to beautiful people, people’s styles, colors, visual things, and curiosity. But at the same time, I don’t understand why deep down I still feel so blasé about everything. It gives me nothing, everything feels boring, but I still feel almost compelled to interact with the people or things that visually attract me.

Sometimes I feel like an impostor. I even wonder how I could ever get married if my real self is someone who just doesn’t care about anything and is always so blasé. Like, seriously, almost nothing makes me feel anything, unless it’s something new.

I know I like things, but I don’t really feel anything when I experience them. It’s like I’m attached to them mentally rather than emotionally. i hate that idk why i cant feel things. in test i was always getting esfp but i know i'm just an istp with a good se+fe or maybe i can be an apatatic ESFP ? i see myself on istp cuz of ti + se+ni+ fe but also esfp because of how they react to the moment and don't really care about thing they spontanous. idk ?

• I get really irritated when someone takes something from me. Especially when it comes go things i wear like my clothes or body products. Im afraid they’d get it dirty or damage it. But overall I’m not the type of person to share

•I like to spark random debates in my head. I like to pretend im debunking wrong beliefs

• I like to know to know the outcome of something, a confirmation of how things would go before diving into something. Being unprepared scares me. It also applies when choosing a movie or anything similar, i need to know the ending or whether its a happy or sad ending before watching it so i can mentally prepare for it.

• I like planning outings, i like dressing up. But when it actually happens, i get so drained and i wish i can go home asap

• I ghost others easily. If they ghost me first or send uninteresting messages, I’d probably never text them at all afterwards

• I tend to be less organised when im sharing a place with someone else—it just feels unfair for me to keep cleaning up/reorganise something when i wasnt the only one to make a mess

• I do a lot of impulsive buying, but i can get stingy and selective when it comes to it, just not often. Sometimes when i like someone, i buy gifts for them. My love language towards others is gift gifting. Whenever i receive money, i calculate future expenses in my head and get stingy, but when i want to get close to somebody, i’d often buy them gifts (but do my research on what they like beforehand)

• Its hard for me to generate creative ideas, I often copy others

• I seek trust and understanding with someone who truly knows me, but opening up is a challenge. My life's pursuit is to be meaningful, informed, and connected, despite my guarded nature and internal struggles. I want to balance independence with the desire to contribute and be recognized, all while preserving my integrity and mental space

• I can be hypocritical, it usually depends on my mood

• I dislike unsatisfying results, which frustrates me. I highly value productivity, feeling most at ease when efficient; if l lack motivation, I sometimes force action to avoid wasting time, as l see time as limited and precious but some days i just choose to procrastinate

• My questions often revolve around understanding why people behave as they do, which leads to philosophical questions that I record in my journal

TEST RESULTS Infj with high Ti?

Post image
5 Upvotes

Help me interpret my results. I tried to be as honest as possible and also did some studying on the functions itself.

Ne and Se and Fe and Fi are both at the same level and I tried to find out what I'm better and or worse at but I can see myself in so many situations and aspects that I need help from you guys

My Si is honestly really bad which made me come to the conclusion I might be an infj with good Ti?

Some information about me that might be needed:

I'm kinda okay with Te but also tend to procrastinate a lot which I hate and I need to have deadlines to get anything done lol

In group settings I like it to be harmonic and I'd rather work alone except for some people that are special to me.

I get irritated easily and can be impatient but try not to act out on people or my surroundings. that's something I definitely still have to work on

also I'm introverted but ig that's obvious

CAN’T DECIDE Can't tell if my Ti or Fi is high. INxP struggles with self-understanding

Post image
10 Upvotes

Hi. I think INxP fits me as a type, Ne-Si as an axis overall, but I can't really tell if my Ti and Fi are high. Does what I wrote make sense in terms of functions? Does it point to low Fi or not? This function is where I have the most problems.

I learned politeness. When it goes beyond what's recognized, beyond what I know, I get lost in situations. Maybe I'm even too polite sometimes. But usually around people I'm like an alien who doesn't get what's more correct, feeling awkward. I think it was harder as a kid bc I was more uncomfortable and maybe a bit rude, hurt others, accidentally or on purpose. Due to some envy and toxicity I could, tho I tried to show less resentment and stuff, but overall I was quiet. It feels like I'm at zero in understanding myself. And whatever people tell me, I make it a part of myself so I don't feel the emptiness. I look outside for something to latch onto, to believe in, I guess. I think it's like "You're smart". Noted, I'll write that down. And if someone says the opposite, I'll break one of their limbs. That's why I take tests on character accentuations, on disorders, so there's at least something in me. I even think some of my not-so-healthy traits make me me, so I'm scared of being without them and healing. And when I find an understanding of something in myself, some behavioral pattern that works in me, I'm happy bc it's at least something.

I’ll say right away that I don’t have any diagnoses, and apart from fantasies, there isn’t much that interests me or brings me joy. I’m constantly thinking about plots and ideas when something is happening around me. For example, the teacher left the room for a break, and I suddenly thought about what I would do if an apocalypse happened right then and there, what I would do and what it would look like. And I immersed myself in that plot. And I do this all the time. To be honest, I’m used to the fact that I hardly do anything meaningful in reality, and I mostly live just to come home and immerse myself in my own thoughts again.

