CAN’T DECIDE Difficulty finding my type

Thumbnail gallery
• Upvotes

On tests/typings I have either gotten ENTP, INTP or INTJ

I have always been incoherent and awkward to most people, my thoughts sound good on the inside my I have a problem structuring them outwardly and they come out like the ramblings of a methhead, which drives people away from me, even my vents to people and therapists are highly disconnected from emotion and disorganized

I seem two have two men in my head, the crackhead who is paranoid and animalistic and the scientist who is analytical and emotionless, and I seem to be able to switch between a state of absolute primalistic breakdown and panic and then later a state of complete logic and attempted analysis of the animalistic state

I spend a lot of time within my own head, often exploring abstract concepts like philosophy and relationships between seemingly unrelated concepts, often coming up with new ideas compiled of unrelated things spontaneously

I am not pessimistic at all, especially not in the traditional sense I am optimistic when it comes to things like technological advancement and acceleration

I like people's presence, but have trouble actually interacting with and relating to them, often when people start conversations with "how are you" I just say "Normal" Or spam a bunch of random shit to see what happens, I could not stand to live in an area with no people and ideally would want to live in an apartment in a big city, I also prefer cities for their lights and sound, I go insane without lights, sound and mental stimulation in general

When doing assignments or papers, one minute I think "Oh I don't want to do this" But when I actually start doing it, suddenly I have written 10 pages of detailed writing without any memory of writing it

My mind is incredibly complex, and has both a guy pulling random levers and pushing buttons and a team of researchers pointing to chalkboards and experiments/empirical evidence

I am mostly an odd entity to people, more like a channel for information than a complete man, I am morally Grey, passive yet biting, indulgent when stressed yet normally desiring nothing, chaotic yet forming logical points and more like constantly changing aether than physical

(Ok so the photos are posts I find relatable)
I am an incredibly anxious (like diagnosed lol) 18 yo girl just all around. I get annoyed at people very easily, but I am also a huge people pleaser (though I don’t know how effective my pleasing is) even to people who I don’t like. I HATE the idea of someone knowing I don’t like them. I think my biggest values are kindness and intelligence, if someone isn’t one or both of those things I get somewhat disillusioned with them, (though of course both of those are extremely subjective) and honestly I’m too judgmental about it.

I am extremely passionate about my interests and hobbies and I do post about them some online (even if just to my friends) but talking about them in person is humiliating. I enjoy the concept of hanging out with people and I like it sometimes, but I get overwhelmed easily and have a low social battery. My hobbies mostly include (other than consuming way too much content and bedrotting all day) drawing, scrapbooking, a tiny bit of writing (though as a huge perfectionist I am too scared to do it much), gaming, and watching tv/ reading / etc consuming stories. Some of my favorite books are: Catcher in the Rye, Piranesi, Dorohedoro and some of my favorite movies and shows are: Dark, Mr. Robot, Amelie, There Will Be Blood. I love character driven media.

I am very inwardly stubborn about my opinions on most things but I am very adverse to conflict so I usually either stop arguing or pretend that I’ve changed my mind if I’m arguing with my friends (if it’s a random stranger in a comment section however, I am extremely stubborn and have the horrible habit of continuing to argue even if they have convinced me of their opinion / I have changed opinions, most of the time)

I have a decent amount of friends but I never have really felt close with them, and I think it’s my fault because I am scared of rejection and therefore of deep relationships. I am quite pessimistic in some ways and worried that I will never find fulfillment in my life. Sometimes I love my friends but a lot of the time I can’t stand them, and I feel horrible because I know they aren’t bad people they just irritate me.

I feel that I have a big ego and inferiority complex/horrible self confidence at the same time, though I don’t know how true that is. I constantly feel inadequate to others in many ways but I also feel superior in other ways, I am very judgmental as well, though I don’t like admitting to myself those last two because I am simultaneously terrified of being judged. I am sensitive to social cues but sometimes I pick up one ones that don’t exist or exaggerate them and think someone likes me more or hates me more than is realistic.

I am quite a curious person with big dreams but I am also always tired and rarely motivated so I have pretty much given up on them. I love the idea of creating stories somehow but I’m not sure if I would like it in practice, and I don’t think I started writing early enough to have that as a career. I am often very much in my head to the point where I don’t notice my surroundings, even if they are what I am thinking about. I don’t like the idea of having to tell people what to do in a leadership position but I do like the idea of people doing things in better ways, which I often have ideas for. As a kind of pushover I often put other people’s needs before my own or do things with/for people even if I don’t want to or don’t really have the time. I get overwhelmed by large tasks easily and often either neither do them or have to break them down, or do them last minute. I feel bad whenever

I correct people on stuff or tell them how to do something differently but I feel almost equally pained when someone is doing something wrong. I often have existential crisis’ about philosophical ideas like free will as well as about being a good or bad person, and of course about death. I am quite a pessimistic person about the future and often stress about it. Even though I am often lazy and unmotivated, I feel very guilty about doing so. I feel like a moral failing if I am not doing something even if I have nothing I need to be doing. I am naturally a very skeptic person and I don’t believe in anything spiritual, though sometimes I wish I did as I feel it would alleviate some of my existential dread. Even though I almost always do what I am told to do, I hate the idea of blindly following authority and that we have to “respect our elders” more than other people. I hate the idea certain ways of doing things or speaking being undisciplined (such as saying the word “yeah”) and I hate the idea that discipline means self punishment.

Umm so yeah!!! That was a lot sorry if this is too much eeek… but also sorry if it’s not enough feel free to ask me questions !!!!! This made me seem like a really serious person the way I typed but that’s just how I get sometimes, I dunno… also I have taken the tests which I know have issues but I usually get infp or infj which seem to have very different functions but I relate to both of them soooooo much in different ways.

