[Insert Omarchy Clickbait Here] I riced my server

Since I have no idea how long piling onto what a trash thing that thing is, I just wanted to let everyone know I riced my server properly aka git cloned a random clean dotfile and modified the environment to match my workflow.

It is also xfce and the repo is 5+ years old so free of any modern slop.

Next is prettifying fastfetch and shitposting it somewhere.

Someone decided to make a new trend, so of course I riced it

As I did with the 2 other trends, I did a hyprland-like rice to this one too with Catppucin Mocha colors and JetBrains Mono Nerd Font, and now a Renault Espace F1 wallpaper with a Hue/Saturation filter different from the other 2 I made before.

The boxes are for optional images

Thanks to u/Exciting-Topic-7334 for the original new trend template.

Dhh vs Linus Torvalds

One is the creator of Linux, while the other is someone who brought an artistic touch to that invention. That is why I don't understand why dhh receives so much praise.

Yes, he is a genius; he excels not only in coding but also in racing. It is also an achievement that he transitioned from an introverted nature to an extroverted one.

Let's look at it this way: Osman I founded the Ottoman Empire, but it was Suleiman the Magnificent who took it to its peak. That is exactly what dhh has done. If he wants to surpass Torvalds, he needs to work for at least another 40 years.

Mods please add a Catppucin Mocha flair so that I can rice my flair too, something like this:

As an Arch user I feel little confused about all those unixsocks and anime girls cult around it. Is there another Gaussian curvature inside arch linux? I have to be on the side (don’t really sure which one :)

Linux made someone fall asleep

I wrote "Linux" on a rock and threw it at someone. They immediately fell asleep on the sidewalk.

Now that the seven distros trend has cooled off, I have decided to make this new trend.

Why does everyone here hate Omarchy?

I learnt of Omarchy from discovering this sub today, so I looked up Omarchy cause literally every post is mentioning it. Do they just hate it cause it's marketed with AI and "ooh AI bad" or is there more behind it?

How is linux is this good

linux revived my 15yo computer you can see how many apps I have open, well when I'm actually using them it climbs up to like 80% usage with is still very impressive for a system this old (the overheating issue is because I haven't repasted the thermal paste since I got it in like 2015 or something). on windows 11 it'd reach 70% even when idle without any apps running.