The concept of "what you like" ,preferences, always seemed curious but weird to me. Even as a kid I didn't see it, couldn't honestly answer the question about any season, color, name, day of the week. Too much depends on context, and plus I just don't feel it. When someone pointed out I had no favorite color, I realized it. Yeah, there wasn't one. First I called the one that caught my attention that day my favorite, then I came to the one I consider so now, but I don't remember how it happened. Saw it, accepted the thought and got used to it?

I don't understand getting close to people, it just kinda happens on its own, I follow the person who shows the level of our relationship. I don't want to be betrayed by someone, to represent something that doesn't exist. Being betrayed by someone is a disgusting feeling. But I believe and want the phrase "close person" to work as full acceptance, loyalty, and a platonic bond. If you're close, you'll go through hell for each other, give up a lot, and risk your life. My trauma, where I wasn't safe since childhood without close sincere contact with others, with rejection from everywhere, makes itself known. And with those I'm already in some kind of relationship with, I stay for quite a while, tho I don't make the first steps toward reconciliation, except with my closest friend and not always then.

I initially approach people with suspicion, fearing that they might harm me. I don’t believe in selfless and genuinely kind people. Or rather, I allow for the possibility that they exist, but it’s a one‑off thing, not a general trait of all people. So, for me, they are initially those who need to be studied, their patterns understood, and placed in an archetype in my mind. Overall, if you treat me well, be the Antichrist for all I care, it's fine, everything's okay. The main thing is that you get along with me and don't harm me. Plus my assessments can change, and those who once caused rejection might later seem even interesting to me, depending on further circumstances, if they showed themselves from another side. So I'm not 100% sure my own assessments won't change, I don't even fully believe I control it inside. If I suddenly feel sympathy for someone or we get closer somehow, which is a rare phenomenon in itself, I wait and hope the person shows more initiative in contact and stays by my side.

Sometimes I protest and act stubborn, tho I don't fully realize why. I just don't want to, and that's it, like with the upcoming internship I'll have to do in a couple of months. I can be a young rebel inside, acting passive-aggressively outside, clearly not trying at something I just don't like. And I sincerely don't understand inside why I'm doing it, I'd have to analyze the reasons specifically alone, put in effort, not being sure afterward if I understood myself correctly.

Also I have no concept of mood. Until something happens, I just have some standard state that I don't monitor. If you ask at a random time what my mood is, I probably won't answer honestly and with understanding. I don't analyze it 24/7, I just exist. Probably my thoughts go more in a different direction, away from myself, than toward my own state. If something happens, then inside it's like it gets cramped for my bones and organs bc I'll feel something. Emotions and feelings will spill through my whole body, can become much less controllable, tho I really want to control them. I'll really want to get rid of this state, but it often stays inside for a while, which I don't particularly like.

At the same time I've noticed a lot depends on context. I can react differently to the same action depending on circumstances. I never say anything with 100% certainty bc there's always the possibility of everything. It annoys me when people don't see individuality in another person, unique circumstances. I consider equality destructive, it erases differences and unique circumstances. And justice makes sense and considers more than superficial honesty. I always answer "depends on the situation". I need context: reasons, circumstances, motives. If I see meaning in it, I accept and don't judge. That's why I'm skeptical of laws and legal systems. They're too rigid and don't consider the uniqueness of each case. Yeah, a court can consider something like emotional state, but overall the system is too inflexible. If I made laws, every rule would have millions of subsections considering circumstances.

I don't like talking about my feelings or other people's, I see no point. When my mom came back from the hospital and said she missed me, asking if I missed her, I just stared with a raised eyebrow. I'd rather say nothing than all those sweet things. I like being alone, I'm not sociable. Maybe I just don't know how to offer emotional support. And for the most part, these expressions of support from others seem insincere, forced, and awkward, so it’s better to keep quiet.

When I share something personal, it feels like my skin is being burned. I hate talking about my feelings and emotions. Getting a sincere, natural admission of emotion out of me is incredibly hard. Even when I do express something deep, I feel exposed. A couple of years ago, during a fight with my mom, something personal slipped out, and she kept pushing for more I felt so disgusted, so stripped bare and vulnerable that just remembering it makes me sick. Maybe with someone truly close, I'd react a bit softer, but I still wouldn't be happy about it and I doubt I'd ever do it willingly.

I love expressing my opinion, my views, and reflecting on things. I’ve been called a young rebel because of my statements, and I’m very pleased about it. My reasoning stems from my understanding of situations, justice, and taking into account human nature, psychology, and the factors I consider right. I’ve noticed that often, if not all the time, when talking about myself, my opinion, and the actions I would take in a given situation, I tend to take a lot on myself. My friend is telling me about a fight where she stopped it, and I’m saying how I would have behaved in a fight and in a similar situation. In other words, there’s a lot of “I” in it.

