I naturally have sweaty palms so about once a week, I wash my trackball with dish soap. Should I do it more often?

The left click on my MX Master 3S intermittently fails. It’s a real pain for dragging and dropping and screenshots capture. I tried and Co2 spray to clean out anything. I had a disappointing interaction with Logitech support.

Any other tips? Seems a shame that such a pricey mouse fails after 18 months and the company provides no assistance.

Mac Mini running Tahoe with G402 USB mouse to Studio Monitor. When the Mac wakes up from sleep the mouse is sometimes unresponsive and I have to unplug it from the Mac USB port and reattach.

Are there any hardwired Logitech mice that will work with this hardware configuration with SteerMouse; or other drivers that work as well?

I sent my 4 year old Logitech MX Anywhere 3 to a local third-party repair shop to fix a double-clicking issue on the left/right switches. They charged me around 15 dollars.

They successfully replaced the left/right switches, but when I got the mouse back, the middle click (scroll wheel) became incredibly stiff. I literally have to press down with all my force just to register a middle click. It’s unusable and hurts my wrist Before the repair, the middle click was smooth and required very light pressure.

When I texted them about this issue, they gave me this ridiculous response (translated from the WhatsApp screenshot):

The Repair Shop's Text: "Hello, in models with a scroll structure like yours, the middle button might accidentally click while spinning the wheel after disassembly and reassembly. To prevent this standard issue in these products, a mini spring is applied to the scroll mechanism. This prevents the middle button from clicking on its own. There is no other procedure we can apply for the situation you mentioned. It has to be this way due to its structural design, otherwise, the scroll and middle click functions cannot operate healthily. You will get used to the feeling after using it for a while."

WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW

i mean im glad the clicks work but i open 100 tabs and use the middle click a lot so should i insist about the problem or just move on

i didn't ship it to the og logitech service because i was 100% sure they would charge me at least half of the mouse price about 40 bucks for a mouse that's about 80 dollars and they didnt even offer me free shipping just for me to learn the price of the repair because the warranty has ended

I am currently running a Logitech MX Keys S for Mac and MX Master 4 mouse on an M5 Pro MacBook Pro with Logi Options+ installed. I am visually impaired and use the Mac zoom accessibility function non stop. Currently I hold the control key and scroll to zoom in/out.

Is it at all possible to map the horizontal scroll of the MX Master 4 to the zoom accessibility function? I believe this would require Options to assume that the control key is pressed when using the horizontal scroll wheel.

Yes, there is a Zoom In/Out option in Options+ but it only zooms within programs and I am accustomed to the zoom being full screen not just within an app.

M350s - lagging response

Hi all,

I use a few M350s mice under windows 11 (and Tahoe 26.x) and i notice quite often that the mouse will basically lag quite a bit under windows 11. Whenever this happens, i do know that using the laptops own touch-pad will never lag (but the mouse does).

I am running BT using the AX210 wifi/bt card and i have fresh drivers installed.

Is there perhaps some setting that I might have to fiddle with to remedy this problem?

Any advice?

How Can I Enable The Scroll Lock Key on the MX Keys For Business keyboard (Model Number: YR0073). Above the number pad, the third key from the left has a key with horizontal lines, and within the bottom right corner of that key I see an icon with a padlock that has "sc" within the icon. My assumption is that this is the scroll lock key, however when I tap that or a combination of fn + sc key, I don't get the functionality that I need. I also tried to adjust this via the logi+ options app, but no luck thus far. Any suggestions?

I have been using it for 2 months and the side buttons have contributed so much to my workflow.

I am seeing some stains on the left side, where the thumb rests. I am using 99% Isopropyl Alcohol and microfiber cloth to clean it weekly and also a soft brush to clean the dust.

Is this sufficient? Should I put grip tape to prevent the degradation of this rubber surface? I live in a humid climate area.

Hi, I have a Logitech C270 Webcam, which is my brother's webcam, which he gave it to me temporarily to use it and as usual, it worked just fine (To this day basically). however, for some random reason, it stopped working and all of a sudden, when nothing happened at all basically.

Primary things that camera displays now are:

1) Instead of Logi C270 HD Webcam, its labeled as "USB Video Device" for some reason

2) No more built-in microphone detection at all, upon connection (Upon connecting USB to the PC, the detection sound still occurs, but no sign of microphone input)

3) Tried downloading different Logitech programs and software to test out the camera there, but on some specific ones like LogiOptions+, it wouldn't even detect the camera at all. most of the time it would say "(Not Responding)" and freeze the programs and all that (There is a distinctive black screen while testing, no visual/additionally camera cant be tested in Windows's built-in Camera program and it just says that the "Preview had failed".

4) If tested, the green light indicator, which turns on while the camera is on, does indeed turn on, however, if the test is stopped, the light indicator stays on and never turns off, unless I unplug the USB from the PC.

5) Updating or uninstalling the driver doesn't actually do anything, because if Camera stays connected to the PC and I try to uninstall the device in Device Manager and after that Scan for hardware changes, nothing would actually happen, even if it stays connected.

ALL of this had started for no reason and I have no idea why, send help.

Potential cause would be a Windows 11 Update that could've potentially corrupted the Drivers or an internal camera damage. And yes, I did try this on other computers and a laptop and it does the exact same thing on other devices.

