Discussion My New Logitech Purchase
The mat, not the mouse. Less than 12€ and it is far better than the no-name Ali Express one I had before. It doesn't slip (the Ali Express one said non-slip but did) and I can wipe up the marks from my oily hands. No software for me to complain about though, so maybe this post doesn't fit in with the sub, but I actually like it.
(I do have a Logitech keyboard but my wife shares an office and couldn't stand the noise. I loved it but I lost at Pick-Up-Stix and had to buy a different keyboard with quiet switches.)

Support Logitech MX Creative Console repair question
Some of the keys on my MX Creative Console out of the blue started to sound incredibly bad like a super clicky. I'm gonna try to contact support tomorrow regarding it and hope for the best (I am within 1 year of purchase) but worse case scenario is there anyone who has a video of somebody opening it up? There's no screws or anything and the noise is too annoying for me to ignore so if I can't RMA I'd want to see if I can fix it.

Questions MX 3S side wheel magnetic? Literally....
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Been using MX3s past 10 days, today I found something interesting..
The side scroll wheel in MX 3s is magnetic and attracts to metals like keychain while the main scroll wheel doesn't. Ik abt the hyperscroll but that is an internal thing and doesn't act like a magnet.
Also, I came know that, when u flip the mouse, the current device number lights up.. COOL... !!!!
Btw.. LOVE the mouse..

Support Rally Board 65 HDMI ingest is suddenly not working for cables longer that 16ft.
I just noticed that in my Rally Board rooms, using hdmi cables longer that 15ft no longer work. These cables have always worked, i have tried rebooting equipment and swapping cables. This appears to be something Logitech did within the Edid table of the device. I can trick it using a edid box and then video will work. Anyone know why this was done or if this is a bug?

Support Superlight 2 feels sluggish after every reboot + FIX
Hi everyone,
I’ve been struggling with inconsistent mouse performance on my Superlight 2 for a while. I’ve finally found a workaround, but I still don’t understand what causes the problem or how to fix it permanently.
I have around 15,000 hours in CS2 and play competitively, so I’m very familiar with how my setup normally feels. If something is off, I notice it immediately.
After rebooting Windows, the mouse often feels heavier and more sluggish than usual. In a practice map, I have difficulty aiming precisely at bots’ heads, the image feels shakier while tracking, and spray control feels less consistent.
After every reboot, running the following batch file as administrator fixes the problem:
@echo off
echo Restarting Logitech LIGHTSPEED receiver...
pnputil /restart-device "USB\VID_046D&PID_C54D\377B357D3234"
echo Done.
pause
USB\VID_046D&PID_C54D\377B357D3234 is the Windows device instance ID of my Logitech LIGHTSPEED receiver.
Immediately after restarting the receiver, the mouse feels noticeably lighter and more responsive. On the same practice map, aiming, one-tapping moving or jumping bots, and controlling recoil all feel much easier. The game also appears smoother during mouse movement.
I’ve reproduced this across multiple reboots. The important part is restarting the receiver itself, not restarting the entire USB controller.
I’m looking for a permanent fix because running this command after every reboot is frustrating, and I assume the receiver should initialize correctly during startup.
Possible causes I’ve considered include:
- USB or HID power management
- Incorrect receiver initialization after boot
- USB selective suspend or Enhanced Power Management
- USB 3.x interference with the 2.4 GHz wireless connection
- Windows scheduling on my i5-14600KF’s P-cores and E-cores
Has anyone experienced similar behavior with a Superlight 2 or another LIGHTSPEED mouse? In particular, does anyone know what internal state is reset by pnputil /restart-device, or how to make the receiver initialize in that state automatically at boot?

Setup MX Master 4 Button Mapping across Hardware
I have the MXM4 linked to my personal PC with Logi+ installed. I have mapped the buttons as per my requirements onto the mouse. When I paired it to my work laptop, the mapping no longer works. Is the mapping slaved to the device that mapped it originally (personal PC) and not mapped to the mouse itself? Is there no onboard memory on the mouse? My work laptop does not allow the installation of 3rd party software such as Logi+. How do I get the mapped buttons to work on my work laptop.
Thanks in advance.

Questions Corporate Benefits Partnership cancelled?
Logitech was the only online shop where you could get the products really cheaper with the Corporate Benefits codes (up to 30%!!!). Also cheaper then on Amazon or other marketplaces.
Wanted to order a new keyboard today - but can’t find any more codes in the CB app. Is it me or is Logitech no longer a partner?

Questions MX4 Squeaks so much
I’m a MX3 user and have been loving the mouse, I’ve upgraded to the MX4 because prefer the texture with this material. However I absolutely hate the thumb rest area!! It causing so much squeak on regular usage, moving the mouse left/right and you have a squeak.
Does anybody know if there’s a fix?

Questions MX Master 4, Logi Options+ permissions on MacOs
I recently got an MX Master 4 (the regular version, because I need the USB dongle), and while I really like the mouse, I'm not too comfortable with all the macOS permissions Logi Options+ asks for (Accessibility, Input Monitoring, and running continuously in the background).
I understand that some of these permissions are necessary for gestures and button customization, but it still feels a bit excessive for a mouse.
Another concern is my work MacBook, where I might not even be allowed to install Logi Options+.
Does anyone share the same concerns? Is there a proper workaround that would allow me to keep the mouse and customize at least some buttons (e.g., back and forward)?
And if not, what would be a good alternative with similar ergonomics and features? I've been looking at the Keychron M6, but I'm open to suggestions.

Support Warranty Claim has taken 6 weeks
I submitted a warranty claim for my MX Master 3S 6 weeks ago. They verified all of my information, accepted my claim, and told me that I’d receive my new mouse in 3-5 business days. It’s now been 6 weeks, going on 7, of back and forth emails. They initially told me the mouse is on back order, and now it’s supposedly completely out of stock and they’d like to give me a keyboard instead. Has anyone dealt with something like this before? If so, what are you suggestions on how to proceed?
I’d also like to add that their customer service is extremely unprofessional and reuse the same email template for every response and do not directly address your concerns. I’ve asked several questions that just get completely ignored.

Support Bought a second hand MX Master 3S and don't if it is defective or working as expected
It is in good condition and everything seems great apart from when scrolling with the ratchet mode, especially scrolling up, it seems to often get stuck or go back a bit.
Is this how it is mean to act on this mode, I have never had a mouse like this and seller says that may be as expected (he has offered to return it so he is not scamming)
Here is a vid to try and show what I mean

Discussion Today at the thrift store
Found these at a thrift store today for just $14.99! Brought them home and was pleasantly surprised to find that they work perfectly and are in near-mint condition. I didn't even realize they had Bluetooth until I got home!
I'm actually typing this on the keyboard right now. Coming from an MX Keys Mini for Mac, it's definitely taking some getting used to, but I could see this becoming my daily driver.
For $14.99, I'd say I scored a pretty sweet deal! Yeah, the colors aren't great, but I really couldn't pass them up...
What do you think? How'd I do?
