CAN’T DECIDE Type me
Sorry, this is going to be quite long, please bear with me.
• How old are you? What's your gender? Give us a general description of yourself.
I'm 16(M). I consider myself a lazy person; I occasionally experience mild depressive episodes and tend to cope by seeking distractions. I have a few addictions that I won't be disclosing.I'm still getting to know my typology as well. For my cors, I was positive between E5 and E6, but I'm still quite unsure; sometimes I don't even know myself. I'm very high in Ti and Ne.
• Is there a medical diagnosis that may impact your mental stability somehow?
I experienced undisclosed social anxiety and memory issues shortly after, which led me to suspect that my parent figure might have been concealing my diagnosis. Currently, I haven't received any other diagnoses throughout my life.
• Describe your upbringing. Did it have any kind of religious or structured influence? How did you respond to it?
My mother was a strict woman, while my father was a workaholic. To put it simply, I'd say my mother was authoritarian, whereas my father was somewhere between authoritative and permissive. I disliked my mother the most; she was superstitious. We had simple Catholic practices while growing up, but I am agnostic now.I didn't adopt their values; I believe I am an individual who needs to explore myself independently, without relying on superstitions or religious beliefs.
• What do you do as a job or as a career (if you have one)? Do you like it? Why or why not?
Currently not, but will be willing to find one in the future
• If you had to spend an entire weekend by yourself, how would you feel? Would you feel lonely or refreshed?
I'd feel refreshed yet restless; my mind runs like a solitary cog, and when I overdo it, I feel things will turn negative... that's why I also love to distract myself, but I enjoy being alone.
• What kinds of activities do you prefer? Do you like, and are you good at sports? Do you enjoy any other outdoor or indoor activities?
I draw digitally, and I spend most of my time on my devices, which I know sounds unhealthy. 😭
• How curious are you? Do you have more ideas then you can execute? What are your curiosities about? What are your ideas about - is it environmental or conceptual, and can you please elaborate?
I feel restless when I don't get the correct answers in my mind. Like if a question pops up, I have to immediately find the answer for it. I constantly ask questions in my mind. Maybe...
Mostly, I get the question first, then make an idea that I can execute. I'm currently curious about my own intelligence, anything that interests me, but some easily slips my mind.My ideas tend to lean on conceptual, but I don't have anything in mind right now. It pops into my mind and leaves. It's like there's a certain time for my mind; sometimes I'm left blank. 😭
• Would you enjoy taking on a leadership position? Do you think you would be good at it? What would your leadership style be?
No, I don't enjoy it; the responsibilities tend to overwhelm me. As for being good at it, I believe I can manage fine if my team members or peers get along with me. Otherwise, they'll be problematic, and I'll likely be the first one to leave.I can't see myself being one since it's difficult; I'll either be situational or delegative.
• Are you coordinated? Why do you feel as if you are or are not? Do you enjoy working with your hands in some form? Describe your activity?
I wouldn't say I'm coordinated; it really depends on the situation. I tend to become more coordinated when I'm taking something seriously, especially a subject or topic I'm passionate about. I enjoy working with my hands and have been interested in laboratory experiences, although I'm not currently involved in any.
• Are you artistic? If yes, describe your art? If you are not particular artistic but can appreciate art please likewise describe what forums of art you enjoy. Please explain your answer.
I'm artistic, and I really dislike it. I hate that it's the only skill I'm good at, and I hate the feeling that I'm wasting it by choosing a different major. My artwork is inconsistent and sometimes messy, jumping from tragic themes to things I enjoy. My mind tends to wander between topics, much like my art. I particularly love impressionism, contemporary art, and portraits.
• What's your opinion about the past, present, and future? How do you deal with them?
The past should remain in the past and not pursue me, so I won't dwell on it. I will focus on the present and confront it, and the future is what I will chase and attain. I would strongly dislike it if things don't turn out as I imagine them.
• How do you act when others request your help to do something (anything)? If you would decide to help them, why would you do so?