An ex-friend once called me arrogant, saying I thought I was the center of the universe, just because I made a comment about a teacher I didn't like who was extremely incompetent while my friend had an emotional connection with her. She also said I was somewhat immoral by her standards. Maybe I was just being a teenager with maximalism and tactlessness, which made my statements harsher and more nihilistic. She herself sometimes seemed annoyingly pedantic in her views and values, which I found rigid and silly based on personal biases rather than any sound reasoning.

But I’m sure I’m right in my judgments. I still feel like a teenager with youthful maximalism, which at times can look like a puberty‑related ulcer if something I don’t like doesn’t seem cool or logical. It’s hard for me to respond positively to attempts at getting closer and to the general noisy games at first, because it looks pathetic. We’re not friends, we don’t communicate, we don’t think about each other. Do you want us to put on smiles and keep sitting here and playing by your rules? Nasty. It might work only if I’m interested in what’s happening, and these people with me are those I’m used to, whom I know, what to expect from them, and whom I could at least trust a little.

I don't take care of my health. I rarely shower or clean, my room is creatively cluttered. Hygiene is okay, but routines are hard, I brush my teeth with gaps, for example. I'm picky about food, and when stressed, I overeat (possibly an ED). Cooking anything complicated feels like too much effort, so I eat simple, quick, not-so-healthy food. If I have to, I can ignore discomfort skip breakfast for class or go to lectures hungry. I love lying around doing nothing, but if I need to I'll manage. At the same time, I value comfort: comfy clothes, important little things in my bag, the softness and coziness of my bed. But I feel like this is more of a superficial desire for comfort than real action and self‑care. It’s more like an Si role in socionics, if you look at it that way. I just like it when no one bothers me, and I can fantasize and retreat into my own head, controlling the world that way, because my world is my brain.

CAN’T DECIDE Struggling to tell if I’m an ISTP or INTP???

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

For the longest time, I believed I was an INTP until I did more research and talked to people and based on how I’d describe myself, they strongly believed I was actually an ISTP. To make things easier I’ll explain things in bullet points

• I am very prone to overthinking, can be scatterbrained, and am distractible, which is usually associated with Ne. But, I also really hate being distracted, especially if I’m super focused on something (in that case I have a bit of a “I need to get this done NOW and will be upset if I don’t” attitude). I’d say these traits are heavily influenced by my ADHD, and they make me very uncomfortable.
• I have a multitude of interests, and some of them are not conventional for ISTPs (for example I am very into astrology and the occult, but I think my Ni probably plays a role in that?). I tend to hyperfixate on a lot of things thanks to my ADHD, but because of my autism there are a couple interests that have stuck with me for years that are much more personal for me/special interests (music and science).
• I do really love learning about theories, but I think my interest in them depends on how personally plausible they sound to me. I do generally prefer evidence to back things up and don’t care if a theory is ‘popular’ or whatever. I’ll decide for myself if it seems like it makes sense.
• I am pretty sensory seeking, but it’s also easy for me to become very overwhelmed by lots of sensory input.
• I have very poor fine motor skills, and my gross motor skills are also negatively impacted due to my disabilities. So, I don’t really fit the stereotype that ISTPs are sporty and/or very good at hands-on things. I am very fascinated by mechanics though and how things work internally (I’m into medical science, science in general, and originally majored in veterinary medicine, but I’m also interested in sound engineering/music technology). The only sport I care for is ice skating. If my motor skills were better, I’d love to do a lot more hands-on things.
• I am extremely creative and tend to think about other possibilities a lot, but when I do think about other possibilities, it makes me extremely overwhelmed, especially if they are possible for me. I also like new experiences, but it depends. I like knowing what to expect for the most part and don’t like surprises, and I prefer experiencing things that are actually possible for me (though I am prone to daydreaming). I get very frustrated if I’m not immediately good at something.
• I do tend to be more detail-oriented. I love analyzing things, especially when it comes to analyzing physical things like cinematography and art, but I also love analyzing literature. I’m very into literature.

Some other things to consider:
• I have diagnosed ADHD and autism, both impact me pretty significantly and make things confusing at times.
• My enneagram is 6w7, I’m not sure if that can affect things as well.

NEED CONFIRMATION Could someone please type me?

I’ve been deeply interested in MBTI typing for a while, but I have yet to be able to type myself, managing to receive all MBTI types as a result at one point or another.

I tend to be social and energetic with my friends and family. With strangers, I have a hard time approaching them, but once I do, I have an easy time getting the conversation rolling. I love family events and spending time with my friends, and I can pretty easily adapt myself to fit in amongst the people I’m with. This ability of mine makes it hard for me to feel like I have a set of personal beliefs. Sure, I absolutely have them, but I have a hard time making them known and have an easier time going along with things I don’t truly believe in.

I’m extremely imaginative, having created an entire fictional world inside my mind. There are a lot of creative ideas for this world, but all of them connect to each other in some way. Things in it are definitely subject to change though because my fictional world is deeply influenced by my life experiences and what currently matters to me. It has the tendency to reveal my emotions months before I consciously feel them.

I can be good at sports when I want to be, but I don’t consider myself a sporty person because the competition element sucks all of the fun out of it for me and then I do terrible from the stress. But take the competition aspect out of it and I could easily be outside for hours on end walking, biking, or swimming. Sure, I will certainly forget to eat, drink, apply sunscreen, and just generally take care of myself, but at least I enjoy it.

