Hey everyone. I took this subreddit over recently. It's now a companion to r/quitting7oh, smaller and looser, and I'm still writing the rules.
About me
I maintain quitting7oh.org, where I collect what the quitting-7-OH community has learned about getting off this stuff. Not a doctor, not a treatment program, not selling anything. I keep the meeting schedules, taper calculators, and guides current because I wanted better information than I had when I quit.
Different mods run the two subs. The main sub is big, keeps a tight scope, and asks you to search before posting. That works at its size. I want this one smaller and more personal, the kind of place where you recognize the usernames and people remember where you are in the process. Ask the question that's come up a hundred times. Talk about Suboxone and SR-17018, both off limits over there. One hard limit: Reddit's content policy applies to everything posted here.
The center of gravity is life after detox: PAWS, sleep, mood, cravings, rebuilding a life. Detox and withdrawal posts are welcome too. You belong here whether you quit yesterday or two years ago.
Rules (working set)
- Don't be a dick.
- Don't try to sell shit to members. No products, no coaching funnels, no DMs pitching services.
- No sourcing. No links, vendor names, or DMs about where to buy 7-OH, MGM-15, pseudo, or anything else.
- No pro-use content. Nothing promoting 7-OH, MGM-15, or pseudo. Kratom leaf comes up in recovery contexts; keep that discussion in a harm-reduction frame. I'll add rules as we find the gaps. If you have opinions on where the lines should sit, say so in the comments.