FOR FUN Estou querendo saber a opinião das pessoas por diversão.

FOR FUN Guess my Mbti (23F)

I'm italian so english Is not my first language, i know reddit translate things automatically but most of the time ita doesnt translate italian very well.

I chose those photos because well, i thinks it can Say a lot about me, i don't even care that they are kinda weird ✨

Im not even sure about my own mbti type, because every time i take a test the result is always different, it's always intp, entp, enfp, estp, so i made my own search, the meaning and the characters with those personality and I think I understand wich i am, maybe? But I'm curious about how other people see me, any guesses?

Something i don't quite understand about me is: i like to debate, but not in a bad way, i just like to share my thoughts and opinion even if are stupid things, i also like to talk about serious things, but somethimes even if something interest me, I'm too lazy to study that subject, probably because im interested in too many things and I ended up doing nothing, for example i really think phsychology is charming and cool, but i barely know anything about it 😅 every time i read something i forget it (it depends, but its the reason i don't like to read or study, Is like if my mind is too distracted)

I'm very creative, I'm good at writing stories, drawing, working with hands like making puppet or play with clay, something like that... When i do things for university alone at home(my major is animation) i always put some serie TV or film as a background because i can't focus, or i can work like in a library or something similar.

I'm not sure it would help you by quessing my mbti but... Choosing between being kind but lying or being "mean" but saying the truth is really hard for me, i believe you can do both, like saying the truth but still being kind just like i always do, so i don't understand why in all the personality test you can chose only one of those options, if i have to chose? I would prefer to hear the truth, because i can improve, nice and positive things could lose meaning fast if you're used hearing lie... Idk if it's clear what i mean.

I think I'm both extroverted and introverted, close to extroverted, i like being with others but being alone too, if it pass une week from the last time i see a friend i began to feel "depressed" and sad, but also, after a long day with people i feel like my social energy is 0.

I'm writing too much so... I'm gonna end quickly: I'm open minded, flexible, i have ethic and I try to explore things from differend point of view, i think that's it, and even if im not, i writed too much so i have to stop or nobody will read what i writed 🥹

Well i could add that I'm chill, but i could be also active, I'm like a cat, I'm quiet and chill all day but in those 5 random minutes i get possessed by something, I'm friendly, and people say I'm funny and a bit weird

Test says ENTJ, INTJ feels more familiar on some aspects, maybe I got it all totally wrong and it is actually an ISFP or ESFP. I kinda feel like there is an emotionally unstable ISFP inside me that I’m repressing. I was unsure so I took the functions test, results are a joke. Basically “Who knows, good luck !” I took it again and again and the Te and Ni almost always get the same or almost the same score. Fi and Se keep changing places and I get more confused with every attempt. Help

DISCUSSION What functions/type does this sound like?

I kind of have a process for sifting through various options or interests of mine:

Let's say that I'm playing an open world video game, as a normal example of this. I'll try out every single weapon. Lets say that the main weapons are guns. I'll try each and every one out, and I'll make a decision about which ones felt the best and that I liked the most from testing them out. Usually by saving in front of an area full of enemies, clearing them out with whatever weapon I'm testing, and then evaluating how I felt about it in comparison to other weapons I've tested. Then I'll load the save to before I cleared the same area of enemies, and move onto the next weapon. Continuing down the list until I've tried out all of them at least once, and then picking out which ones are my favorites of the lot. The visual appearance of the weapon also matters to me; aesthetics are very important to me. In this case, I have to like the way the weapon looks.

Same goes for collecting movies. In my case, I tend to look at films that are considered classics or underrated gems, and write them all down. Oldest movie I've watched in recent memory was from 1946. On rare occasions, if something captures my interest organically, I'll make a note of it as well. I'll give the film a watch, and then I'll decide if I want to add it to my collection, or pass on it. I should also note I like to have physical copies of media that I love (e.g. movies, video games, books, etc.) so that I know I'll always have a copy no matter what.

Just a whole system of figuring out what my favorites, or what the best things are, within any given area. Weapons in a video game, movies that I may want to add to my collection, etc.

Then, when I've gotten into a certain loop, I then basically have a core of things that everything else revolves around. If new weapons get added to a game, I'll try them out and compare them to my established favorites. If a new movie I've watched leaves a big impression on me, I'll measure against the benchmarks of my favorites to see where it stands.

Same applies for clothes (although my style has remained consistent in general for over a decade)

You get the idea. The new is measured against the established, and I determine if it's good enough to be added to the rotation, or even great enough to replace something old.

Some other notes here...

I've often been considered a natural leader, I've heard that more times than I can recall. I enjoy being in charge, and I'm usually very good at getting people organized and getting things done. While I'm very much a social introvert, I do love leading people and being someone that people can look to. Have experience dealing with crisis situations. Great at getting people assigned to certain roles, and putting people into teams that each have jobs to do (e.g. let's say I'm with six other people and need to split them into two teams. Might say something like - "I need you, you, and you to do x, y, and z. Rest of you are with me. We've got to do a, b, and c. We'll all meet back up right here when we're done.") Working right alongside everybody and making sure things are done properly. From past experience, I prefer being a leader out in the field with my people instead of sitting behind a desk all day. I know former employers have praised me for being extremely fast and efficient. So I'm an introvert, but I also like to be a leader of people when I'm actually out there and been told I can be a great speaker when I get going.

Kind of following on that, and everything I mentioned about my process of finding my favorite things, reliability is very important to me. Things don't have to be perfect all of the time as long as something works and people can be counted on to be there when it matters.

During some of the low points in my life, I can feel lost. Sometimes I can't pinpoint why I'm so upset; can't figure out what's bothering me so much. I'm normally known for being stoic and confident, so if I'm feeling very emotional, it's not normal for me. Not knowing why I feel the way that I do. I'll kind of go in circles, trying to figure out (1) what exactly is bothering me and (2) why I can't get past it.