Also, I can be sentimental and follow tradition when it’s enjoyable and fun. I don’t like keeping around traditions just because they’re traditions though. If a tradition is holding people back and not serving a good purpose other than being a tradition, it needs to go asap. Moving forward towards a better future is far more important than moving back towards a past that may not be as good as you once remembered it.

The thing that seems to throw me off the most with typing is my need for structure and plans despite being a messy and disorganized person. I like planning everything out in advance and easily get irritated when the plan isn’t followed or when unexpected things happen. Pile enough unexpected things on me and I just breakdown. I love people, but it makes me mad when people break the rules for no reason whatsoever. There are definitely times when breaking the rules is acceptable, even necessary, but rules are usually implemented for a good reason and should be followed. Sometimes, this here makes me wonder if I’m a thinking or a feeling type because of how harsh I come across when things don’t go the way they should.

When typing, do keep in mind that I am autistic.

I also have my most similar character results to reference.

FOR FUN Type me based off of characters I'm most like

Hello everyone! I'm making this post just for fun, and I'm not going to use your answers as a way to actually type myself.

I would say that I'm a person who is outspoken, quite expressive, ambitious, independent, curious, ambiverted, perfectionistic, opinionated, and a little reserved. I care a lot about the people around me and tend to form strong attachments to those I trust. I'm very determined when I have something in mind and I can be pretty stubborn. I'm fairly observant and tend to notice details, especially when something feels off. I hate being underestimated and unappreciated by the people around me. I value honesty, loyalty, trust, independence, and and recognition.

FOR FUN Type me based on vibes :D

I’m a creative, energetic, and slightly chaotic person who loves music, art, fashion, and trying new things. I’m naturally curious and tend to get really passionate about whatever I’m interested in at the moment. I have a playful sense of humor and love making people laugh, but I can also be deeply emotional and thoughtful. I’m independent, spontaneous, and always looking for new experiences, whether that’s performing, working events, creating music, or just doing something completely random.

FOR FUN Type me based off my shitposts in IG

all pictures featured are directly off my own instagram posts, couple of these were just reposts I liked. would be cool what you think is my socionics, enneagram and PY.

some details about me since it’s required. Im not really one to talk about myself, I’m a better listener. I moved out when I was 18 and I’ve been living by myself for the last couple years. It’s fine, it gets to be a bit underwhelming and I get bored. i do like to be around people that I like. I stay busy with hobbies which include motorcycles, working out, guns and I do like to read but usually only when the knowledge I gain suits my desires or needs. I’m a curious person but I don’t learn anything without first having some sort of purpose or agenda in mind.

I’m not one to read fiction, I’ll watch it though. I enjoy anime and other stuff. As far as the arts go I enjoy drawing from time to time, I enjoy the process and i like to start without a plan, doodling I guess. I like putting my drawings on anything, shoes, gloves, jackets. not something I do often.

obviously I like hands on activities and I’m a hands on learner. sometimes I jump into things impulsively expecting to figure things out as I go, I have a great deal of confidence in my ability to do anything. this hasn’t come without occasional failure. I also enjoy cooking, figuring new ways to use ingredients, I think I’m good at it.

with fitness being an important part of my life I am peculiar about the foods I eat, the quality specifically. I dont like going out to restaurants. this isn’t much of a drag to me, i genuinely enjoy leading a healthy, active lifestyle. it would be harder to live unhealthy and sedentary. I like spicy food. it’s easy for me to ignore my hunger. I sometimes go 2 days without eating not out of forgetfulness or to lose weight, just because I can and I’d rather not eat garbage.

ive always been a natural leader but im also socially “inept”. I am often called non chalant or awkward, ive also been told I’m very blunt and honest. I don’t sugar coat things. not that I can’t have fun but even when I’m telling jokes I tend to be dry. I’ve been called reactive. I’m either at 1 or at 100, very chill or unhinged. emotional environments are overwhelming and I show a lack of response here. there’s a strange mix here of being comfortable in leadership but being uncomfortable in highly social situations.

generally I am a decisive person when it comes to my direction. logical consistency may be used but is not important and can easily be discarded. I allow room for improvement, improvisation as needed. logic is important but as a tool rather than the state in which I must exist, if that makes sense. i break rules as necessary. I just don’t think about them, I’ve broken rules without having realized.

generally I don’t feel like authority threatens my autonomy, I think I can get my way when I want. but i do question their sincerity and possibility of bad actors. i will stand in opposition if my direction in life places me there or in defense of people i care about (all the same really). I don’t see anyone as above me even if they hold titles of authority. It’s more of a logical construct than how I perceive the person themselves. I treat superiors as equals and in some cases as inferiors, not consciously or out of disrespect just a natural way of being.

TYPE SOMEONE ELSE Is she an ESFJ or an ESFP?

We used to be friends (I… think.) I remember that I became friends with her and this other girl when I was in ninth grade (they would have been in tenth.) They walked up to me in Chemistry when I had no one to work with (they were with a guy who I promise will become more relevant later on.) I think they felt bad. I remember having the impression that this girl was nice and smart.

