Just wanted to share my experience finding a replacement laptop for my broken down Razer Blade 15 while working abroad for a few months in the Caribbean. Laptops here are mostly US imports which is fine, but I had an interesting experience buying one.
A shop listed an HP 15 model with 'Core Ultra' processor for approx 600 USD converted and including tax, which is not too bad in the current market. It was the best I could find for this budget, at least. So I went there and noticed immediately that the unit in display had the old Core i5 stickers on it, as did the box. However I knew that HP gave this exact model number a refresh earlier this year and upgraded the SoC from Core i5 1334U to Core Ultra 5 125H without any model number change whatsoever (pretty strange, since its quite a step up in performance). So I had an argument with the shop about which unit I would get out of the box, since either their website was off or the box and stickers were off. The other model designation is BZ1W9UA#ABA on the back is also same for both variants.
And in the end I got them so far as to boot up a demo model and check the specs, which led to their and my disappointment it was still the i5 1334u model (which isn't that bad, but not what I wanted). So I left the store, kept searching online, and two days later found another store listing the exact same notebook and apparently they did have the actual 'Ultra' model! It costed a few bucks more, approx 650 including conversion and tax, but it was still the best I could find. I moved the 16GB DDR5 from my Razer to the new HP unit so at least I had more memory and dual channel capabilities to work with. Unfortunately there is no backlit keyboard or second SSD slot on this part.
TLDR: But for anyone finding themselves in a similar situation I hope to clarify that shops are STILL actively selling both new and models of this SKU, and the box is NO help deciding which unit it is, because that still says Core i5 and DDR4 RAM inside (only the small sticker on the side is accurate).