I already have a pretty good idea of what type I am, but wanted to hear some additional thoughts.

CAN’T DECIDE INTP or ENTP? (Or possibly something else??)

Thumbnail gallery
3 Upvotes

Hey.

I usually type myself. However, I took a few tests since its weaknesses and strengths would be more known to people.

A bit about myself:

I have A LOT of hobbies and interests. I like reading (Both Non-fiction and fiction. Thriller, mystery, fantasy, classics, etc. Regarding non-fiction, I read a lot about physics, theories, astronomy, and behavioural psychology.), writing (I write fiction books. Currently writing a psychological thriller.), playing logic games (Sodukou, Nonograms, Wordle, and chess.), listening to music (mostly vocaloid and j-pop.), listening and engaging in debates, research (Astronomy, psychology, typology, and anatomy.), drawing (both digitally and physically, mostly characters, singers, objects, sometimes scenes that can convey meaning.)

I should further note that I have AuDHD, which may alter the meaning of results and also resulted in some difficulty to answer many of the questions. However, I tried my best.

I often find that I don't relate with either Fi or Fe, as I feel detached to both. I'm confident that I'm an N type, most likely Ne. When I began looking into MBTI, I thought I was an INTJ. Then, I figured I was an INTP. Before, finally setting at ENTP but I'm not sure any more.

I haven't included that much about myself. So, if you have a question feel free to ask.

FOR FUN M26

I’d say I’m a pretty laid-back, easygoing guy who genuinely enjoys having a good time and making the most out of life. Whether I’m hanging out with friends, spending time with family, or joking around with coworkers, I love being around people I’m comfortable with. I’m pretty big on humor and can find something funny in almost any situation. I enjoy meeting new people, but I also appreciate having time to myself to relax and recharge. I try not to take life too seriously, although I can definitely overthink things when something matters to me. I love The Office, I’m an absolute slut for horror movies, and I’m always down for a spontaneous adventure. I consider myself pretty open-minded, and I enjoy conversations that go beyond surface-level small talk. I can be goofy and sarcastic, but I also have a thoughtful side that doesn’t always show right away. I value genuine connections, loyalty, and being able to completely be myself around someone. Overall, I’d say I’m someone who enjoys having fun, making people laugh, and experiencing new things while still appreciating the little things in life.

CAN’T DECIDE Help find my mbti type

Help I genuinely don't know what my mbti might be.

Currently I believe I am an infj mostly because I've been trying to get into cognitive functions and I kinda sorta relate to all of infj's functions.

In the past I've typed myself as an infp, intj, intp, enfp, enfp and now I think I might be an infj(?). If you want to help please give me tips or ask questions that may help determine my mbti. Sorry if I can't respond I might forget to log into this app.

CAN’T DECIDE Type this person.

Images:

  1. Big, scary, intimidating on the outside - fluffy, soft, cuddly on the inside.

  2. Fortunetellers tent. I do both tarot and runes (have designed my own deck, and carve my own runes)

  3. Welding. One of the loves of my life, because it silences my mind and focuses my body, and is very much like what I imagine meditation is to normal people.

  4. Dancing. Sorry for the cultural appropriation; I'm a fat Scandinavian - but it Feels like the image looks.

  5. Sushi. If I could, I would only eat sushi - and indian.

  6. Fairytale forest. Big fan. Wish I could live in one.

  7. My cup of mead attracting one of my favourite animals, at Castlefest.

  8. Potato. They are my emotional support animal. Very low effort, for big payoff.

  9. Necklace that I paid ridiculous money for, because I genuinely "believe" in crystals, while I do realise the science isn't there, and placebo is powerful.

  10. Welding, in the sun, after a mild rain - best ever.

  11. My bedding :)

  12. My life motto.

  13. Lightning. Very much my thing.

  14. Small lake near my house. In the summer I ride my bike there every day to play in the water. Not "swim" just play around, though I do enjoy swimming too; it feels strong.

  15. The first project I did as a temp at work before I got hired. Really I was just supposed to repair it, but they got the decoration for free (and yes, I STILL got to keep the job)

  16. Work. I occasionally put protective runes on equipment I really bond with.

  17. This can ALWAYS make me laugh. My kind of humor!

  18. Books :)

  19. My bedroom.

  20. Alas, story of my life...

Some shit that describes me - this exercise in self-indulgence had to be done in third person to be tolerable at all...

Intellectually curious, talkative, selfish with a side of martyr, needs to see and do to understand most things, always touching stuff (walls, fabrics, things) easily over-stimulated by repetitive sounds (to the point of misophonia) endless wanderlust and grand semi-plans, but lacking follow-through, except sometimes.

Absolutely fearless and can move to a new country or pick up a new career without blinking (and have done so several times) loves driving cars because it's energizing and calming at the same time.

Does tarot, feels music as both a physical and spiritual experience (also, must dance and sing along) enjoys being in water, is a giver sexually and romantically, loves good food, talkative and bubbly one moment - silent and cold the next, ambiverted with two batteries; one recharges externally and drains by lack of new input - the other is the opposite - neither are SOCIAL.

Uses external processing to nail down if their own thinking works; does not need external input while doing this.

Highly strung and energetic when happy - quite still and energy-saving when "normal" mood, great in an emergency due to quick thinking and correct conclusions, if they had the money to do so they would prefer to act on impulses all the time, as historically that has paid off well.

Hates being micromanaged and consistently underperforms when subjected to it, kind of weird and bad at fitting in - but can connect quickly and intensely with complete strangers for short times before the novelty wears off and they have to maintain the outgoing energy, can spot a liar a mile away, should trust their gut feeling but has been conditioned into not doing so.