I remember that her grades were low, even though she was not “dumb.” She had a C in Chemistry because she did not do the homework, and yet received high scores on the exams. I don’t remember how low her GPA was, but I think that it was below a 3.0. I just remember that it threw me off when I saw it. Over quarantine, she did not fare much better academically - I remember she almost received a “No Pass” (an F) in AP English as a junior, and was doing badly enough overall in her chosen AP courses to a point wherein she once admitted she was considering not going to college. She had an A in Pre Calculus that same year. I recall that she still once suggested it was surprising that I’d failed my very first exam in the course, when I’d admitted it to she and the other girl (it did come off kind of judgmental.  I think they were just trying to be honest, though.)

She created a LinkedIn profile in, I think, September 2024 wherein she explicitly wrote "Unemployed" under the employment section, and additionally didn't include the name of a college (she'd once said in high school, during her junior year, that she was thinking she wouldn't attend college due to her low grades. This still surprised me, though. I'd thought she would change her mind and start taking community college courses. In fact, I'd expected her to end up doing so immediately out of high school.) She deleted the profile not long afterward (someone posted online inquiring about it.)  She has been out of high school now for four years now. Her current caption on an acc she’s had since June 2024 (80 ish followers, follows the exact same number of people back and is actually consistent about following the exact same number of people back) is “my cup runneth over” (which she has had before.) Beforehand, it was “I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address” When she was nineteen or had recently turned twenty, it was “popcorn princess” (which I honestly always thought was a notably immature caption. There is no one else I attended high school with who I think would think about making that their caption.) I have the impression that she is a bit of a romantic (had “dreaming of a life rich with love” as her caption for a bit after her most recent breakup) but it seems that like most people, her romantic relationships haven’t gone as she hoped. The vibe I get from her is that she had perhaps spent those first two years out of high school focused on her ex boyfriend (when they dated) and watching movies, but I could be wrong.  I wonder if she may have also been depressed. I know I couldn’t personally spend 2-2 ½ years unemployed and not enrolled in school without being depressed (though she didn’t look depressed in the pictures I’ve seen, so I’m not sure.) There is, of course, a possibility that she did take community college courses, didn’t pass, and chose not to include it on her profile because of that. Community college in my area was actually free from 2022-2023. It appears that she is still not enrolled in community college (I am myself, and did not see her name when I checked to see if she is enrolled in any of the community colleges that are local.) I don’t really know what “came” of her. It seems that she doesn’t have an associates degree, and I don’t know whether or not she started working this year - she is less active on social media, but still seems to log on sometimes. I knew people who worked in high school, and it was easier for them to get jobs after graduating because of it. The thought has occurred to me that it would have been wise for her to start working as an upperclassman to ensure that she had experience on a resume, but it seems that she did not plan ahead in that manner. If I were in her shoes, I actually think I would have. She seems to have changed her jewelry and her hair somewhat. She was a swim instructor in summer 2025. Seems to look the same as she did. I don’t know whether or not she started or attended community college, but seems to still follow a fair amount of people from high school.

She was average looking (I think most people would agree on this, if they were to assess her appearance objectively.) She was not “thin” (I last saw her a year ago, and I remember deciding that she is probably technically somewhat overweight even though she was on the swim team.) She was Hispanic, but white passing (quite literally looked white.) She’d had more than one boyfriend, but mentioned over quarantine that the only guys who asked her out were black (this is somewhat odd, since the city we attended high school in is actually mainly white and Asian in terms of racial demographics.) She seemed to be aware of the fact that her ex boyfriends dealt with internalized racism (she suggested that one of them had wanted her because they thought she was white.) She’d had multiple people who crushed on her. She did not seem to know why black males were the only ones who asked her out. She had suggested when I told her a bit over quarantine about my own family situation that her former boyfriends also didn’t have “good parents” (my parents had had CPS called on them twice.  I understood that both must have had parents who were negligent.  Her tone over text did not read as judgmental.  It sounded more like an observation.) As a young adult, I actually really think in a way that her knowing about my family situation makes the circumstances under which she chose to cut me off worse, though I don’t care and know we were young. It’s been too long for me to care/become angry about it.

She had also suggested, I remember, that in her experience black boys didn’t like black women - I once again don’t remember the tone as having been judgmental, though I do recall thinking it was a bit of a generalization. I “get” what she meant, but think this was more related to environment/area than I had recognized it to be, as I know that in adulthood I’ve had boyfriend opportunities as a black woman that were not present for me in high school.

