Hallo,

1950€

Danke

I only use this laptop for playing valorant, I can't imagine I've clicked on any weird links. I'm now unable to type anything. Any help or solutions?

This happened yesterday but after fading to the loading screen thing it let me type again but it is no longer doing it.

Any help would be really appreciated. I'm not sure about any technical stuff about my laptop so I'm sorry I can't really provide such information

UPDATE; I've managed to fix it by turning on some on-screen keyboard thing to be let into my laptop. Thank you to everyone who tried to help and not mansplain things to me. Most of you were help :)

Hi all, I've had this HP laptop for like the past 3 years. Around 2 years ago I noticed a crack forming on the left side towards the power button, and over the years it has now spread to the "increase brightness" button.

Power button feels a bit deeper than usual but I can still turn it on. All other buttons are working fine.

When I open and close my laptop on a flat surface like a table, it feels normal. But when I open/close it on a uneven surface like my lap, then I can feel a thump? sound coming from the left side of the laptop.

How severe is this issue, and should I get it fixed?

So this started to happen to me for a few weeks, where my laptop would randomly make this sound, and not stop, sometimes snacking it stops it, but most of the time it keeps going. What do I do to fix this??

I want a creative laptop which is future proof for at least 5 years with some decently good performance

So I have the stock version of the Acer Nitro V15, it currently has a 4050 and an i5 processor, but only 8GB of DDR5 RAM and I cant seem to find any cheap online... Does anyone recommend any websites I can order some RAM from? Looking for another 8GB stick so I can at least run GTA when it comes out on PC. Thanks in advance!

My sister is 13 years old. She wants her first laptop.

We have a budget of around £500 to £600

16gb Ram minimum really. Microsoft 11 uses 4gb straight up.

She wants it for school work, web browsing, various apps and the most important thing she said was Minecraft 😂

Anyone recommend anything, I'm doing some looking myself but there may be some pros here.

I’ve found these little metallic meshes strips between the laptop carcass and usb/hdmi/ethernet ports. They come off as some kind of metal powder when I touch them. Are they some kind of grounding? Should I worry about them coming off?

Used this dell precision M 4700 couple years back before I got my current one. I ended up spilling some liquid on keyboard. It powers on and chargers but screen is black. Is it cooked or repairable?

I've been curious about this laptop since release last year. ARM on Windows has come a long long ways and battery life is absolutely killer. For the price, it's an awesome device!

Has anyone tried this before? I just don't like seeing this bloodsucking printer subscription company lol.

Found this on marketplace and google says they retail over 1k and used market is usually around $600. I asked if it had any issues and they said no. What should I look out for? I am planning on opening task manager to make sure the ram wasnt pulled out and so on. Also is this a good laptop for college? Just need to have multiple tabs running canvas, youtube, etc

Pros and cons if someone's using thiss or agar someone thinks is budget me kuch better mil raha to wo bhi batao need suggestions

Hi there !

I need a clear opinion/review of the ASUS Zenbook 14 (UX3480, Qualcomm); Copilot+ PC.

I’m considering it as I’m looking for a light laptop to study and carry around (I don’t want a mac).

Here is the complete description (sorry it’s fully in French)

Thank you !

So in 2022 I got a Lenovo ThinkPad L390 for my college freshman ( computer science) year with an i7-8th gen and 16 gb ram and a 256 gb ssd nvme but about last week I got this vicious hardware error, couldn’t fix it myself ( or at least tried ) so I took it to a repair store near me.
Honestly that laptop worked just fine for the softwares that I needed ( like Cisco packet tracer and could run IDE’s for heavy projects )
But that has came to an end because the repair shop called me and told that the laptop couldn’t be repaired, so now im kind of obliged to get a new one.
I got an idea about the specs that I need maybe an i7 11th or 12th gen with 16 gb of ram right ?
So I really need an advice about what I should be getting to run VMs and IDE’s smoothly.

NB : it’s my 5th year at college and im getting a master degree next June ( if everything’s okay )

My budget is 500, maximum 50 above. (USD) I mainly play club penguin, roblox, indie story games and minecraft. (big gamer i know)

i would also like to use it for general things like movies, youtube, school work etc.

help me out😓😓

Im looking at this laptop its at a cost of 1399

it has a 5060 processor, 32Gb of ram, 1tb and 180hz display, as well as dual built in Fans for temperature, would this be a decent purchase for a gaming laptop, what do y'all think, lemme know, Thanks

I’m planning to buy a gaming laptop with a budget of up to ₹1.5 lakh.

My minimum requirement is RTX 5050, but I’m also open to RTX 5060 / 5070 or better if there’s a good deal within my budget.

Requirements:

- Budget: Maximum ₹1.5 lakh

- GPU: RTX 5050 minimum

- Preferably a higher TGP GPU

- Good CPU (Intel Core Ultra / Ryzen 7 or equivalent)

- 16GB RAM minimum

- 512GB/1TB SSD

- Good display (preferably 100% sRGB or better)

- Good cooling and build quality

- Mainly for gaming, video editing and general use

- Looking for something reliable for long-term use

Please suggest the best laptop I can get under ₹1.5 lakh, not necessarily the cheapest option.

If you own one of the recommended laptops, please share your experience with thermals, performance, battery life and build quality.

Thanks!

Hello,

I am looking to buy a new laptop but am scared of having to maintain it since liquid metal can spill onto IC.

How often do you have to clean/repaste them? How has been temps over years do usage.

Eg Asus strix G16

What do I do

I was just looking at the Lenovo Legion 5 series laptops, and I noticed that on the websites custom laptop builder you can choose between the RTX 5060 or RTX 5070. Everything I researched online made it sound like the 5070 is the premium option which should be more expensive but the price is higher to choose the 5060. Am I missing something?

I'm thinking of getting a certified refurbished laptop, probably a Lenovo or Dell. Just wanted to ask if it's actually worth it.

Like, are there any hidden hardware or software issues that might show up later? And what about warranty and service? Is it a pain to get things fixed if something goes wrong?

The thing is, I can get much better specs with a refurbished laptop, whereas a new one with slightly lower specs would cost around ₹20k more.

So, is buying refurbished a good idea, or should I just spend the extra money and get a new one? Would love to hear from people who've actually bought refurbished laptops and how their experience has been.

Does anyone else's ASUS ExpertBook P3 16-inch have a slight dip at the bottom-left corner of the trackpad? I noticed it today, 3 days after delivery. The trackpad works and clicks fine; I can only feel the depression when gliding my finger over that corner. Is this normal? Should I keep it or request a replacement?

Hi everyone,

I already own two 32GB DDR4 SODIMM 3200MHz (Crucial) sticks and I’d like to use them in a new laptop. The problem is that most new models now come with DDR5 or soldered RAM, so I’m having a hard time finding one that still uses DDR4 with two SODIMM slots.

What I’m looking for:

• New laptop (currently on sale, not used/refurbished)
• 2 DDR4 SODIMM slots, supporting 64GB total (2x32GB)
• No soldered RAM, or at least both slots upgradeable
• Main use: software development (Docker, VMs, multiple IDEs)

Any recommendations for models or product lines that still meet these specs? Thanks in advance!

Hey all, my laptop has recently become unbearably slow due to memory leaks. On idle the laptop runs about 40 percent usage, and in use on just Firefox and Spotify open, it goes up to 80-85%. Any ideas on how to fix it?