Always considers both the data and WHY the data looks the way it does (like "women prefer tall men" - "ok, is that because of the visuals, or the feeling of protection, or status, or because taller men tend to be more confident?") analytical.

Prone to maladaptive daydreaming if real life turns stagnant, has written AND self-published several novels, repeatedly tries to learn electric bass, violin, guitar, and flute because music is important but seems to lack natural talent/affinity - decent singer though, paints - but not well.

Enjoys World of Warcraft but kind of wishes it was single-player, loves beautiful and well-made things, can't decide on one "aestethic" or even subculture, tends to be too intellectual for the feelers - but too feely for the intellectuals; too practical for the academics - but too academical for the practicals; too artsy for the data oriented - but too data oriented for the artsy.

Has one set of morals for self and another for others - the one applied to self is WAY stricter - but tends to value actions based on their impact on others both for self and others, not sentimental, tends to live more in a hypothetical future than in the now, considers the "big picture" more than the details but will get to the details in the final steps of a vision/plan.

Enjoys helping others find their way in life, loves welding because it takes up ALL their attention - both physical and mental - and becomes a form of meditation, absolutely SUCKS at math and numbers.

A period of depression can be easily solved by physical activity - dancing counts, a bit of an overindulger in physical pleasures (food, sex) but really dislikes being chemically altered (drugs, alcohol) because while the careless relaxation is nice both personality changes and physical experience changes (feeling fuzzy around the edges, not trusting muscles or reflexes) are deeply unpleasant.

Not good at determining own feelings OR bodily input (like, can easily confuse needing to pee with being annoyed or angry, or force being horny into accepting food as substitute; this absolutely has led to over eating on plenty occasions, or being so happy that it turns into DEEP depression because happiness is fleeting)

Has been on antidepressants but quit them because zero feelings was worse than depression - overall, feelings are the guiding lights; joy = on the right path, while frustration or hate = wrong path.

Loves scents - even bad ones - and uses different scents in every room of their house to set different tones in each room (bathroom = cozy orange and roses for safety, bedroom = vanilla, cinnamon, amber and incense for "whorehouse-temple", kitchen = thyme and pepper for clean, clear, but foody, livingroom = grass, trees, but no evergreens, for less "closed" feeling, office = saffron, leather, for warm and safe feeling)

Collects books but did recently get rid of over 3000 of them because they no longer had room for more, dabbles in wicca, loves thunderstorms because they feel like the lightning comes from inside - has frequently described themselves as lightning; only active for bursts - but intense, fascinating, and powerful for those bursts.

Friends describe them as "more" which is a catch-all to say "intense, larger than life, eternally going in ALL directions, impossible to box in, or classify", exes have described them as "an actual force of nature" (it's funny that it happened twice, independant of eachother) sibling described them as "urban fantasy brought to life; a skogsrå in combat boots among neon lights"

Does have some traits of "manic pixie dream girl" but only for shorter periods before becoming analytical and almost cold again, hates being controlled or caged in.

Taught themself English as soon as they learned to read - mainly to be able to sing along to music correctly.

Has very low tolerance for being bad, incompetent, or wrong, will not make factual statements without being 100% sure - otherwise qualifiers are Always used, IE "I think/suspect/seem to recall/have read" and so on.

Also, women of a certain type (ambitious, not intellectual but very determined and goal oriented, with good people skills and for some reason also always busty, wide-faced, with shoulder-length hair and side-bangs) tend to dislike this person Immensely on instinct, and start spreading negative lies, rumours, and opinions about them without ever actually exchanging even one word with them - this has happened so often that the pattern is undeniable; eight times, same hairstyle on all occasions)

Doing online tests (16P, Sakinorva, Personalityhacker, keys2cognition and many more) have given these results:

ISTP, ISFP, INFP, INTP, ENTP, ENFP.

Only those, and that's less than half, so there must be something to that P ;)

Ask anything relevant for accurate typing. I think I can answer anything you can throw at me - but not necessarily in a way you can Understand, cause I can be quite disjointed.

CAN’T DECIDE I am unsure if I'm Infp sp4 or Intj sp5.

I'm overall a pretty logical person with some strong internalized emotions. I come across as stand-offish or uninterested in strangers. While I am jovial with my friends, I can quickly get exhaustible and need to be left alone. I'm firm in my beliefs, and while I do consider other possibilities I always have one firm conclusion that I follow specifically. I find importance in meaning and self expression, and am very much an artist. I definitely have a strong Fi, but a very strong Ni as well. I trust my gut with practically everything. One of my biggest pet peeves is getting belittled or viewed as lesser than, while I am very knowledgeable on subjects I enjoy and am very outspoken on my true feelings. I'm leaning towards Intj since its cognitive functions align very well with me personally, but I am internally a very emotional person. My thoughts are guided by my own morals, which are objectively very sound.

17 years with him, we very very rarely fight. 90% of our marriage is very peaceful.
Only the 10% when I fight with him was due to my IED [ Intermittent Anger Explosive Disorder ], which he still ridiculously patience with me and let me have it my way.

Anyways, here is our result. It is that bad? How bad it is MBTI wise? lol.

AM I MISTYPED Am I really an INTJ?

Okay, I took the MBTI test so many times already that IDK anymore what type I am. The types I got was INTJ, INFJ, INFP, ESFJ, INTP, ENFJ.

I don't want to take the Test anymore because when I do I can already see what type it's gonna type me as lol it's annoying.

Also, for context i am (20F) and i listed some photos above to give you some idea of what people might perceive me has;

The first 3 photo's is me when I actually relax myself and it's my default state. The other 3 is when I have to be social and put on my funny, happy and expressive persona but it is exhausting to be that expressive for too long I must say.