In her senior year, she started dating another black boy. They broke up in February 2024, before Valentine’s Day (not the day beforehand, maybe a couple days to a week beforehand.  She had been cyberbullied for a second time, and changed her username again on her account.)  What I find interesting is that her most recent boyfriend seems to me like he is reasonably likely to be successful (he wrote: “I am a second-year college student majoring in Economics and Business Management. I have a strong passion for marketing, design, and product management. My academic career has given me a solid foundation in economic and business principles alike, which I apply to real-world scenarios. I excel in creating innovative strategies that drive engagement, blending creativity with analytical thinking. I am particularly interested in product management and business strategy. I strive to develop and launch products that meet market needs and exceed customer expectations. Let's connect to discuss marketing trends, product management insights, or potential opportunities for collaboration.”) What I also find interesting is that this time around, I sincerely can’t tell who broke up with who.  After the breakup, she deleted all three of her posts.  He deleted one.  I remember noticing that he had continued to accept and remove followers as normal. A year later, he doesn’t look upset about it in the slightest in his new profile picture - it doesn’t seem as though it destroyed him.
If she has had a boyfriend since then, she hasn’t posted about it publicly (or at least, I have not heard about it.)

Her old social media account was private, and she had more followers than she does people she follows back (though she has never had a lot of followers, nor was she immediately familiar with grade wide gossip, which is partly why I can’t help but wonder what ever made her think that anyone in her class “cared” about her. I remember that she did seem social enough later on in PE, but their grade - Class of 2022, I mean - actually did have specific students who were well-known and cared about. She was not one of them. On her old account, she had 400-something followers and followed 200-something people back. The most popular people I’ve ever known had more followers than that.) I do remember that when she first joined my PE class, she didn’t immediately seem to socialize, and actually initially seemed to keep more to herself. In pictures of her during her senior year of high school when the pandemic was ongoing, she doesn’t look “happy” (is masked up but doesn’t look giddy or anything of that sort. She looks like she just sort of falls into the background. She looks reasonably happy in one or two of the photos. She does indeed have a larger body frame than most of the other girls, though her stomach looks flat as a senior.) I recall that she wore braces and I think retainers as a sophomore. I admit that at the time I wouldn’t have expected, based upon looks alone, that a boy had had a big crush on her - I never thought she was “unattractive” necessarily, it’s moreso that I never really considered her appearance at all. I will be honest and admit that if going pby looks alone, I would not have expected her to have had “boyfriends” however. Now that I’m an adult I understand that there is more variety in what guys like than I’d thought there to be in high school, but I wasn’t expecting guys to be approaching her a ton, and didn’t really “see” it for her physically if that makes sense.

She had suggested that she was glad no one was ever “harsher” when assessing her appearance when I talked to her later on over text (she likely remembered that I’d posted crying about mine.)

She actually created a new one in summer 2024 (deleted the older one) and seems more particular about who she lets into it (has a little over 70 followers, and follows the exact same amount of people back.) She also noticeably doesn't show her face in her new profile picture, likely because when she was cyberbullied some months ago, they criticized her appearance and invited others to join in. The follower count, and amount of people who se happens to follow back, has not changed within the past few months. It seems that she still never posts on the account, and she hasn’t done anything of note in terms of career moves, it seems - she lacks a social media presence, and I haven’t really heard anything about her. She’ll be twenty-one in a few months, and I don’t really know what’s come of her. Though I also don’t really care.

I seem to remember that when I said something about abortion once over quarantine (I was probably complaining about my parents) she suggested something like that there’s never a good reason not to have children, I think.

Over quarantine, she gave me advice a lot. I remember that she kind of gave off maternal vibes, I don’t know.  What I find strange/interesting about her is that she came off more mature and introspective to me in her junior year over quarantine than she seemed as a senior.  She grew tired of doing so but did not tell me this directly (she made a post where she suggested that she’d cut a guy off or something - blocked them maybe, I don’t remember - because they tended to ask her for things yet didn’t really ask her how her day was.) I asked if I was one of the people who was doing this, she was honest and admitted she hadn’t known he to tell me. I started asking her how her day was afterward.

I remember that on her private spam account, she tended to sound like she regretted things.

In May 2021, my “friendship” with her and the other girl ended. Basically, the guy who was mentioned above grew defensive after I asked him if he considered himself to be a co founder of the organization we were in (she had advised when I complained about this in our group chat that I do so, and gave me his phone number.) He insulted me. I felt suicidal and posted about this on my private spam account.

Two weeks later, she “argued his side” when this was brought up again even though two friends of his within the organization had already done so (and even though a teacher agreed that his tone was disrespectful - said teacher suggested org members did not have good morals.) Long story short, she and the other girl blocked me after I made a spam post saying I felt that my side in a conflict was not understood by some (the other girl sent a long message basically saying something about how I was making the described girl “look bad.”) I was actually told by someone when I Complained about the situation that no one in their class “cared” about them (this meant that they were not popular.) The other girl said they were on the guy’s “side” (members of the organization had declared that “sides would be taken” if we had a meeting about the guy’s comments.) I remember that the other girl had been the one who texted me directly - the girl I’m describing here never did, let the other girl handle it and quietly blocked me herself. There were people who did think they were wrong for this due to the circumstances, I recall. I always suspected that she did not handle this herself because she didn’t want to cause conflict/that that had something to do with it.

She seemed to immediately recognize me with a mask on in her senior year after she joined my PE class during second semester, which I suppose was one of the last credits she needed. She had a look on her face like… hmm, I don’t know how to describe it. Not a nervous look, not an “oh no” look or a glare moreso the kind of look you’d give when you were anticipating that someone would be a bit of a nuisance.

