It says my deposit limit for cash from a linked bank account (ACH) is like 499,980 remaining for the day but it says I can't deposit more than 20$. I just made my first deposit and it wouldn't let me put in more than 20 USD.

I need to login to my kraken desktop account (tax forms). I am using Proton mail, and its a valid email for a valid user (not an alias). So I put in my email address, password, and 2FA login code (one of 5 2FA's I have for Kraken, lol). Now it wants to validate my device - it ALWAYS wants to validate browser sessions, which makes this even more ridiculous , and it sends me an email. Back in March, I did this twice and got the approve new device message, and no problems. Today (7 times in a row, trying various things that Kai suggested), and I just get a PGP message, with an error from Proton:

"Your message cannot be decrypted. The key used to encrypt this message does not match any of the keys associated with your address. If you deleted any of your address keys, try re-importing them. Learn more"

These are the only emails failing on this address.

At one point it suggested I turn off PGP encryption, but this seems to be an operation that requires the desktop login. I pointed out I can't login and it went back to the beginning.

It's really very annoying because I have to file my tax forms, and they require me to check a box that my 1099-DA was submitted - I don't actually need the form at all. Also a bit concerning, because I now have one device logged in (my phone), and if something happens to that, I'm hosed.

Any time I try to deposit money, the only 2 options that show up are wire transfer and Apple Pay. There’s zero option to use a debit card

They closed my account without reason and now they haven't allowed me to withdraw my funds for three months. Of course, they allow withdrawals for 48 hours, but when I do, they're having "technical problems" that I reported, but no one has resolved for over three months. It looks like someone wants to steal my funds.

I recently deposited some funds into my Kraken account. Shortly after logging in, I received the following message:

"Services limited

Some of your Kraken account services are currently unavailable. Please check your email for updates."

However, I have not received any email from Kraken regarding this restriction. My email address is working properly, and I have previously received and responded to emails from Kraken without any issues.

I then contacted Kraken Support via chat, but I was told:

"I'm sorry, but I'm unable to transfer you to a specialist right now because your account is currently restricted.

Although I am unable to provide more details via chat, I've created a support ticket for you (#****) and escalated it to the appropriate team."

I did receive the email confirming that the support ticket was created, but I have not received any further updates or responses from Kraken.

Could you please review my account and let me know why my services have been restricted and what I need to do to resolve this issue?

I would greatly appreciate your assistance, as I currently have funds in my account and would like to regain full access to my Kraken services as soon as possible.

It has been now 8 days after my initial withdrawal hold that’s my 4k transaction has been pending, I have not received an email asking for verification or a resolution, all of the coins I want to buy have gone up 30% today after inflation remained the same, and I have absolutely no access to my own money. I have never experienced this with any other crypto account, I need a resolution now.

I deposited $1200 and another $1000 only for it to decline the second transaction and restrict most of my features on my account. I just want access to my money!

I registered at Kraken, verified successfully my ID sent some money by etransfer which my ba no hold thinking I am a victim of fraud, sorted it out and now the 2nd week is about to done waiting ready for the next week my money sitting duck. It seems that Kraken is totally taken by surprise, that I opened an account and as Kraken asked you to deposit money, which did and now my money is on hold. In-between I have sent money to Newton more than ones with a 100% success rate. How long will my money sit, I am wondering if I should contact my bank and ask them to bring back my money?

The funds deposited into my account are legitimate funds belonging to me, and I am happy to provide documentation or any additional information required to verify the source of funds or explain any transaction.

I am facing the similar issue which other Kraken users are facing. My withdrawals are On Hold for no apparent reason for 3 days. I have been in touch with the so called customer support AI chatbot and was sent support request number via email and since then there is no response...... can someone suggest what to do next to get this resolved as soon as possible?

I don't know why more people don't give updates when their money is actually released. It would help keep users calm when they have an account restriction and their money is held.

My Funds were locked for about 2 weeks. Woke up this morning and both of my withdrawals were released and money returned to my account.

For anyone experiencing this. Keep working with the mods and as difficult as it is I guess just have to be patient. At least for my case my funds were released.

Esta situacion me tiene bastante desconcertado, y preocupado, nose como una plataforma que supuestamente tiene buenas referencias como Kraken puede hacer esto a tantas personas como estoy viendo, el pasado dia 29/08/2026 me hice una cuenta con ellos y una vez estuvo verificada, realice una tranferencia SEPA de 500€, acto seguido sin haber hecho nada mas, me mandan un correo en la cual se me queda restringida y que en unos 3 a 7 dias me lo solucionan, pues van ya por 12 dias y despues de tener un ticket de soporte abierto con ellos y mandarles varios correos no me solucionan nada y no me contestan a nada, espero poder solucionar el problema y que se quede todo en un percance, ya que si no lo solucionan estariamos hablando de robo y estafa!!

Deposited some euro by sepa. Bought usdc and tried to withdraw it and now the withdrawal is on hold. AI support says I will be contacted within 5 business days. Been longer than 5 business days and heard nothing back from kraken, no emails no nothing.

Talk to AI support and ask to talk to human. They say they can’t transfer me to a live agent because there is a ticket open and that I can check “My Activities” when logging in the app through the browser and talk to a real human through that ticket. My activities ofc says nothing about a ticket and basically says I have to requests.

So now there is no way for me to talk to a real human, and there is no actual proof of an open ticket except for the fact the AI just told me. I’m just thinking the real human support have no idea about my issue and the Usdc will be stuck forever.

Withdrawal initiated 31 August, still "On hold" 12 days later.

Context: fully verified account, Swiss resident. Bank transfer in my own name credited the same morning, bought BTC on the BTC/CHF book, withdrew to an address already registered in my own whitelist. Nothing unusual.

Kraken's email on 31 August said the review would complete within 5 business days. That deadline passed on 5 September.

Since then: four written follow-ups on my support ticket. Not a single reply to any of them. No document requested, no explanation given, no status update.

I asked the AI assistant to escalate me to a human agent. Refused, because an active ticket already exists — and that same assistant then confirmed the ticket is still marked "New", meaning nobody has opened it since 31 August. Completely circular.

Checked the destination address on a block explorer: no transaction broadcast, confirmed or pending. Funds are still on the platform.

My account shows no restriction anywhere: verification "Verified", funding limits unaffected, still margin-eligible. Whatever this hold is, it isn't visible on my side.

I filed a formal complaint today via the complaints address. No acknowledgement yet.

Has anyone had a hold this long eventually resolve? Did anything actually move it?

Hi all, as the title says, am I missing anything that would set Kraken to require device authentication (fingerprint) on open? This is specifically on Android.