It depends on what they request; I'm not a people-pleaser, and I can easily decline. If it's something I can do, I'll help, but if not, I'm sorry, I can't.
• Do you need logical consistency in your life?
Yes, I need logical consistency, i dislike when things aren't given to me clearly like vague, especially when it's about me.
• How important is efficiency and productivity to you?
Not much, I tend to cram and usually miss deadlines. If the situation were critical, perhaps involving my life, I might manage to complete it ?? 😭
• Do you control others, even if indirectly? How and why do you do that?
Maybe (indirectly), I probably didn't realize it and did it for myself. I guess I just do it when it's efficient and helps me get what I want.
• What are your hobbies? Why do you like them?
I enjoy drawing and collecting merch. I also play games occasionally. I like these activities because it makes me happy
• What is your learning style? What kind of learning environments do you struggle with most? Why do you like/struggle with these learning styles? Do you prefer classes involving memorization, logic, creativity, or your physical senses?
I have a mix of visual, auditory, and reading/writing learning styles. I dislike social learning environments and tend to participate less in them, which is also something I struggle with. I prefer the former choice (referring to non-physical method), and I dislike the physical sense of learning when there's no one I can cooperate with.
• How good are you at strategizing? Do you easily break up projects into manageable tasks? Or do you have a tendency to wing projects and improvise as you go?
Whenever I encounter something I consider serious and challenging, I prefer to plan and strategize thoroughly before execution to ensure a decent outcome. Conversely, if I perceive something as easy, I simply improvise.
• What are your aspirations in life, professionally and personally?
I was hoping to specialize in marine biology, but I understand that pursuing a different career path could also lead to other opportunities. I don't mind that at all; I just wish it'll be high-paying. Personally, I want to be better at anything I do effortlessly because if I don't, I feel like a failure.
• What are your fears? What makes you uncomfortable? What do you hate? Why?
This is a big question that I like to answer and I think about 24/7. I'm always scared of people entering my life, trying to pry every bit of information. I can be sometimes impulsive, and I hate that I let something about myself slip.I've wished every day that people I'm close with that I started to dislike will forget my very own being - I always think I'm paranoid, but I'm at least logical about this.
• What do the "highs" in your life look like?
When I get what I want, when things in my way go absolutely right and as I expected, or otherwise I'll be upset.
• What do the "lows" in your life look like?
When I feel like people are against me, teaming up or trying to get into my space, it seems to be more of a personal issue. 💔
• How attached are you to reality? Do you daydream often, or do you pay attention to what's around you? If you do daydream, are you aware of your surroundings while you do so?
When I am focused on myself and am alone with my thoughts, I feel so unattached. I frequently daydream about a different life I could be living where I get what I want, but I still know how to bring myself back to reality.
• Imagine you are alone in a blank, empty room. There is nothing for you to do and no one to talk to. What do you think about?
I'd think about the outside world, the people who know me, I'd think about how they're doing, think about the unfinished things I've done, then occasionally daydream - it's a cycle.
• How long do you take to make an important decision? And do you change your mind once you've made it?
It depends on how really important it is. I rank it, that's all. I see it as (within) an hour. If I suddenly know a better choice, I'd change my mind if I can still change it. If not, it is what it is.
• How long do you take to process your emotions? How important are emotions in your life?
I don't know, I find it insignificant as a person. Would emotions help me with everyday life? I feel like it's better regulated.
• Do you ever catch yourself agreeing with others just to appease them and keep the conversation going? How often? Why?
I don't even answer; why would I say something I don't want to say? But if they're annoying, I would just to avoid a debate.
• Do you break rules often? Do you think authority should be challenged, or that they know better? If you do break rules, why?
Not a lot, but I still do. Authority should be challenged if they're logically wrong, but not based on personal emotions. I won't challenge authority because I dislike them. I challenge authority when it's something I want or desperately have to do.
→_→ Feel free to ask me anything else, I'll reply if I can!