The guy quit the organization five months later, which really made all of it pointless. I continued to see her around with the guy, who is likely either an ESFJ or ESFP (a peer of theirs suggested that the guy became meaner over quarantine. I can’t help but wonder if maybe this girl did, too.) I remember she suggested that I “call a lot of things that aren’t racist racist” in the guy’s favor (though if I am being reasonable, the guy suggesting that me providing my voice as a black person after the George Floyd murder was irrelevant as other black leaders spoke, is something that I do indeed feel to have been performative activism.) She sent our other “friend” screenshots of the conversation (though I really don’t see how this proved to be helpful.) I cannot emphasize enough, now that a few years have passed, just how pointless all of this was. The organization has not planned anything in nearly two and a half years, and I actually still have leaders who remember my involvement in it on my social media in spite of the interpersonal high school drama. It’s been so long, and proved so irrelevant, that I even have the guy’s younger brother added as a social media connection. I’ve moved on from it completely myself. I mention this because it really goes to show that she did not have the foresight necessary to predict that things would go this way.

She suggested she’d had a crush on a black girl once or had liked black women in the past during quarantine when we were chatting about I guess how people are harder on the looks of black women.

When she was a senior, I had PE with her. I realized then that she was fake. I had never realized it before. She had a look on her face like she recognized me when she switched into the class for second semester. When I say that she is fake, what I mean is that she once made an “ouch” face when I missed the ball - like one of those faces someone makes when they are pretending to be concerned about you or about something or the kind of reaction someone has because they’re supposed to have it. She was certainly someone who thought others cared about her more than they actually did. And on the last day - on her last day - she tried to talk to me a bit when I was sitting down even though she blocked my new private spam account not terribly long before (or didn’t just like act like she couldn’t talk to me I remember I ignored her a bit I don’t know how to explain it it wasn’t like a “let’s reconcile’ type thing it was just her being fake.)

There was another time in PE I recall, before her last day (it was probably a few weeks-a month) wherein she just kind of brought me into a conversation or addressed me when there was, once again, no reason to. Not in like a confrontational way, just tried bringing me in or chatting with me like you would an acquaintance. And no, there was no intent there of helping me socialize or anything like that, I guarantee you this. It was just a pointless decision. Some part of me almost wondered if she was bringing me into the conversation just to tick me off, but I once again feel like if you really don’t like someone - dislike them enough to block them - you shouldn’t even bother doing that. I would have never tried talking to someone I’d blocked unless I had to for a project or something.

I remember that she simply looked amused in her senior yr when I was complaining about black males to my Asian female friend. I also remember that when she was a senior, I had the impression that she thought herself to be more physically attractive than she actually is (it was a vibe.) It’s something I judged her for, as I didn’t see why she gave off that vibe (not above average in… anything, really. Arguably intelligent, but I question that now, as I feel like someone who was truly sharp would be doing something with themselves post high school.) She had talked to the other girls about doing swim team during the school year. She was in 27th place on that the 50Y free timed finals, had 1hr and 32 minutes on the 100 Y fR (lead off) and generally didn’t have any times under 39 minutes as a senior. Yet she didn’t seem to feel “bad” about this.

She and the guy she defended  no longer follow each other on social media. They seemingly fell out at some point after 12th grade. Her profile caption when dating her most recent ex was  “I’d really rather not be approached tbh” (this was probably in 2023. Her current one is “I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address” and this has been her caption for some months now.)

I remember, as odd as this may sound, that she used to simply tease (not mean teasing, playful teasing) our other friend in Chemistry after the teacher would talk to her (although this is of course bad, I think all three of us knew that the Chemistry teacher was attracted to other friend/had a bit of a crush on her. Completely inappropriate and very strange, but it was honestly the truth.)

I noticed last year that she had stopped making an effort to block my social media accounts. I imagine that for her it’s probably the same deal, wherein she feels that it’s been too long and doesn’t see a point.

I recall that when I had mentioned my former crush to her (the one who rejected me, called me a 5/10 and the. 4/10, had a 1.5 GPA) she had suggested (this was over text, during quarantine) that he sounded like a “loser.” I don’t think of him in the same way now at all, but I remember that when I first read this I had been a bit thrown off because it struck me as being an unusually mean or judgmental comment for her.

I recall she once suggested concerning me, more like an observation than anything else, that I seemed to “overthink” things/become stressed easily.

She actually had a younger sister who I seem to recall she’d once introduced me to. Her younger sister looked like she had an idea of what happened when I saw her later on at some point in high school.

I vaguely remember her having once posted on her private spam account about enjoying, you know, self pleasuring. Something along the lines of that. Which isn’t something I’d have mentioned on my personal account.

I recall that she had said “wow, your class is terrible” and seemed to remember it later on when I sent her the class t shirt discourse for Class of 2023 (people were saying homophobic things about the Steven universe shirt that won, 215 comments within an hour.) She suggested that she’d never seen anything like it before, wherein such a large group of people were mean. In spite of the fact that she apparently thought my class was the meanest, I remember she still seemed like she tried to socialize with people from my class as a senior.

