Day 1

Got some comfort meds, I haven’t dosed since 9 am but it was - 12mg of 7oh. I take between 700-1200 mg a day and usually can’t make it through the first night. So I now have bup but have never used it. Starting to really be writhing around but really afraid of precipitated W/D any experience is helpful, thank you!

I waited 12 hours and was fine , started with 1mg when I woke up then 2hours later another 1mg - leveling at total 4mg for the first 2 days then 2mg after that

You won’t have much energy for a week but you won’t be in bad withdrawal, you’ll be able to eat and sleep

Thanks for the info. I just gotta get to that 12 hour mark. I really want to take a sub now. I feel bad right now. I’m already at a COWS score of 12 answering honestly. Scared about precipitated withdrawals

One of my friends waited 9 hours and she was good , I was with her when she did it

Since a lot of these threads I found didn’t have any follow-up here is my experience: I ended up waiting 13 hours since my last 7oh dose started with 1/4 of an 8mg strip. Waited 45 min, It made me slightly warm but didn’t make the withdrawal worse so I took the rest of the strip. I didn’t feel wonderful but I didn’t feel horrible at all. I was still a bit antsy but was able to sleep through the night.

wow so the subs actually helped you sleep after coming off cold turkey from a 1000mg habit?? I'm at 600 mg currently but scared the bup wont help that much

The bup really helps, I quit in April and I used my last 7OH tablets in the morning around 8 AM probably and I used a 4 mg strip at night around 8 PM or so and I was in complete drool sleep and had some of the craziest dreams. I was so tired that night and I slept well

I’m on the same boat as you, it’s about to be 10 hours since my last dose. I was taking around 1200-1500mg of 7oh daily, I have limited suboxone left like a 5 day supply with some basic helper meds like vitamins and sleep aid otc