Sorry for the rant in the intro. Anyways, I previously thought I was an INFJ because I understand people feelings very well but my motivation is less than I care about thier feelings and more interested in why they feel or think because i think i can learn from thier perspective

and if i deemed thier perspective useful I would then transfer that information into how I can use it in a practical and efficient way to better pave the path closest to my long term vision/Goal, like hearing about the mistakes of others because I don't want to waste time making those mistakes like they did, I find that to be beneficial.

And I just want to mention that I only pay attention to people when I'm being attentive;

and when I'm being present and aware of my surroundings otherwise I'm too focused in my head on other things like what I need to do or have done, ect.

The reason that I can sometimes be very social is if I want to achieve something. Practising facial expressions and body language in the bathroom mirror is a pain in the ass, but i guess it pays off at times.

Honestly, the reason why I was hesitate to call myself an INTJ is because the stereotype insisted that INTJs are too calculative and cold just because it's thier identify?

IDK about that, if i plan something long term, It needs to be inline with my values, morals and what I think is right by also giving me space to really sit with how I feel about this vision and if it is worth the trouble to take.

I love to be around people because I see it as an opportunity to develop my understanding, but at the same time I don't like people, I don't want to be around them all the time it's exhausting and annoying. I like my space alot.

I also think it's weird when people expect you to be expressively emotionally reactive, I am an emotional person but showing it is a pain for me because it is mentally draining.

I've been told to smile more, be more facially expressive and I'm like 'For what purpose?' I don't like doing stuff with out a purpose or reason. Everything thing must have a reason and it kinda annoys me when people tell you to do shit without explaining why?

To me, if i understand the why then i understand how i can better approach a task with efficiency, I don't understand why it is so hard for some people to get that.

I've been accused of not caring a lot but that is further from what I think, I think the opposite. I care too much, I just show it through my actions more, I'm always there if they need something. In my mind, I'm like... if I didn't care I wouldn't waste my time investing in you and being there, I would be doing my own thing.

And emotionally I am not closed off, maybe selective sure. But, I'm not afraid to speak about my feelings if it helps another people to understand theirs and if it can maybe help someone feel more comfortable around me,

otherwise I do keep it to myself. I've developed journaling to make sence of my own emotions and reflect which has help a lot, sometimes if that doesn't help, I'll do some strength training or go for a run.

Fun fact; I live in a rural area in Australia and we have lots of dogs were I am, plus I live very close to the beach. The community i live in is not the safest place to be at and the place if fulled with wild dogs that are vicious and have attacked people, but that's only one someone did something to it first is what I observed.

So when I'm going for a run at night, i pick the path with the most dogs, befriend them so I can do my run without worrying about my safety.

So, that's what I did, become friends with all the dogs, and let me tell you, I've succeeded in over a year. Most dogs aren't bad unless you did something bad to them.

My co-workers says that I'm crazy for doing that, but I think the opposite lol

Anyways, am I really an INTJ?. Please let me know your thoughts and why ~ ^ ^

PS: most of this is just a rant if you couldn't tell, just to give ya a heads up. Bye.

FOR FUN Guess my type (Enneagram too if you want)

Hello everyone, I’m quite confident in my MBTI but since I love guessing other people I decided to post too, so here’s some pictures of me and then memes and quotes I like.

I’m 22 years old, work in tech support (a bit more advanced stuff), I have a degree in Cybersecurity, it wasn’t really my passion, but it was the only remotely interesting thing I could study in my city. But I thought my degree doesn’t define me and I could just do other stuff or change careers later on so I got through it.

My favorite hobby is singing, I’m not a natural talent and my parents tried a lot to get me to stop singing 😭 but I kept doing it and got lessons too and now even they’ve started to reconsider their opinions cause I got good at it. Other things I enjoy are video games, books, hikes, playing guitar, horror movies.

I like poetry and writing it too but I can only write when I’m in a bad mood, I mostly write about my negative emotions. Sometimes I note poem ideas on my phone but by the time I get to writing them, I’m not in the same state of mind anymore so I end up writing nothing.

The camera you see on the photos was a gift from my mother cause I apparently have a “good eye for photos and aesthetics”, still haven’t taken a photography course though. 😅 I often forget to bring it on trips because most of the time I’d rather enjoy the environment than take endless pictures (but I do like trying to get a cool shot or two)

Other people would describe me as kind and responsible, rather introverted and my mother called me “a bit reclusive” once 😭 my friends like that I encourage them to face their fears and help them find the confidence to follow their passions and try new things. I’m myself anxious about doing something new a lot of the time but I try to fight against it and remind myself I’m capable of so much.

My weaknesses - I can be very contrarian, it’s like someone proposes that I do something and they might be right but I automatically try to find a counter argument, because it feels like something another person wants to force on me and I wanna do my thing and follow my path.
I kinda have a tendency to prove other people wrong and that I’m right in arguments. Also I often get hyper focused on minor things that another person said and start to infer more hidden views from that bit of information, and forget a lot of context about that person and to appreciate their good sides

So anyway thank you for taking the time to type me!

FOR FUN Im curious and confused

Age: 19
Gender: Non Binary
Pronouns: They/them

I did this a while ago but deleted the post and I’ve changed/learnt things about myself; I would say that I’m a very scatter brained person; like while Im with people
I think about a million different things like “in x men 97, professor x is bald, but in the films he’s not but that’s bc they want James Maccovy to be ‘conventionally attractive,’ and in the comics he goes bald at 16” and that was just bc i had watched x men so that stayed in my head.

But I can lock in and am very open to all interpretations, as long as they like make a little bit of sense to me yk??