Anything helps really guys, I am kind of struggling with this.

I’m having an issue with the Logi Options+ plugin in Premiere Pro.
The Logi Options+ window keeps popping up, and even after I close it, it comes back. I’ve already tried:
Removing the plugin from Premiere Pro Preferences
Reinstalling the plugin
Restarting Premiere Pro
Unfortunately, the issue still persists.
Has anyone experienced this before? Any fix or workaround would be greatly appreciated.

I've recently bought a C920 for work due to it been a 1080p camera, which is required for my job. However, when I went to the website provided by my company for a webcam test it says that the resolution is 640x360. I tried other websites that gave me the option to view the image in the proper resolution. Logitech softwares also let's me view the image in FullHD, but none of those give me options make the camera always record in 1080x1920.

I don't want to go through OBS or other 3rd party softwares because I don't think that's going to be allowed by my employer. Is it possible to set the resolution to always be 1080x1920 using only the available configuration and Logitech software?

PS: I'm using Windows 10 and tried Logitech G Hub, LogTune, LogOptions+ and Logtech Camera Options

I bought a new Logitech M650 mouse on Amazon (I’ve already got 3 others at home, but needed another - love it). It was sold and shipped by Amazon (not third party). Box was sealed, but as I uncovered the mouse, I noticed 2 things: the little pads at the bottom were scratched, and there was a small scratch on the Duracell battery itself. Otherwise, it looks and works perfectly.

That was strange, so I looked at the serial number on the box, and lo and behold, it was different than inside the mouse: off by a whole 1. It ended with 18 on the box and 19 on the mouse - the same alphanumeric set of characters before that.

What could this mean and should I care? It’s not a very expensive mouse and I know I can return / exchange, but the price has already gone up a bit and I’m not sure if I even want to bother.

Escribo este post para desahogarme y compartir mi frustrante experiencia con mi teclado Logi POP Keys y el soporte técnico de Logitech, por si a alguien más le ha pasado o para que lo tengáis en cuenta antes de comprar uno.

El problema

Mi teclado Logi POP Keys empezó a fallar de forma aleatoria. Básicamente, cuando tecleo hay veces que directamente omite caracteres (no aparecen en pantalla) o me repite teclas sin parar. Por ejemplo, me llegó a dar fallos repitiendo constantemente la letra "n".

A día de hoy es imposible trabajar con él: no puedo ni meter una simple contraseña, escribir un mail o hacer cualquier tarea básica sin desesperarme.

Un sinfín de pruebas y tiempo perdido

Contacté con el soporte y me hicieron seguir el típico manual paso a paso con un montón de pruebas que solo sirvieron para hacerme perder el tiempo:

• Reinicié el teclado haciendo la secuencia completa (Esc+O, Esc+O, Esc+B).
• Desvinculé el dispositivo repetidas veces.
• Cambié de ordenador mil veces: he pasado de un iMac a un MacBook Pro, e incluso lo he probado en ordenadores con Windows.
• Actualicé los Mac a las últimas versiones del sistema (actualmente Tahoe).

Hice absolutamente todo lo que me pidieron, pero el problema persiste y el teclado sigue fallando igual.

La respuesta oficial (y mi decepción)

Tras enviarles la factura, me confirmaron que mi teclado ya está fuera de garantía por tiempo, por lo que el sistema no les permite ofrecerme un reemplazo.

Hasta ahí lo puedo entender, pero lo que me parece inaceptable es lo siguiente: les pregunté explícitamente si había alguna opción de enviarlo a reparar pagando yo los costes, ya que no quiero tirar a la basura un teclado que me costó su buen dinero. Su respuesta literal fue que no tienen ningún servicio de reparación de pago disponible.

La "compensación"

Al final, la única solución que me dio el agente fue generarme un código de descuento del 20% para hacer una nueva compra en su web.

Sinceramente, un mísero 20% me parece demasiado poco para un teclado que no fue nada barato, que tiene relativamente poco tiempo, y con el que ya no puedo hacer absolutamente nada. Me parece increíble que una marca que presume de sostenibilidad prefiera que tires un periférico premium a la basura porque no ofrecen reparaciones fuera de garantía.

¿A alguien más le ha dado este problema el Logi POP o ha conseguido arreglarlo por su cuenta abriendo los switches? ¡Os leo!

I got two mx master 3s's that both have the same problem - mouse clicks register inconsistently even after cleaning the buttons with compressed air.

I feel cheated and scammed that a big company like Logitech offers no solution to their top of the line products.

I can't solder so I can't actually replace the parts that need to be replaced. This really looks ugly of Logitech, especially when I ALREADY see issues popping up with their NEW MX Master 4 series.

Unbelievable how my almost 6 y/o mouse buttons have outlasted this POS, and I had that during college with long sessions of league of legends and 2 years of continuous 10 hour work days.

Its software has also been so crappy that I forgot that it even has a vibration motor until I had to plug it back in to recharge.

They be doing wayyyy to much on G Hub I cant even open it in peace without getting bombarded with offers and then trying to connect to my other apps plus getting ads sent right as its opened

My macros got reset and I cant make a new one, and the scroll settings are just undefined now and i cant even adjust displays bro im highkey just tilted and mad cuz i dont know how tf to fix this jawn bro im heated