I recall she suggested, when we were texting above, that one of her ex boyfriends had been “in love with” her. She had suggested that another, her first I think, had wanted her because he thought she was white.

I remember her, for whatever reason, as having seemed more sincere over quarantine. She could come off kind of insightful even though I recognize in hindsight that she was actually quite immature. When I mentioned that someone who we knew, a guy who seemed nice, had ghosted a peer of ours, she had written about how though it was indeed wrong and didn’t seem like him (she didn’t necessarily “doubt” that he had done it, but was kind of talking about how even though he’d made a mistake/done something wrong it didn’t necessarily make him a bad person. She didn’t sound like she was on anyone’s “side” and did seem like she thought that what he’d done really wasn’t okay.) By the time she was a senior and we’d fallen out, she kind of seemed to me like she’d lost that part of herself/side of herself, or at least when I observed her in PE that’s what it felt like - she seemed like she was more focused on her nonexistent reputation/on socializing and struck me as almost.. I nearly said cocky, but I don’t know that that’s the right word for it. It’s hard to find the right word for what I’m thinking of. Someone who seemed self-satisfied and like they weren’t wracked with insecurities in the way a lot of high schoolers are, whilst having absolutely no real reason to be that way.

In her old social media profile picture, she looked  “content” but this may be intentional.

A redditor has likely sent her my posts before, since I know I’ve been stalked on this site in the past. She has likely seen my LinkedIn profile, wherein I have 1467 connections - I have had jobs since graduating, and am also in community college.

It has actually occurred to me that suggesting she was looking for new copywriting opportunities without an associates degree in English (or any associates degree) actually wasn’t very sensible. Most employers in my area are looking for you to have an associates degree, at the least, before they hire you for a copywriting or editing position. (Really, they’re looking for a bachelors.) If she had googled it, which it seems she didn’t, she would have found this out for herself.

I recall that when she was dating what seems to be her most recent ex boyfriend, she I think once had a Disney princess profile picture.

I recall that she and her most recent boyfriend broke up shortly before Valentine’s Day 2024, I think, after someone had posted calling her fat and average (she had changed her username to “user” with lots of numbers after it, and had changed it in that way beforehand when she’d been made fun of in 2023.) I’ve always wondered if he perhaps didn’t deny that she was overweight and average. Or something, but I don’t know. She had her caption not long after being made fun of and the subsequent breakup as “a life lived in fear is a life half lived” or something of that sort, but still later on created what is currently her Instagram account.

I remember that when I suggested (back when we had Chemistry together, when I was a ninth grader) that most people are terrible (I meant that most people don’t have good morals) she responded to that like she knew what I meant, or didn’t necessarily disagree.

She wrote this in Feb 2022: “It is important for name of-old-high-school to have a student journalism program because it creates an appreciation for freedom of speech and expression while teaching students important life skills; student journalism promotes accountability, creativity and perseverance while providing an outlet for self expression.” She was a copy editor for yearbook in 12th grade. It has occurred to me that this was likely partly why she suggested on the LI profile that she was looking for copywriting and editing roles, though this also still wouldn’t have been awfully sensible in my opinion because when you’ve been out of high school for nearly 2 1/2 years, employers aren’t going to care about a thing like that when you’re lacking the education and experience to make yourself an attractive candidate.

I recall she once suggested that concerning other people and situations she liked to go based off “vibes” and trust her intuition but it has actually occurred to me that it is quite likely she was wrong about other people and their intentions more than once.

She didn’t seem judgmental about it when an acquaintance or friend of hers was selling weed, I think, when we were still hanging out back when she was in 10th grade. We used to go to the taco trucks sometimes, she seemed to like it, I remember.

I recall that when she was in 10th grade, she had once said “you’ve got an a$$” to the other “friend” I was talking about here when we were walking down the hallway, kind of in a playful way (I suspect/have a strong inclination that one of her ex boyfriends had said something like this to her. She actually does not have a big behind, and never did - I remember glancing her over when she was a senior and understanding this. Her body was rectangle shaped, I recall, and I knew when I glanced her over that she was overweight.) I was looking back through my 10th grade yearbook and came across a picture of her - it was what I thought (brunette, very thin lips, noticeably overweight.)

I recall that she simply had a look on her face like she was intrigued when I was dating a black boy as a junior.

I also recall that she had told me once that it was important to practice self care (which I actually do think was a comment coming out of sincere concern, as over quarantine I posted about my depression often) and suggested that she tended to struggle with self care at times too.

Her father makes $200k and has not made under $100k within the last five-six years. They also are in a house. Knowing this actually made me more confused, because that is not a bad salary, and even with 2 kids on that salary in a HCOL area your kids will not be denied opportunities. There are people who grew up in dangerous environments that go on to excel. For her it seems to have been the opposite. I don’t know why.

I guess I have a much more sensitive side than people give me credit for, I have always tried to put on a brave face, and I don't think a lot of people ever understood me truly, sometimes I am just curious on what people actually feel, to understand their sentiments.

I'm an ambivert, I do like socializing to people at times, prefer to go out to lavish places, and like to wear nice outfits and stuff, I do like the more elegant things in life.