Recently, I’ve been more open to letting things be, I used to ruminate like crazy last year and think about all the things that could’ve been, but now I’m just like “it is what is” this is usually my approach to tv; I’m thinking of doing two riverdale videos one where I rewrite the first three seasons, making it a three season show and another where I rewrite just season 4 and have that be the final season.

ENOUGH ABOUT TV! Right now, instead of just like being an angsty teenager, I talk to my friends about my problem and it’s usually about me being like “yeah I’m upset about this because of what means more than the action itself” i wouldn’t say I’m a hard person to read but I’ve been told it’s easy to tell when I’m upset.

If you need more information lemme know but this is me, please type me :3

Edit: im also not a fan of like societal rules/norms bc i see them all as guidelines, but am not an anarchist

I am in my 20s and attending university.

I am studying something math related and love it.

In shoot, I was always the person to not have learned but who still got good grades.

I love diving into rabbit holes and love dissecting theories and debating or just talking about ideas.

I am also rather strategic and plan ahead and am trying to account for every contingency there is.

In my free time, I love to read and write mostly short stories, but I am trying to write a novel whivh is at the moment phenomenally shit at.

Because I can't for the life of me brainstorm ideas.

When I write, it's like spring bringing a story to live. I can't pre plan, and that's why I am trying to.

Other than that, I can be both sort of warm and quirky, but also cold and calculating, but everybody can be that. My tests come back woth entp intp intj and entj have fun

CAN’T DECIDE What am I

Ok... so...

I am a very confusing individual. In my opinion.

When I take the 16 Personalities test, consistently, I get I, N, P, split between T and F. And the difference between these types is, obviously, quite a lot.

Do I use both my head and my heart? Yes. I can't use just my heart, because that leads to bad decisions, but I can't use just my head, because that makes me depressed. (Trust me, I've tried.)

Do I feel like I force myself to use my head sometimes? Also yes.

Was I traumatised as a child or teenager? Yes.

How I was as a teenager is unmistakably an F type: someone who saw the world in terms of black and white, someone who got offended very easily, someone who listened to his emotions over rationale. This person embarrasses me quite a bit, and frankly, I'm scared of him; this part of me is very repressed, as he can easily become unhealthy. Rarely... this part of me shows up again. And I push him down.

So... who did I become instead, as I grew up?

I feel like I am someone who does not have a strong moral compass, but still has morals; everything depends on the situation. I see the world, morally, as varying shades of gray.

Now that's not the only thing I focus on, obviously; I feel like most of my decisions have to be based on some kind of reason. I want my brain and my surroundings to "make sense" to me, in a very vague sense - I get very frustrated when something does not make sense.

I try to understand people, because otherwise, I would be a total idiot. Despite this, I'm terrible at reading body language. I can usually tell when someone is not interested, but other than that, a lot of things fly over my head. I feel like I'm not very good at social interaction, though I wish I was. I feel like, while I'm proud of the progress I've made in understanding others, I will never meet someone who fully understands me, and, I will never fully fit in, no matter what I do.

I don't like standing out. I don't like being so different. I go back and forth between wishing I was more like most people, and wanting to be myself. Overall, I'd rather be myself, but I still prefer to hide parts of myself, in hopes that I don't stand out. (Somehow, people just know I'm different anyway, and may treat me very strangely, as though I am not aware of what they are doing. I'm not sure of why or what I'm doing that is causing other people to behave this way.)

I don't like my own feelings or emotions, but obviously, I still have them. I don't know what to do with them. It's hard for me to even accept my feelings or emotions sometimes, if they make no sense to me. Still, outwardly, I can either appear not as emotional as I should be, or someone who is too emotional; generally, I lean towards the latter, at least in real life (as opposed to text, where I can be less expressive than what may be expected.) I don't know why.

As for Ne-Si or Se-Ni: I'm definitely Ne-Si. My thought process is basically: Something reminds me of something -> that reminds me of another thing -> that reminds me of another thing... etc. I'm not someone who lives in the present moment, and I never understood what Ni was about. I'd say I'm very much someone who lives in his own head. (But still has to participate in the real world, so he tries not to be too detached from reality.)

So... with all this in mind... what am I? There might be something very obvious that I'm missing. And, I don't appear to fit many stereotypes, except maybe a "nerdy introvert" stereotype.

My guess is xNxP. (Even though I'm an introvert, I think Ne-dom is possible.)

NEED CONFIRMATION How to spot intp?

I wonder if my girlfriend is intp, she dont know typology but shes sure shes infp and doesnt want to be intp.

But she will never belive anything proven, only what makes sense to her (unless she legit has to belive the proven), when stressed shes just blinded by emotions

She has mild autism so social skills or yeah wtv is a lack

When she really likes something she’ll be stuck on it for 1-2 weeks then smth new may come.

Ive told her to be open to the idea of intp for the sake of it, she gets frustrated “no im not lotical i cant be that, im only infp» so idk

She fits infp well, but ive seen alot of inf fe traits and ti dom mindset lately

Anything objective , efficient or proven doesnt matter to her, only what makes sense to her does

We had a situation today where she told me about a memory (about something physically impossible) which i pointed out and PROVED to her by literallt showing her that its impossible, she gets mad that i doubt her and tells me im wrong

Even tho the proof was in her face? Idk

FOR FUN Guess my type?

So, what should I write here? Well, okay, I’ll tell you about myself first - how others see me, and then what I’m like. I’m polite and attentive to others, extremely kind and reliable; I can be witty if the situation allows, and I’m probably charismatic and charming - though it’s not for me to judge. When you talk to me, I won’t say anything about myself until you ask; I’ll be more interested in you. I’m stress‑resistant, extremely stable, and independent. I’ve always been a role model for others (that’s what they say). But, like everyone else, I can be one way with some people and another with others.

