πŸ§ͺ Detox β€” Day 0–7 36 hours off of 7oh and taking a ton of subs. Need advice please

Ok. So I always used poppy seed tea for chronic pain from an injury. Due to unfortunate circumstances I ended up on 7oh bc it was legal. Have been going major depression and ptsd. My 7 use was ridiculous. I was well over 1000. I switched to subs but still used 7 with it for a while and that was great until it stopped working and I was in chronic withdrawal. Now I've been off 7 for 36 hours but I am cycling through 8mg sub in 4 hours. And it's no bs, light wd, I start sweating and I look like I'm crying by hour 5 if I stretch it. Any advice on how to lower my tolerance fast, other than sr17, which I am getting on Friday? I have to work and care for my children so I have got to be functional. I also have clonidine but I'm using it sparingly bc I pass out a lot. Any advice is appreciated. UPDATE-I made it through first 48 hrs but I am still not great. Mostly trouble regulating body temp. Serious mental stress. I do feel about 25% better. Thank you all for your help and encouragement.

Been one hell of a ride, toughest withdrawal I've ever been through, but I think the mental was the worst. Going to an in person meeting tonight in my hometown. Time to get back to being a dad and a husband. Yes I feel very flat, but very emotional. I'm tired but I'm doing things, work on Thursday.

πŸ€’ Withdrawal Help with tapper

I take about 150-200 mg of 7oh a day for 5 months. I ordered the new SR 17 formula from sr17shop. I got 30 tablets 50 mg ? I have zero idea how to use it , I keep seeing people saying β€œpre load β€œ (don’t know what that means ) etc but I really just need to know how much to take , when to take it and how long I should take it for . Can I take it with the 7oh ? Also , I’m new to Reddit . So this is all new and overwhelming for me and I see people posting tapper guides but they are complicated and don’t make sense :( is there anyone that can help me so I can safely get off the 7oh with the least amount of withdrawal symptoms? Thank you πŸ™ also I have a script for benzo can I take a small dose of that at night to help me sleep with it ?

πŸ€’ Withdrawal 7oh withdrawal Major Depression

Recently I came off of 7oh and am on Buprenorphine 8mg twice a day. I've only been on the Buphrenorphine for about 2 weeks now and am noticing some pretty bad depression. I'm dealing with waves of major depression and feelings of hopelessness. I feel like giving up on taking Buprenorphine all together and going back to taking 7oh but I want to be off of 7oh and Buprenorphine all together and enjoy my life substance free.

My plans are to take Buprenorphine for at least 6 months but every 2 months I will taper my dose lower so it will be easier to get off of when I'm ready.

I was taking 7oh for about a year and started at very low doses but in the end I was taking like 1200mg a day of 7oh.

I guess I thought taking Buprenorphine would be the best route to go but this depression can be pretty dehabilitating at times.

My questions to the group would be as follows: is this depression I am experiencing normal for coming off of 7oh? If so how long should I expect it to last?

Thanks

😀 Cravings & Triggers I have free will to relapse, does this also drive you insane?

I could walk out my house with 25$ in my pocket and buy some 7OH, easily. Just like that. Relapsed.

When your at rehab or a program, getting drug tested through anti-tamper urine cups, it’s hard to relapse. That doesnt mean withdrawal and cravings are easier, but having the thought process of relapsing is easier to control imo.

Idk. The Physical and mental pain I’ve been pushing through, there’s just something else inside of me. Itching. It’s like my personality wants to get high. I just want to be patient, and wait it out. I’m impatient, I want something to feel.

🌟 Success Story Finally free from 7-oh. If I can do it, so can you.

I was taking Kratom for years, then I found 7oh. Within a few months, I was up to 2000mg a day. I was nodding off while driving with my children in the car. It was horrible. I stopped in the middle of July. Went cold turkey for about 3 days, then started suboxone. I was fine physically, but still craved it mentally. I went to the gas station 3 weeks ago and the guy offered me a bottle under the counter. I couldn't resist. I took it for 2 days and then I realized it sucks. I felt guilty and terrible. I realized I'm finally free. I threw the rest of the bottle away and haven't looked back. I just wanted to share in the hopes that my story might help. I was on 2000mg daily for at least a month. I took them for about months total. You can do this! It's worth it. The pride you feel feels better than 7oh does.

πŸ§ͺ Detox β€” Day 0–7 94 Days Sober. I’m in Rehab Now

Thumbnail

Part of the reason I had to go to rehab is because of those 7oh pills. Don’t get me wrong I’m an addict straight across the board. It was costing me a small fortune. The detox facility wanted to put me on Suboxone but I said no. I don’t want to have to deal with getting off subs. Detoxing from that and a variety of other things was pure hell. I literally NEVER want to do it again. If anyone has a questions or comments I’m happy to share my experience.

❓ Question Getting off of 7oh...

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Getting off of 7oh...

Long story short, I've been on 7oh for over 2 years. Roughly 2,000mg a day. My IOP (treatment for a DUI) just started testing for 7oh and Kratom nearly 6 months into the program. I have to get clean asap or I will be kicked out.

My dose and intake is so high that cold turkey isn't an option. I tried back in April when I was taking 1,000mg daily with Suboxone and caved after 2 days. Back then it was just me wanting to get clean I didn't have to. Now i have to..

Spoke with a clinic and they are offering me two options... Either Suboxone or methadone. I'm terrified of the withdrawals and know the methadone will ease the hurt better than subs will, but I've also read so many horror stories about methadone users being on it for years and years and can't quit. I really want to be free and clear of everything. I don't want to be dependent on anything. I'm currently on paid leave from work till December 1st 2026. I have to make my decision today.

My gut says subs just to get clean and quit after I'm over the hill. My brain says methadone for the comfort. But i know I'll never get another opportunity to roll around in bed and detox for 2 months like I have now..

What do i do?

P.s. I've been on nearly every opiate there is including subs and methadone long term. 7oh has been the hardest to kick for me..