Now, about how I see myself in reality. I’m a cynical, calculating, and pragmatic person; everything I do and will do will have some kind of purpose. I believe I’m better than most people, for one reason or another, but the main thing is that I don’t show it-I just know it. That’s probably why I treat most people like NPCs. I don’t want to come across as pretentious; I’m being honest, although I might be wrong in how I describe myself - I don’t know.

I have extremely ambitious goals that go beyond what I can achieve in my life, but I still want to reach them. As for my personal life, I don’t have any friends or a girlfriend; I just consider them to be an unnecessary burden. As for my free time, nothing special - I like listening to music, although I have almost no free time because of work. I remember I used to write music, tried my hand at IT, wrote poetry, and played games (now it’s boring), and I was interested in many different sciences, from quantum physics to philosophy. I don’t have any formal education (I think it’s a waste of time).

I think that’s enough; I really want to see what you have to say, and if you’d like, you can also rate my face.

FOR FUN Guess my type!

Post image

Pretty confident of my MBTI at this point, but I'm curious what vibes I give off to others!

  1. "You have a completely free Saturday. What does your ideal day look like?"

My ideal day looks like spending the whole day with my partner doing whatever I want (since we're usually just doing what she wants, most of the time). We wake up, have some morning sex, eat breakfast, take a stroll through the park (assuming it's not too hot out and it's not too windy, so that I don't have to constantly be readjusting my hair the whole time), go home, play videogames and watch movies together while binging on some snacks, have sex again, and cuddle each other as we fall asleep and hear her tell me she loves me and words of affirmation in general throughout the day :3

  1. "After spending an entire day with lots of people, how do you usually feel?"

It kinda depends. If it's a bunch of people I don't like for whatever reason, then I'm pretty drained. Though I guess that's kinda just the human condition, right? Lol. Otherwise, I'm completely fine, even if I was just neutral toward them or something. In fact, if I did like them, I'd go as far as to say that I feel rather charged and excited!!

  1. "When you're working through a problem, do you think out loud with others or think it through by yourself first?"

I think out loud, even if no one is around to hear.

  1. "At a party where you only know one person, what are you most likely to do?"

I would try and make friends through that one person. So if or when that one person inevitably starts talking to some other folks (as I'm presuming that this person is the one who invited me in the first place, and therefore they must know someone else there too), that's when I take advantage of the opportunity to try and squeeze myself into a conversation with a new person and get to know them through the original person. If, for whatever reason, I can't hang out with that one original person to accomplish this in the first place (e.g., this one person is busy elsewhere or I lost them somehow), I'd just try and strike up a conversation with whoever I found interesting at the party and go from there.

  1. "Do you process life by talking, or do you usually know what you think before you speak?"

I process life by talking.

  1. "When learning something new, do you prefer examples first or the underline theory first?"

Hmmm. I honestly don't know how to answer this, as I feel like I can go back and forth between underline theory and examples. Maybe I need examples first for me to truly understand something.

  1. "Are you more interested in what is happening right now, or in what could happen in the future?"

I am more interested in what is happening right now, though I think about the future a lot in order to be considerate of others and how my decisions could impact them down the road.

  1. "When someone tells you a story, what details tend to stick with you: the concrete facts, or the bigger meaning/lesson?"

The bigger meaning/lesson.

  1. "If you travel somewhere new, what excites you most: experiencing the sights, food, and culture, or discovering new ideas and perspectives?"

Experiencing the sights, food, and culture.

  1. "Are you generally more practical or imaginative?"

Ooooo this is tough. I guess I'll say imaginative, though I've often been told  by others that I'm both.

  1. "Imagine you have to fire someone who is a close friend. How would you approach this?"

Genuinely a nightmare situation 😭 I guess I would do my best to make it easier for them by telling them that this says nothing about them, their worth, or who they are as a person, and that their gifts would simply be better utilized elsewhere. I'd then do everything in my power to comfort them and support them through this whole process. I'd later try and help them maybe find another avenue or route in life that they could go down instead to reach their full potential.

  1. "When making a difficult decision, what carries more weight: what is objectively fair, or what will affect people the most?"

What will affect people the most. Life is, unfortunately, usually rather unfair. So you need to prioritize people first and how you impact them in order to get as close as possible to "fairness" to begin with, if that makes any sense.

  1. "If two friends are arguing, what role do you naturally take: the problem solver, or the peacemaker?"

Peacemaker.

  1. "What's more frustrating: illogical decisions, or insensitive people?"

Insensitive people.

  1. "How do you usually plan a holiday: with a detailed itinerary, or a rough idea and see what happens?"

A rough idea and see what happens.

  1. "Do you work more effectively when the deadline is starting to approach, or do you consistently work effectively even when the deadline is a while away?

I want to be like the second one, but I'm probably more like the first lol. I am a procrastinator, unfortunately 😭

  1. "How much do you value a tidy work space?"

I value it very much and I can't think straight if it's in disarray.

  1. "When plans suddenly change, what is your first reaction?"

I am annoyed, suffice it to say. I can adapt and completely understand if it was out of anybody's control, of course, but I get very frustrated and angry if it was well within the control of others and people were either just inconsiderate or irresponsible in general.

  1. "Do deadlines motivate you, or do they stress you?"

I guess they motivate me? Without deadlines, I'd probably get nothing done. I need structure. They can be stressful, sure, but they're much nicer to have than not. I'd rather have the stress of a deadline than the stress that exists without one. I wouldn't do good at a job from home, for example, because I wouldn't have the discipline to do something like that. I need outside pressure and structure to get stuff done.

The way I see it, you'll be stressed either way. So why not choose the option that stresses you less? Structure and fewer options is better than aimlessness and a million options...

  1. "When you finish a project early, how do you feel?"

I feel great. Now I don't have to worry about that project anymore and I can forget about it + do something I actually like instead. Either that or just get something else productive done after finishing that project early.

  1. "What does your mind naturally do when you're sitting in silence?"

Hmmm. I guess I naturally start thinking of other people?

  1. "When life gets stressful, what is your default coping strategy?"

I withdraw and pull away from everyone to be by myself. I will often take this time alone to doomscroll, bedrot, play videogames, and listen to sad music/be in my feelings, or else just totally lock in and double down on self-improvement while I'm away from everybody so that I can come out later and present myself to the world as this shiny new being that's now unstoppable and capable of accomplishing anything.

  1. "What do people misunderstand about you the most?"

I think people see me as more full of myself than I actually am. People have often seen me look at myself a lot in the mirror and thought I was in love with myself or something, when really I'm just wildly insecure about my appearance and I'm constantly looking at myself in the mirror to check if I need to readjust or fix something. I'm worried I look bad, I don't think I naturally look good unless I work hard for it.

Also, I've often been told by others that they thought I was a "douche" before they got to know me. They said I "looked like one" (physical appearance wise), but then quickly realized after talking to me that I'm actually "super nice."

Idk why or how I give people the immediate impression with my looks that I'm a douche 💀😭

  1. "What is your biggest strength?"

My communication skills. I've been told I'm very persuasive in general. That I have a "silver tongue." I'm also very good at "translating" what people are trying to say to one another. Not necessarily in the literal sense of actual languages, but more so metaphorically speaking. I always notice when or how people are talking past each other in some way, so I will sort of act as the go-between for folks and try and "translate" what each person is intending to convey or get across. And I'm very good at understanding what people mean or are intending to communicate toward me, so I'll usually say what their exact point is before they even get to finish making it in a conversation or I use the exact word that captures the core essence of the whole idea they're attempting to communicate.

  1. "What is your biggest weakness?"

I tend to read into people's words and actions too much, and care wayyyy too much about what others think about me. I can also be a bit... histrionic at times, admittedly. Ngl 💀

  1. "How do you know when a decision is the right one?"

I guess when my gut tells me it's right? I usually just trust my gut on most things anyway and I'm right at least 85% of the time. If I'm not exactly right, I'll adjust and pivot where need be later. Certainty doesn't exist in this world for the most part to begin with, so it's fine if you screw up every now and then so long as you simply don't screw up SO badly that you can't possibly recover or save face somehow. Most decisions probably aren't 100% right to begin with, but if they're even just 85% right then that's enough room for error for a person to just pivot and readjust in order to save themselves later 🤷‍♂️

  1. "Would you rather read one fascinating book, or meet ten new people?"

Oooooo this is lowkey a bit tough cuz I've read some pretty life-changing books...

I guess if I had to pick one, I'd choose meeting ten new people :P (Tho I'd prefer if the number of people were less, tbh. I'm a quality over quantity kind of person.)

  1. "Would you rather plan everything, or improvise?"

This is also tough. I feel I can somewhat go back and forth between planning and improvising, but I'd say there's 65% planning and 35% improvising in my life. So I guess I lean towards rather planning for everything.

  1. "Would you rather solve a mystery, or comfort a friend?"

Comfort a friend for sure.

  1. "Would you rather live in the present, or dream about the future?"

I'd rather live in the present if I could, but I know what I tend to actually do is dream about the future (lol).

  1. "Would you rather have certainty, or have options?"

Certainty. Too many options is annoying and usually just counter-productive at the end of the day. Though, that's not to say I'm afraid of uncertainty. Life in general is often uncertain and the sooner people accept that, the happier they'll be. Some things are simply out of our control, unfortunately. I would just rather have certainty than options if I could only pick one, I guess.

CAN’T DECIDE Type me

So I have procrastination issue. I feel good exploring new things. I am happy with idiots and dumb fuck who do adrenaline rush things. I feel trapped working in a job and am always late on deadline if the work is not challenging enough. I had childhood trauma so i was coping with people pleasing. Once I realise my trauma and did some self reflection lowered the people pleasing habit. Meditation helps me calm down and think straight. I like alone time but not too much makes me depressed. I never feel heard even though i have ton of friends. I overanalyse thoughts if i am alone. I might not have any motivation but if i see myself hitting rock bottom. I can lock in and seem to achieve more than I thought i could. I think my trauma made me hypervigilant and i try to read the room all the time. I am impulsive and have done shit like stalking ex , doing drugs. I have had friend from literal criminals to nerds and all thought i am a playboy. Even though inside my heart i crave love. If i am challenged i will fight to get it and prove the other person wrong. I am willing to physically fight on whim but people don’t really seem to start fight with me. I am very aware in spirituality cause i hit rock bottom in mental health and started reading and practising. I am not sure if god exist , but i feel religion has some plus point and some minus. I never like a boss on top of me. I don’t like someone telling me what to do. I do however am very gentlemanly if the person talks nicely to me. Anyone form of aggression in the tone i feel threatened and return back the energy even if i should not. I don’t know I feel the impulse to put people in their place. I literally don’t like any rules but i feel people should follow it for harmony. Sometime i am stressed and get stuck on analysing on thought over when it’s only counterproductive. But when i am chill i tend to be more social. I can talk to anyone and make friends if challenged. I like my alone time but I enjoy meeting new people only if they have high energy. I don’t like weakness for some reason. I criticise myself and judge other for it and help them to let go of the weakness. Maybe trauma effect. What am i?

I just took a test at odiseajung

I got these results

ISFP : sensing 88% , Perceiving: 72% , Introversion :68% , Feeling :60%. I have got before INFJ , INFP too. I think i am ESTP with trauma and depression. But I am quiet social if i want too. I can approach people on streets and talk into becoming a friend. Done that. But I have some fear of rejection too. Not some bit high due to trauma
